Hosts Chris and Jennifer Wagner welcome you to Eld House, a one-bedroom luxury getaway located on the shore of Eld Inlet. This private, secluded retreat is located in the midst of old growth timber, 2.5 acres of manicured landscaping, a reflection pond, and a truly wonderful gravel beach. Whether you seek a quiet, romantic setting or adventure on the beach or water, this can be a day or week to relish. Kayaking, hiking, bicycling, and beach combing are very popular in this rural setting.

Stayed for three nights while attending a workshop near Shelton. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and the entire trip went smoothly as planned. I would like to come back when I have more time to relax, kayak and hike.

Just a delightful close getaway. Private & quiet. I like self-serve breakfast w/o having to convene somewhere during certain times.

Beautiful cozy cabin amidst the green forest with a view of the bay. Everything from the bed to the warm fire stove to the outdoor seating areas was beautiful!. Continental breakfast was healthy and fresh.

Cozy little cabin made for a great getaway with the wife. Beautiful view of the inlet from the bed. Great place for a romantic evening or two.

We looked this up through a stay-vacation site. The property was like a miniature log cabin home! Very cozy and the fireplace put amazing heat on a cool, rainy night.

It is a beautiful site. I wish we could have stayed longer and gone kayaking! It was quiet, charming and beautiful. The breakfast was continental, exactly as we expected. Lots of books to read! They gave us recommendations for eating. We especially loved Mediterranean Breeze in Olympia. Great Turkish fare. If we get back up this way, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

We chose to stay in Olympia as it was conveniently located between Olympic National Park, Mount Ranier, and Seattle, the places we wanted to visit. We couldn't have been more pleased with this B&B that we stumbled across on the internet. It was lovingly handcrafted by the owner, who hospitably welcomed us. We loved the views on the Puget Sound from this most charming log house. It's a little oasis amongst beautiful trees, yet so close to major thoroughfares. We only wish we had more time here. We would definitely come back!

This is my third time staying at the Eld House properties. This time I stayed in the Heron House and it was more than I expected. Nicely decorated, very clean and felt like a home away from home. They don't prepare breakfast but provide muffiins, fruit and assorted beverages for you to eat at your leisure.
