About

On a wooded hillside high above, but adjacent to, the Otter Creek is this spacious three-story English Tudor Inn. Inside is an inviting, romantic, antique-filled Country-Victorian decor. The Inn is known for it's unique decor and attention to detail. Each guestroom has a private restroom with shower, a double whirlpool, TV, VCR, CD player, radio and alarm, fluffy robes, and coffeemaker. Many guestrooms also have a gas fireplace and mini-frig. Breakfast-in-bed is a specialty and the breakfast menu allows a choice of entrees and serving times. The Inn is popular for a getaway for an anniversary or birthday, and also a unique respite for business travelers. Stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon. Beautiful, quiet place, tucked away, but it was easy to find. Aside from some dust, the room was very clean. Excellent food and service. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you!

Retreat and Relax

This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience. It was the perfect setting to surprise my daughter a freshman at UWEC with an evening away from the dorm. It was an experience we will never forget. Time spent with my daughter and memories made here are priceless. Randy and Shelley run an outstanding Bed and Breakfast and made us feel right at home. Randy is an amazing cook and the breakfast was amazing. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a stay here.

Loved this place!

Quiet and cozy! The Otter Inn made you feel at home from the moment you walked in. Beautifully decorated and Randy the owner was friendly. Breakfast was served in our room and was delicious!

Hidden Treasure

The Otter Creek Inn was not what I expected. It was so much better! From the outside, it is a beautiful home set on a large wooded property. There are gardens surrounding the home with statuary and a gazebo. When you step inside, it’s like going back in time. There are furnishings, photos, instruments, collectibles, and so many items that have been gathered by the Hansen’s over the years. Each one holds a story whether it’s from 1865 or 1995. Randy and Shelley have also created numerous custom pieces throughout the B&B that reflect both their talent and their passion for creating something wonderful to be enjoyed by others. Oh, and the breakfast was fabulous!

Great visit

Lovely small room. We chose the smallest. Very clean and cozy. Hosts were super accommodating. Breakfast choices were many, and the breakfast was wonderful. The house was full of Victorian items. Could have spent lots of time exploring the library. Nice outdoor garden. Very convenient location.

Breakfast in room suits many. Not all

Stuck in a time warp. For example the owner said “it's all about the antiques...so we have a VHS player in every room and a selection of 200 videos to watch.“ Making a feature of that! Very nice host. I chose the Bed and Breakfast for the interaction with owners and guests. After my guided tour I had to choose my breakfast. The paperwork made it clear delivery to the room was the norm and if eating in the dining room one may be alone. Very nice breakfast delivered to my room bang on the time I selected. Jacuzzi in room but firm notes saying not to add any products at all to it. So I poached in some hot water for a while! Convenient location beside a busy highway. Rooms quiet. Fantastic Italian restaurant 5 minutes walk away. Not a peaceful walk but safe. Over the highway.

Good breakfast
