All rooms on third floor, so must be able to climb many stairs for coming and going. Recently stayed in the Studio Suite, which worked well for us and the room was quiet and very clean. The beds were so comfortable and really lent to a good night's sleep (adjustable base, very nice). Breakfast was tremendous; fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, 2 egg bakes, muffins, coffee, several juices. Nice selection of tea and coffee in room. Only bar soap offered in room, shampoo by request. Extender cord for light on the fan/light combo would be helpful.

Loved sitting on the porch with a glass of wine and our innkeeper extended herself beyond the call of duty. She.is also a realtor so if you are looking to move to Racine this is the place to stay.

Stayed two nights and absolutely loved it. So fun to have Christmas decorations up in October! Owners went out of their way to make my 8-year-old nephew's experience memorable. Will definitely stay here again!
Thank you for the nice review! He was so cute, how can you not spoil a child when you have the opportunity. We are kid friendly here and enjoy watching their amazement at the house and it's décor. It was so nice to have met you as well. Please come back and stay again when you are coming to town.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a relaxing weekend at a bed and breakfast. We ended up staying at Christmas House, and it did not disappoint! The hosts were fantastic. Breakfast was amazing. Homemade blueberry muffins that were to die for, fruit, and a fantastic omelet on Saturday morning. Then homemade french toast with bacon and eggs, and they even purchased some pastries from their favorite local bakery! The location was great; about a block away from the lake. The beach is about a half mile walk north with a great walking path the whole way. The downtown area is about a quarter mile north. We received recommendations for dinner options, and Olde Madrid was absolutely amazing - definitely check it out if you stay here!
It was so nice to have met you. We love letting our guests know about all the wonderful places we have in our Downtown Racine. Of course, if you are from out of town we have to have you try Kringle! Thank you for the wonderful words of praise of our bed and breakfast. You must come back to visit us again.

My daughter and I spent the night at the Racine Christmas House B & B. We enjoyed our time there. We enjoyed hearing all about the history of the Christmas House and it adds to the charm of staying there. It is a wonderfully eclectic, charming and fun place to stay. We enjoyed breakfast in the dining room and it was homemade and amazing! B&B is situated right next to the lake for walks and you must try the Mexican cafe down the street - 9 Juan Juan! It was exceptionally good food!!!
Thanks for coming to stay with us and experience our local cuisine. We are glad you enjoyed yourself and appreciate the nice words about our breakfast and the inn. Please come back to visit us soon.

As a child I visited the Christmas House and dreamed that one day I would live there. With a love and appreciation for the past, I am a preservationist and have restored many old homes with a hands-on approach. This historical landmark mansion is now my home that I want to share with people. I love to go on the hunt for a bargain and when it involves something old that is the highlight of my day.

We love our twist on this delicious old time recipe. We use inch thick fresh bread and toast it right in the pan. Then we top it with a bit of fresh cheddar cheese to make it extra special. Served with seasonal fruit this will start your morning off to a good start.
