We were only able to stay here one night because of other things going on with our schedule. But I can only hope we will be able to come back again for a longer stay. The B&B is everything you think it is going to be and more. The accommodations are superb, they have thought of everything and then more. The food is great make sure to have dinner there. Each morning if you would like you are awakened with a knock on your door and a fresh pastry and beverage is delivered to tide you over until you have breakfast. But I would be remiss not to mention your host and hostess. What a wonderful couple eager to take care of your every wish without hovering over you. Thanks again for a wonderful short but outstanding stay
Thank you for taking the time to post your flattering review. We try hard for every guest to have your kind of experience.

Those are strong words about being the best. Frankly we don't necessarily work at competing with other B&Bs directly, we just try to be the best we can be.

We have stayed at Cameo Heights twice now, and will be staying again in early December. Beautiful setting; the rooms are amazing and its so nice to be able to dine at the Vine without having to drive. Dinner was wonderful as was breakfast. A movie room, and a pool. Who could ask for more? Highly recommend it!
Our isolated location makes on-site dining very attractive. Fortunately we have the best chef this side of Dodge. So guests not only don't want to go anywhere else but guests staying at other places in town, for whatever reason, are often driving to The Vine at Cameo Heights Mansion just for dinner.

We are so lucky to live a short drive away. The rooms are beautiful! We still haven't gotten to stay in the Spanish room, but someday we will! The service is splendid! I loved making s'mores! The hot tub is relaxing! The view is unbelievably stunning! The innkeepers are wonderful! My advice: arrive at check in, stay until checkout, and stay at least two nights :)

They have thought of everything to make your experience the most relaxing, romantic and memorable experience you will ever have. It is a stunning mansion and the views, food and ambiance are unlike anything else I have experienced visiting a bed and breakfast. You won't be disappointed!
Through guest evaluations that we invite, it is you, the guests, who have told us everything to make your experience most memorable. We just listen well.

Loved our stay at Cameo Heights, was our first time at a bed and breakfast and Cameo definitely exceeded our expectations! Enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Vine as well. Can't wait to go back someday! If you're looking for a romantic getaway or just want to relax this is the place for you!
Rest, relaxation, great food, with a splatter of romance. Can't beat it.

Cameo Heights Mansion is by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The owners are wonderful and added to our stay with special touches. We look forward to staying there again. We had the French Suite and the room was beautifully appointed and included a huge jetted tub. We ate at the onsite restaurant The Vine - food is excellent. I would recommend this B&B to anyone. One note, this is not a place for children. Couples come here for romantic stays and children would definitely not fit into the environment.
Please note. The guests mentioned the huge tub. All tubs at Cameo Heights Mansion are two person tubs. Because of the shape of the French, pictures give the impression it is not big enough for two. IT IS! It is a beautiful claw-footed tub with a high back on one end. And all tubs at Cameo Heights Mansion are air-jetted.

2 breakfasts and one dinner, all 5 star. Nice walk in the orchards, nice pool area and wonderful views everywhere. Many nice little touches you wouldn't have expected. A very enjoyable 2 night stay. We took lots of pictures. We will be back.
Loved your remarks, but, and this might surprise you, we regretted your rating. You see, we are never content with a 4 star rating as some establishments might be. Nothing about what we are trying to do is ever realized with just a “Very Good” rating. We definitely strive for “Excellence” in every aspect. Could it simply be because that you never rank 5 star because that is perfection and perfection is impossible? If that is the case, may I share the words of Vince Lombardi, the Green Bay Packer football coach, who was prone to say to his players, "Attaining perfection may be impossible, but if we tenaciously strive for it, we will encounter excellence along the way." That certainly describes our mission. Though we may never be perfect, we will relentlessly strive for the excellence of 5 star ratings. We invite you to call us and tell us where we may have fallen short because we really care about providing you with a perfect stay next time.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Cameo Heights Mansion. The service and amenities are wonderful, and they really do pay attention to every detail. Dinner at The Vine was delicious and one of the best meals we have eaten. We will definitely recommend it to family and friends and return ourselves in the future.
It is gratifying that people comment on our attention to detail as that is our focus with our staff here at Cameo Heights Mansion, to meet every detail that our guests need for a wonderful stay. We look forward to your return and are happy to spoil any guests you send our way!

