Oak Park Inn

18224 Ervin Street , Whitehall, WI 54773 USA (Show map)

About

Nestled on four acres of aged Burr Oaks and stately Jack Pines, this intimate country inn welcomes you to life in rural Western Wisconsin. Located in Wisconsin’s Coulee Country, visitors enjoy the beauty of the hills and valleys combined with friendly, small-town atmosphere of the Whitehall area. Every season provides unique experiences for the fortunate traveler who passes our way. A bike ride or drive on the winding roads through nearby valleys, where Amish practice traditional lifestyles, will take you back through time to the 1800's. Steven and Linda invite you to experience a gentler era at the Oak Park Inn and Historic Hopkins House.

Love the Oak Park Inn

3.8 on November 01, 2017

The setting is beautiful. The hosts, Linda and Steve, are great and so welcoming. We wanted a fire in their fire put so they set it up and got it going while we were at dinner. Great service.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you! Did I mention that the fire I made for you was my first attempt by myself? Guess after 20+ years at the inn I do have much to still learn! LOL

I felt at home staying at the Oak Park Inn. I was greeted by name and felt extremely welcome. My room was clean and comfortable. I was survived by the value I received from my stay.

We love staying in our home away from home in Whitehall, Wisconsin! We attended our Uncle Reynolds' 100th birthday in Pigeon Falls! You have to book a year ahead to stay in this beautiful property! Gorgeous trees, flowers, historic home...so comfortable! Thanks to Linda and Steven for their wonderful hospitality! See you in a year! Biz Steinberg

We always love to stay at Oak Park Inn!! The scenery, gardens and spacious grounds allow for walks, relaxing, s'mores at the fire pit and birdwatching! Linda and Steven are the best hosts for all of the guests! Make sure you try the lingonberry jam on your bagel for breakfast! Great visit! Thanks! "Biz"

Most Pleasant

4.4 on November 15, 2016

It was a step back in time for us. As a kid I used to play next door with my cousins. We were joined at breakfast by several guests that had ties like I did to the area and enjoyed the memories. The host was exceptional. We expect to return again in the spring.

Innkeeper Response
Breakfast is always enjoyable at the inn, you never know who you might meet! Remind me to tell you the story of how two long lost cousins found each other over a cup of coffee. Thanks see you in the spring.

Cute little place

4.2 on October 11, 2016

The grounds of the bed and breakfast were gorgeous! Our room was small buy cute and the owner is wonderful to work with. We would go back if we are in the area again.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for recommendation! If you are ever in our area again, I might recommend the Carriage House Suite 1 & 3 as they are two room suites, or the historic hillside guest rooms (4 through 9) with two queen beds. Agreed room 2 is quite cozy, Steven always says it is like visiting Grandma's house.

A great stay at Oak Park Inn, great food, and very helpful advice planning a cycling trip. They print out maps and make your stay very enjoyable!

Innkeeper Response
Bicycling in Trempealeau County is the best in the Midwest. Glad you had a good time, Linda
