Comfortable Stay in South Seattle

4.6 on October 02, 2017

South Seattle is a great place to stay if visiting Seattle, Close to Seattle proper, but has a smaller town feel. Chittenden House is in a quiet but convenient neighborhood, and our stay was very pleasant. Would certainly return if we revisit Seattle.

Quaint, clean, and attention to detail

4.4 on September 07, 2017

We enjoyed our stay in the Jungle Room. It was clean--and the bathroom was awesome. The Chittenden's pay attention to detail, and have all the amenities you might need. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. Don't forget to spend time on the upper deck--its so beautiful.

So Cute!

Very friendly and kind staff. I have never stayed at a b&b before but will definitely do it again. I would highly recommend this place.

Cozy house for a weekend gateway

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the Jungle Room. The room and house were tidy. Service was great and the staff was very friendly, especially Misha the house dog. The location was convenient to Seattle proper and its attractions. We'd would surely consider this B&B on our next visit.

Fantastic service and comfort. We had the Evergreen Room which was perfect for our moving from Seattle - DC and trying to repack and load. We did arrive early, yet they were ready for us and graciously helped.

My 1st B&B experience

4.0 on May 10, 2017

This was my first B&B experience and it was absolutely delightful. The accommodations were fantastic. I stayed in the Castle Room with my cousin, Enjoyed the decor very much, it had a Victorian feel & look. All the rooms were clean as was the bathroom. Loved the big tub, taking a bath was luxurious! There was a great selection of books & games. The outside was a nice as the inside. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck as well as downstairs in the yard. The flowers, knick-knacks & seating arrangements were fun & interesting. The service was very good. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. I appreciated that Marcia asked about food allergies. I was delighted to meet Marcia's dog, Meiska. I have pets at home and seeing the friendly dog made me feel right at home. I would definitely recommend this B&B to my friends. I will use it again if I have the opportunity. Thank you, Karen S. Wines

Loved, loved, loved, the Chittenden House Bed and Breakfast. Marica was the host of host. The decorations and rooms where breath taking. We stayed in the Jungle room, believe me when I say that you will not have any issues falling asleep in the bed, the private bath was spacious and the claw foot bathtub set the mood. Breakfast was to die for! Very, very tasty, with an elegant setting. I am looking forward to my next stay at the Chittenden House Bed and Breakfast.

Weather was very cold, but the house was cozy, warm and cheerful. The food was excellent with many special touches. My daughter and I had a lovely stay. We will return and recommend Chittenden to our friends and family.