The grounds and interior were beautiful but the food took the prize! Alan was such a great host, playing a mean game of ping pong! The staff was accommodating with every need and anticipated our every desire! We stayed with several other couples and we became obsessed with "finding the romance" in our rooms!! For those that decide to check the reviews for any clues in finding the romance....it's an actual object, you need to use a flashlight, and when you've checked the most obvious place, go back again! Highly recommend this B&B, you will not be disappointed!!
I do enjoy playing some ping pong with guests occasionally. Ping pong is just one of several activities couples can do to enjoy each other's company for a few days.

The suites, common areas, amenities, pool area, surrounding scenery were all exquisite. The air jetted bathtub, oversized shower and beautiful marble of the Italian suite made this bathroom unforgettable. The restaurant food and service is absolutely five star all the way. We can hardly wait to go back again in four months!
Glad to hear you won't be forgetting us! Don't wait too long. Long waits are not good for either of us.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. You thought of every detail.
The perfect stay is all in the details. With each guest's help over the years, it has been easy to learn the details. But implementing them, is another story. Comments such as these help us judge how well we are doing.

Our night at Cameo Heights was an unexpected getaway, provided by our daughter who had stayed here previously. She wanted us to enjoy it as much as she had. It was delightful from the first warm greeting and tour by staff, to our final goodbye from the owner. We took advantage of many fun and relaxing options for the evening including a walk through the surrounding orchards, relaxing by the pool, hot tub, fire pit with s'mores, theatre room and of course our beautiful, enormous room. The amazing comfortable bed was hard to get out of the next morning, but the delicious breakfast made up for it. Next time we will have to come early and enjoy dinner there also. At every turn there was an unexpected nicety for our enjoyment. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Our guests do the nicest reviews. Thank you for sharing.

The food and service was amazing. The breakfast was a over the top and loved every minute there.
There is nothing else of equal value to great food and service. But possibly some luxurious appointments, romantic atmosphere, and great activities helps. I trust you found that as well.

Innkeepers were wonderful and our stay had a personal touch. from handwritten notes to gift boxes and chocolates. I would stay here again in a minute.
Thanks for commenting upon the personal touch. We focus upon finding ways to make each guest feel special. Looking forward to next visit "in a minute."

We experienced the best weekend at a b&b .
Simply spoken. A few small words for you, a giant review for all the curious tourists.

Who would expect to find such a gem in the rolling hills of southeast Washington? My husband and I were expecting a nice place to stay, but we were totally immersed in the most luxurious and romantic experience of our lives! The attention to detail is above and beyond in every way - the 'place' itself is unbelievably beautiful and so well-appointed and maintained. There are so many little 'extras' and it's obvious that the hosts, Alan and Deanne, love what they do and have spent countless hours planning every detail. Chef Nathan, in the beautiful Vine restaurant, provided a prix fixe dining experience unlike any other we've ever had (and we partake of that type of dining whenever we visit a restaurant which offers one.) We are so fortunate to have found Cameo Heights and hope to return very soon, and frequently!
How sweet of you to post such a gushing review of your experience at Cameo Heights Mansion. Yes we do love what we do and we do spend many hours each day trying to perfect the whole guest experience. Thank you for your gracious review.

Surprised my wife with a stay at Cameo on our way back to Boise from Yakima. What a great experience we can't wait to come back in August for our 9yr. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Dinner was perfect I can't imagine staying here without making reservations.
It is a big mistake to stay here and not have dinner here. You will drive many miles and not find as good a food as would have been served you at The Vine. May I suggest you have dinner the first night--then you will want it the second night. If you wait till the second night, you will punish yourself for not having it here both nights!

My wife Sharon and I celebrated the 28th anniversay of our wedding proposal at Cameo Heights. We could not have picked a better place to celebrate. The wondrous setting is matched by the superb service and the fabulous cuisine. Alan and Deanne were delightful hosts.
No better place to celebrate, superb service, and fabulous cuisine! What else is there?

