Just enjoyed a wonderful girl's weekend at the Muse in Milwaukee. Our group enjoyed the walkability of the neighborhood, hospitality of the hosts, and spacious and interesting accommodations. Breakfast was amazing each day and even accommodated special dietary requests. I would highly recommend for a group or couple. Milwaukee has a lot to offer...check it out while staying at The Muse!

Room and bathroom were spacious and very good night sleep. Andrew and Mary Ellen were very helpful with my late night arrival and needing early morning Tylenol. 1st morning breakfast was fresh fruit and an excellent egg, onion, pepper, sausage wrap w/ avocado and sour cream - yum! I shared I am trying to eat healthy and both mornings were healthier options for a B&B. I recommend!

Maria and Andrew were wonderful hosts. We were greeted with wine and a cheese platter. Andrew who is from the UK joined us and entertained us with stories and his knowledge of the Area. The sitting area was alive with color and art. Vintage and New. Our room was more of the same very playful but had everything we needed. The next morning we were greeted at the table with a beautiful tasty and all organic breakfast. We were joined by the couple and enjoyed lively conversation, great stories and wonderful. As we were the only guests Andrew gave a wonderful tour of the entire place. We wanted to return and stay in every room! PS The dinner recommendation to Lazy Susan was amazing. Cant wait to be back.
Thanks for your kind review. We are happy you enjoyed your stay. Please come again! Best, Mary Ellen and Andrew

Like the city of Milwaukee, the Muse Gallery B&B was a revelation to us. Quaint. Comfortable. And in the heart of an emerging neighborhood called Bayview. Strange as it may sound, my wife and I loved our pillows (we're pillow snobs). The breakfasts were tasty, creative. And being an early riser, I liked the easy accessibility to the Kuerig coffee machine. Down the street was the Centrella (20 Belgium beers on tap), which for two days became our neighborhood pub. We were able to walk to two absolutely fabulous restaurants (Odd Duck and "the Lazy"), and it was a short drive to the waterfront to tour the art museum, parks and nifty old homes. We'll be back... ...Len, Grand Haven

We rented the suite out for a week and it was such a great place. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was truly outstanding with delicious homemade food. The food was not only fantastic but there was plenty of it. The home owners went out of their way to make this B&B truly a comfortable and charming place. We would without a doubt highly recommend staying here.

A girlfriend and I stayed at this inn overnight and loved everything about it. I chose it because it was located close to the airport (a 15 minute drive down one road). It was charming from the outside. Inns often cater to couples so it is a challenge to find a room with two beds. Here, we had a suite on the second floor bigger than some friends' city apartments with three beds! The living room was comfortable and we really liked the artistic décor. We were an easy walk to a strip with multiple restaurants. Breakfast was gorgeously presented and very tasty. We would return.

I normally don't give any higher than 5/10 for any bed and breakfast, but The Muse Gallery Guesthouse won my heart. I rate them 10/10. Perfect bedding, the bed was so wonderful I didn't want to get out of bed. The accommodations were fabulous I am a person who stays at a lot of bed & breakfast so I can say I've stayed at places that weren't as great as this one was. There was night time snacks that were not only perfect for my dietary needs but also for my snacking needs. I felt very safe and comfortable in this bed and breakfast. The location is quite and only 1/2 mile walking distance from places to eat, shop etc. I would truly recommend this place and the next time I'm in the area I'm going to want to book this place again.

Maria and Andrew are awesome! The room is homy and full of details! Cause we just arrived the day after Easter, we were surprised by all the decor. And even the kitchen and bathroom towels are with Easter greetings! It is a truly art gallery. The house is full of fine art pieces and also decorated diligently! They matched the wall pain color with the crystal light/lamp perfectly. Maria and Andrew even hung a crystal on the window, so that when the sunset is coming, the whole room will be decorated with colorful crystal reflections. Maria and Andrew are super! The story between them are very touching. We think they bring the magic to the world, and we adore them so much! Ohhh, I need to mention the food. We had different kinds of breakfast every morning. They are all so so so good. The quiche Mary made is the very best one I've ever tasted! It's our honor to be the first Asian guests of the Muse! Highly recommended!

Mary Ellen and Andrew
Andrew and Mary Ellen have a special story. They were pen pals since they were 11 years old. In 2010 they reconnected and decided to marry and open an inn in Milwaukee. They wanted to also support the local art scene so they selected a home in a happening neighborhood and set about to restore it so that guests could experience a modern, urban bed and breakfast stay inside an art gallery within walking distance of many of the city's best restaurants and, bars and shops.
