Built in 2001, Breath of Heaven B&B was established in 2006 with you in mind. The cottage above and the barn below gives this property a feeling of being down home on the farm. Neighborhood horses grazing and cattle completes the scene with a mountainous backdrop. All rooms are tastefully decorated and easily accessible. A hot breakfast served in the Great Room or on the deck will start your day of nearby activities or events. Or simply read a book on the back porch swing, take a stroll down a country lane, or watch the sun set and the stars appear while soaking in the hot tub.

Extra Customer Service

Peaceful and tranquil with grazing cattle in the background. A good local restaurant is only 2 miles away down a twisty country road. What else could you want? The highlight for me however was getting my little red sportscar unstuck after I backed over a partially submerged RR tie at the "Go Ahead Inn". Instead of looking behind me when I backed up I looked instead at the backup camera, wrong thing to do. Ed tried to pull us out but it was too much for his little ATV. AAA finally came out about an hour later and Ed stayed with us almost the whole time despite being in pain from an operation on his hand that morning. The breakfast the next morning was great. Love those crepes. I hope they let us come back after I left two little ruts in their grass?

Innkeeper Response
You are welcome to come back anytime. We are just happy that no damage was done to your beautiful little car!

A Beautiful and delicious getaway in the heart of Wild, Wonderful West Virginia.

We so much enjoyed our two-night stay at the Breath Of Heaven B & B in July 2018. Inn Keepers Geri and Ed Moser were above gracious, courteous, and very personable and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious and above our expectations, and the cofffee was amazing! My girlfriend and I are nature enthusiasts and we really enjoyed the wildlife and the walks around the many acres of their property. And the Hot Tub was just a nice bonus! We will definitely return and stay again. Thank you Geri and Ed.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for your kind review. We are glad you enjoyed the hot tub - we are looking into getting an updated one.

Very understanding couple

4.8 on July 29, 2018

We stayed here because we were in the area for a funeral. So we did not get to utilize the property the way we would have like. The couple was very understanding to our unique circumstances. Breakfast was outstanding, Would love to go back for a more relaxed visit. Great bathroom, bed very comfortable, the room itself was a little busy for my taste. (a lot of nick knacks, not much space to sit things of your own, but this is just a personal thing)

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your review, it is most appreciated. I just want others to know that things can be easily moved and we have empty drawers also for storage of our items or yours. We hope things have settled down for you and your family and still keep you all in thought and prayer.

Exceptional stay and breakfasts

5 on July 25, 2018

Geri and Ed were most accommodating hosts. After our initial reservation request, they promptly responded by inquiring about my food allergies, so I could eat a safe breakfast. My husband, our two babies, and I thoroughly enjoyed the outstanding breakfasts both mornings, including coffee, a variety of juices, fresh fruit, breakfast meat, and entrée. Geri and Ed served a vegetable and meat omelet one morning and apple pancakes with bacon the following morning; both entrees were five star restaurant breakfasts, plentiful, fresh, and definitely delicious. Our cottage room was very clean and comfortable. Towels were plentiful and freshly clean. The shower was clean and a perfect showerhead. Geri and Ed offered suggestions for places to eat and visit. We hope to visit again soon. Thank you.

It is really a piece of Heaven

My husband and I have stayed at Breath of Heaven at least 10 times. We love the views of the mountains and the quietness of the valley. Geri and Ed are great hosts. They go the extra mile to see that all of our needs are met. It's delightful to sit in the morning room and have one or Geri's great breakfasts.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your review. We always look forward to seeing you again. Have a great fall!

My wife and I stayed here for the second time this year. Went back to Petersburg for 40th high school reunion. The food was excellent! The room was fabulous! Won't stay anywhere else when we visit the area!

great little escape

My husband and I spent one night here for my birthday. The owners are Exceptional and great Service, food, etc! Our room was slightly outdated but still cute and cozy. Very clean, etc. I would recommend this B&B if you are in the area.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your review. Even though we try to stick to the room theme I took the outdated comment to heart and we have replaced the short red chest with a tall chest of drawers with top 3 empty drawers for guest items. Also have an updated flat screen larger TV that hangs on the wall. Plus we have added s single cup coffee maker to that particular room. Hope all is well with you.