Everything about our stay at Cameo Heights Mansion was exceptional as always. This time we stayed in the French Room. Loved waking up to the view it provides. It was so nice to get to visit with the Alan and the staff again. The food again was phenominal. The only thing about our stay that we didn't like was that it was too short. We can't wait to go back and spend two nights to enjoy all the amenities that it provides. Thank you Alan and Deanne for providing such an amazing romantic retreat.
What can I say? STAY MORE THAN ONE NIGHT! There I said it. A most common regret is that they only booked one night. Thanks for giving people a heads up. There is enough to do here that spending one night cheats you out of too much of it. Thanks for the review.
5 on January 21, 2016
We stayed in the German room, and I would definitely recommend it! It is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in during my entire life, the softest sheets and an amazing bathroom. And I really appreciate that the detergents they use are hypoallergenic/unscented, as I have allergies to some fragrances and have had to leave hotels I already paid for in the past because of it.
We are grateful for your 5 star review. We tried to buy the best beds money could buy (after all, it is a "Bed" and Breakfast) and we get it about using "unscented" products. Thanks for sharing your experience.
5 on January 11, 2016
I would recommend this one to anyone the stay was awesome and the vine restaurant there was amazing will be going back again soon.
We needed to hear your review. Our future guests needed to read it. We occasionally have guests staying here who choose to never dine with us. That is fine. We invite them but we do not pressure our guests. If they would like to drive to town for dinner each night, so be it. But if the reasons they choose to do that is because they think that they must drive to town to find the best food...well, that is where your review is most helpful.

One of favorite places to stay, we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Dinner was delicious as usual.
Great! We hope to always be your anniversary/birthday inn. Of course, you can also visit us for any number of other romantic occasions as well.

We stayed at Cameo Heights Mansion in December 2015. We have eaten in many of the major cities (Boston, Budapest, Dublin, Durham, Florence, Istanbul, Izmir, Prague, Paris, Rome, San Francisco, Seattle, New York and Quito come to mind easily): I do not recall ever having had a better dinner. We had seven spectacular (taste, texture and presentation) courses, and walked out not feeling "stuffed." The breakfast was equally delightful. Staff are warm, friendly, engaged and interesting. The entire facility and experience were five star.
I was so pleased with this review that I have shared it with several guests inquiring about dinner. Those were some pretty spectacular superlatives you used here. Providing a dinner that meets your description is quite a feat. We are grateful that Chef Carlson does it night after night.
5 on November 16, 2015
Perfect from start to finish. My room had a spectacular view of the pool and valley. Morning coffee service with a warm freshly made Danish was a great way to start the day. I liked the idea of choices at breakfast. After dining at the Vine both nights, I could then choose a lighter breakfast if I wanted. At Cameo Heights they really do try to think if everything. It is evident that they want every guest to gave a 5 star experience. Comfortable beds, luxurious linens, hand made bath salts, rain fall shower, jetted tub, fireplace, flatscreen, great wifi....this room had everything. This is one if our favorite spots for a long leisurely weekend. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
I love it when you say "perfect." That is our goal. Thank you for sharing your 5 star experience.

We couldn't agree with you more. We sincerely hope you do not wait or procrastinate your next visit. Thanks for posting a 5 star review.

Cameo Heights Mansion is the best and most luxurious romantic place we have stayed. The rooms are designed with intentional thoughtfulness for couples. While there are plenty of activities to do and beautiful grounds to do them in, my wife and I stayed only one night and was perfectly contented to stay in our room. If you are looking for a night or two away from the kids, you will not be disappointed with Cameo Heights. You get everything you pay for!!!!!
We are most grateful for your comment that you "get everything you pay for." We aim that your stay with us will always be a good value and exceed all expectations.

The Greek Room was wonderful - our own world! We enjoyed dining at the Vine more than the restaurants we visited in the Newberg, OR area!
We are excited that our restaurant exceeded your dining experience in Newburg, Oregon, a place noted for fine dining.

This was our 2nd stay at Cameo Heights while exploring the Walla Walla and Red Mountain wine regions. Cameo Heights has proven to be the perfect base for our relaxing annual excursion.
Active people need a relaxing base for the evening. So whether you visit Cameo Heights as a base for your adventurous life style or you come to Cameo Heights Mansion as a peaceful and intriguing destination on its own--either way works well for us and our guests, depending upon their needs and expectations.

