My new husband and I took advantage of the "Let's Run Away" elopement package. Everything was wonderful. Bob, Lisa and Lacey took great care of us. Our guests had a lovely time at the ceremony. The pictures of the inn do not do this place justice, the great room with it's crackling fireplace is absolutely gorgeous. Our room, The Stilly, was big, clean, bright and beautiful. The bed was super comfy as was the jetted tub! The food is fantastic, Lisa does an amazing job, and the portions were just the right size. I could get used to a 3 course dinner and 2 course breakfast everyday. We came all the way out from New Hampshire to get married at the River Rock Inn and it was most definitely worth the trip.

My husband and I stayed in the Fern suite. We checked in and were greeted at the door by a sweet girl, who gave us a tour and showed us to our room. Our suite was AMAZING!! The pictures do not do it justice; it’s even more beautiful, luxurious, and tranquil than the pictures make it seem. The bathroom was equally gorgeous. The great room was big and warm with a fireplace, several couches, and a mini fridge stocked with soft drinks and juices. There was also some candy bars. This is the perfect place to go if you just want to relax and do nothing. Unfortunately, at this time of year, there is not a lot to occupy you. Be aware that there is no cell phone reception at the inn; it would have been nice to know about that beforehand. Breakfast the next day was a huge letdown. All we got was a mini muffin, some cut up apples with yogurt, and some scrambled eggs. Even though I had mentioned that I hated onions, they put them in the eggs. For an upscale and pricy B&B, I expected a lot more. My husband and I left hungry. One other thing that bothered me was that we never even caught a glimpse of Bob and Lisa; I was really looking forward to meeting them. All in all, it's a beautiful place, but it reminds me more of a hotel than a B&B.

The River Rock Inn is located in a secluded area of Arlington and may be hard to find, but it certainly is a lovely site once you arrive. We were greeted by Bob and some comfy slippers at the front door! The bed was cushy and the amenities abound. We stayed in the Fern Room (the only ground floor guest room). It had a nice deck that led to the back open area. The only thing that could be improved is the noise that came from the heat pump just outside our window. That woke us up a few times during the night. We did enjoy the breakfast! It was delicious and the innkeepers, Bob and Lisa, tended to our every need. They were quite warm and friendly and their hospitality is unsurpassed. We left feeling refreshed and welcome.

Bob and Lisa are fantastic! This was our second trip to their home. My wife and I decided to have dinner at the River Rock on this trip which was an amazing four course dinner prepared and served by Bob and Lisa. The wormth and kindness of Bob and Lisa is equalled by the atmosphere that they have created in each of the private rooms and the main room down stairs where breakfast and dinner was served. Signs of nature and relaxation court your soul and brings you back to a place of tranquility that you will thoroughly enjoy!

This B&B/Inn is on the top of our list of favorites, greatly due to the location and the very fun hosts and staff. The Inn is breathtaking and beautiful, so peaceful and serene - almost like being in a "dream" world. You can take walks, soak in the jacuzzi or hot tub, read, play games, watch movies, drive to the nice community of Arlington and other nearby attractions - lots to do - or not if you just want to relax and get away from your busy life. Bob and Lisa provide amazing meals that are organic and delicious - hard to beat! Everything is the best and we can't wait to stay again if only for longer.

What a great place. Rooms were clean and quiet. The hosts were warm and friendly. They gave a great recommendation for dinner. The 3 course breakfasts were excellent and filling and we were in a central location so that we could catch a ferry to the San Juans, Port Townsend, go Mt. Rainier, or shop until our feet fell off. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Thanks Bob and Lisa for a great stay.

Lisa and Bob are Fabulous Hosts! There House is impeccable and no detail is overlooked so that you have a great stay! It was a great escape to come out here and while pulling into the driveway my thoughts were of peace and serenity! I stayed in the Stilly Room and soaked in the air tub for an hour, the peaceful outlook to the yard and beyond was soothing.Breakfast was wonderful as I am a light eater and Lisa made a perfect breakfast, she even sat and chatted with me which was awesome. The house is beyonf stunning. Bob even gave me some eggs fresh from there chickens to take with me on my journey to visit a friend in La-Conner which is 1/2 an hour NW. I had refreshments from there mini bar stocked with non alcohlic drinks and snacks. I will be back, Blessings, Josh

We have stayed at the River Rock Inn a couple of times. Bob and Lisa are great hosts and even better cooks! The rooms are wonderful and spacious. My wife and I had massages and facials (my first), which really rounded out the stay to be a nice getaway. We wandered through the forest along their trails. We missed the waterfall (good excise to visit again!). We also should have tried one of their dinners, although the Bistro in Arlington was even better than they said it would be. The Inn is off the beaten track, but close to so many attractions and parks. We can't wait to get back their again for another few days away!

An incredible stay!! You will LOVE this inn! We had a suite with the air jetted tub for two! It was great! The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. We also had a massage and a facial in the spa room. The hot stone massage was the best I have ever had! We spent our day hiking on the trails and reading on our balcony. The food was the best food we have ever had at a B&B. Lisa uses organic ingredients and everything was fresh! We hated to leave but it is nice to know that they are only an hour from our house in Seattle. So next time we need a getaway...we will be at the River Rock.
