My friend and I stayed here for three nights in April. I stayed in the Garden Room. It was relaxing, sweetly decorated, and had lots of extras like a flat screen tv, micro, small fridge and tea/coffee supplies. I couldn't get over how comfortable the bed was--I slept great! The house is lovely, spacious and has various places both in and out to sit and visit. Lori was a great hostess and we did an unforgettable wine tour with her. I didn't know much about wine up until then, so it was an educational experience for me. She is very knowledgeable. Lori also caters to exactly what your likes are (she even took us to a few unique shopping destinations!) Her country breakfast was fantastic and lasted me the whole 5 1/2 hour drive home! We hated to leave. It was the best B and B I have ever been to!

I travel for work, so I get to stay in many different locations. Upon arriving to town I found out that my reservations I had mistakenly made for the following weekend at a different B&B. I was recommended to Lori by her friend Lori Kennedy at Don Carlos winery (I would recommend going there!), and she was so welcoming, and able to make accomodations for me last minute. She is by far the most gracious host I have ever met, she is fun, warm, friendly, and a great cook. The best part about this experiernce- aside from the property being extremely clean, and very comfortable beds etc. was Lori's extensive knowledge of all of the wineries, wine makers, and local restaurants. I did not get the pleasure of taking her wine tour since I was there on business- but did get to taste on my own with some of her recommendations. Everyone in town knows and loves her- and if you mention you are staying with her you get Lori Fischer perks all over town. I feel so blessed to have made an error in my reservations, as I think my stay far exceeded my expectations. I will be letting everyone I know about this place- and gracious host! Thanks Lori for such an enjoyable experience!

My sweetie and I needed to escape Seattle for some sun and found much more. The Fischer House was welcoming, comfortable and quiet. Lori and her husband Dennis are wonderful hosts. Lori's extensive knowledge of the area and wineries added another dimension to our weekend. We went on a wine tour and were treated to a fun day with access to barrel tastings and wineries which would have been unavailable to us on our own. The breakfasts were delicious....the home extremely clean....and all our needs anticipated. We stayed for 3 nights and will be visiting here again.

My fiancee and I stayed at the Fischer House in October 2009. It is outstanding! Lori is the most gracious host I have ever met. And, she is fun!! On our tour, she was packed in as many wineries as possible. She is VERY knowledgable on the wineries, fees, and winemakers. We sat back and just enjoyed every minute. At the residence, she served us breakfast every morning. As you view the establishment, you realize that she's invested A LOT into ensuring each guest is comfortable and has their needs met. The bedrooms are wonderfully decorated. She has the little things like night lights and warm robes. Its pleasant. My fiancee and I will return to the Fischer house on our next trip to Walla Walla. Thanks Lori:)

lovely rooms, highest quality linens, thoughtful extras, and generous hospitality. Great to be within walking distance of downtown (no worries about driving home after in-town wine tastings!). Enjoyed the fresh fruit with continental breakfast.

We stayed in the Master Suite at the Fischer House for 3 nights. The room was perfect. We also got to see the other rooms, which are slightly smaller but are beautifully decorated. The Fischer House is located close to town so Lori took us on a foot tour to see the lovely homes built in the early 1900's, the beautiful campus at Whitman University and all the fun shops downtown. We spent the second day touring the wineries in Lori's "Cabernet Cab". Lori took us to about 10 different wineries where we were treated to wine tasting and a nice lunch. Lori is a fabulous host and she's very knowledgeable about the Walla Walla area. I highly recommend her B&B.
