Nestled on four acres of aged Burr Oaks and stately Jack Pines, this intimate country inn welcomes you to life in rural Western Wisconsin. Located in Wisconsin’s Coulee Country, visitors enjoy the beauty of the hills and valleys combined with friendly, small-town atmosphere of the Whitehall area. Every season provides unique experiences for the fortunate traveler who passes our way. A bike ride or drive on the winding roads through nearby valleys, where Amish practice traditional lifestyles, will take you back through time to the 1800's. Steven and Linda invite you to experience a gentler era at the Oak Park Inn and Historic Hopkins House.

It was a step back in time for us. As a kid I used to play next door with my cousins. We were joined at breakfast by several guests that had ties like I did to the area and enjoyed the memories. The host was exceptional. We expect to return again in the spring.
Breakfast is always enjoyable at the inn, you never know who you might meet! Remind me to tell you the story of how two long lost cousins found each other over a cup of coffee. Thanks see you in the spring.

The grounds of the bed and breakfast were gorgeous! Our room was small buy cute and the owner is wonderful to work with. We would go back if we are in the area again.
Thank you for recommendation! If you are ever in our area again, I might recommend the Carriage House Suite 1 & 3 as they are two room suites, or the historic hillside guest rooms (4 through 9) with two queen beds. Agreed room 2 is quite cozy, Steven always says it is like visiting Grandma's house.

I have been hunting in the Blair -Whitehall area most of my life. I never knew this Inn existed, even after driving past it 100's of times. My wife & I stayed here in mid August and were very pleased with the pristine shape of the grounds and the accomodations. this quaint little Inn receives AAA+++ rating from my wife & I. Don & MaryKay Hmielewski Greenfield, Wi.
WOW, thank you for your impressions! Deer season starts this week-end, and here is hoping the best ever hunt in 2016, time for the trophy buck.

We loved the homey atmosphere. Everything we needed was at our fingertips, cleanliness, comfortable beds, plus coffee pot in the room, and even a candle was a delightful experience.
Thank you for your kind words, we try to keep the place tidy and neat, stocked with amenities we enjoy when traveling ourselves thanks for noticing. Come and see us again, Linda

Linda Mossman and Steven Sendele
Linda has always dreamed of living in a historical home and enjoys gardening and decorating. Steven continues to work outside the inn, but is always available on the week-ends to entertain the guests. Both enjoy sharing the history of their country inn with guests and pointing out the unique features of the grounds and private cemetary.