Cameo Heights Mansion is an outstanding place to stay. My wife and I have stayed there 3 times in the last year. The Vine restaurant is outstanding. Always a great meal
"Always" is a word we don't take lightly. That is our goal. Always a perfect experience for each guest, every time.
5 on September 26, 2015
This is a truly fantastic place. Every detail is thought of and included. I can't wait to go back and do the wine tour too
Like you, many guests compliment us on the details. Let me explain why. We have always asked our guests when they depart, "What can we do to improve?" We have and do take careful notes of any suggestions. Those suggestions are discussed by staff and we make plans to incorporate those that are feasible immediately. Others may be delayed for budgetary reasons but eventually most get incorporated into the features and experiences future guests will enjoy. Thus we smile when guests tell us that "You have thought of everything." It is the guests who have thought of it. We merely make a point of implementing guest suggestions!

We spent two nights here and all aspects of our stay was wonderful. We will certainly recommend.
We are grateful that you had a visit for two nights. Taking an extra night sure contributes to having a rejuvenating and refreshing experience. Please recommend to all friends and we are especially grataeful you took time to recommend us on the internet.

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Mansion !! Every detail was amazing, they have thought of everything to make your stay a one of a kind experience. Cannot express how wonderful the staff is at making you feel so welcome and as if you were part of their family. Dining was fantastic with the same attention to detail during the amazing dinner ! Will look forward to our next visit.
The idiom "The Devil is in the Details" implies that there is a catch in the details. We are happy to report that a very high percent of our guests, like you, rave about the details. There is no "catch." We actually aim to exceed each of your expectations.

We absolutely loved it. It's an amazing expercience, the room is stunning, with a very comfortable bed ( German room). The location is nice and open. The staff is very helpful and kind, they will do that extra step' if needed. The dinner with personal chef, Nathan is a must! It is worth it in ever way, it was an absolute highlight.
We are gratified that you were pleased. Nothing is more sought after than total guest satisfaction.

We stay at Cameo Heights every time we go to Walla Walla. We have never been disappointed. The service is amazing, the staff is fun and caters to your every need. The food....oh the food. It can't be beat. This is truly a "5 star" experience and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to that area.
Surely the exceptional dining experience at The Vine is an essential feature of creating a "5 Star Experience". Thanks for the recommendation.

You get what you pay for at cameo heights. It is expensive but they have thought of little things to help you relax and enjoy your stay. Roses, pastries, "romance", the little things make it special :)

What an amazing place to stay....very romantic!

Cameo Heights Mansion is unlike any B&B we have experienced. We stayed in the Spanish Suite which allowed for private access to the pool. It is quite spacious and the large tub with spa-like features is wonderful. The early morning coffee and warm danish delivered to your door is the perfect start to anyone's day. We stayed on a Sunday night when the restaurant is closed but a basket dinner can be ordered. The service is impeccable and every need, no matter how small, is attended to. Truly an extraordinary get -away for romantic couples.
Oh my gosh. We loved your review. We were thrilled to have you share with others about the amenities and services at The Mansion. Impeccable is a beautiful word especially when applied to service. We area humbled and gratified by your kind expression.
5 on August 23, 2015
It is truly an oasis for couples who are looking for a romantic getaway. Every detail has been attended to and their main goal is to make your stay as happy as possible. Service is impeccable and the early morning coffee with a fresh Danish is a perfect way to start anyone's day. Truly an exceptional find.
Great service, attention to details. happy and contented guests, and fresh Danish all contribute to create the perfect Romantic Getaway. Thank you for sharing.

We recently stayed in the Italian Suite for one night after our wedding weekend. It was a Sunday so the restaurant wasn't open but we opted for the 'basket dinner' option and the food was just delicious! We loved the optional coffee and Danish delivery in the morning and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed the charm of the grand kids serving us in the morning out on the patio! Definitely would recommend to friends and look forward to staying in some of the other rooms in the future!
We wish all guests could enjoy the pleasures of our evening dining at The Vine. But it is only open Tuesday - Saturday. Thus is the need for the 'basket dinner' option on Sunday and Monday nights. We are pleased to have you report how much you enjoyed it the alternative dinner option. Guests often wonder and ask what it will be like. Nothing tells the story as well as a guest who just experienced it.
4.8 on August 18, 2015
Loved the English Tudor suite, the view, the peacefulness, the private theatre, and the fabulous food at The Vine Restaurant. Their attention to detail was out of this world!
Peace, tranquility, theater, dining, attention to detail == Great Romance.

We enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer!
If we were able to control it, we would have all guests stay a minimum of two nights and three would be better. One day is too little to appreciate the amenities, luxury, great dining, and the rejuvenating peace of The Mansion. We invite you to plan for at least two nights on your next visit.

When traveling to Walla Walla, which we do 2 or 3 times a year, we typically stay at a B&B in Walla Walla. This time we stayed at Cameo Heights. What a beautiful property! The dining was wonderful too! From the movie room to the pool, and everything in between, we will be back.
Wonderful! We will look forward to your next visit. Please share your experience with a friend, better yet, bring some friends with you when you return!

We had a wonderful time relaxing at the mansion. Love the movie room, pool area, and the detail that makes the place what it is. Definitely need to plan fo meals when the restaurant isn't open since there is nothing close.
Great review. You mind if we ask, what prompted the 3.8 overall rating. You give no indication of any thing negative other than distance from town. I am left wondering if you just mean to say, "Nothing deserves a 5 star rating." Nonetheless, nothing short of that will ever satisfy us as owners. We aim for a perect stay in every stay, however impossible that might be. Typically price might be the offending consideration, but price is closely related to value. If you are disappointed by the price, we can do little about that. But if disatisfied about any quality considerations of your stay, then we are quick to offer you our personal guarantee of satisfaction. Your satisfaction is always more important than our income from your stay. Mind you, we need income but satisfied guests willl always be the key to our financial success. That is our promise.

We spent 3 glorious days relaxing and enjoying the Cameo Heights Mansion. We stayed in the Spanish room. It was great to take our morning pastry tray out the French doors onto the patio to enjoy the beautiful weather. Our dinner at the vine was delicious with excellent wine pairings. We enjoyed playing horseshoes, ping pong, watching a movie in the theatre room and making s'mores by the pool. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. I am so glad we stayed for 3 days, 1 wouldn't have been enough to enjoy all the amenities.
We have always encouraged guests to stay longer to enjoy themselves more. Somehow your saying it is more effective. Thankk our for your review.

This place lives up to its billing and more. The owners are on site with staff and are some of the nicest folks you will ever meet. The property is as good as the pictures and better. Us and six other couples booked all seven rooms and unanimously stated we should have stayed more than one night and promise to do so next year when we get together again.
Cameo Heights Mansion is a great place for group stays. We can accomodate seven couples.

We have lived 30 minutes from the Mansion for a long time. Several of our friends had been and we had never taken the opportunity to sneak away. It was more than we hoped for and provided a wonderful weekend getaway!
Not surprisingly, most of our guests are other locals who have already made the same discovery you just made. We hope you will make a staycation with us your regular getaway.

One detail I missed was to thank you for your review until rather belatedly. I have now done that!

Greek room was stunning and huge. Very worth the money. Saw some other rooms and was happy we'd picked that one. Dining experience was exemplary although you are somewhat of a "captive audience" if you don't want to drive too far for dinner. Included breakfast was very good as well. Perfect for an intimate getaway, anniversary, honeymoon. Would like to try it in the summer when we could partake of the lovely pool/hot tub.
My wife and I have been on several ocean cruise liners and we were of course, kind of like a "captive audience" but I wouldn't describe my luxurious experience that way. It was the highlight of our cruise, "captive or otherwise." The majority of our guests seem to agree. On the other hand, it is a modest 25 miles drive to some other gourmet dining in Walla Walla.

We just got back from a wonderful and relaxing weekend at the Cameo Heights Mansion. It was totally by accident that I stumbled across some reviews for this Bed & Breakfast, and we decided to give it a try. From the moment we walked into the front door to check in until the time we checked out, we were pampered and cared for with smiles and friendliness. Each room had its own unique features, and everything had been thought of to try to make our stay more comfortable than being at home. If there was something that hadn’t been thought of, all we had to do is mention it to Alan or Deanna and we knew that it would be taken care of. We found the food to be delicious when we had dinner at the The Vine, as well as the breakfast that was prepared each morning. We highly recommend Cameo Heights and plan to return there as soon as we can.
In your case, accidents are good. We trust next time you will come by design!

We absolutely loved our romantic getaway at Cameo Heights. We expected the mansion to be nice but we were blown away once we got there and toured it. Our room was absolutely fabulous, the food and service was top notch! I seriously didn't want to go home!! We will be back for sure and are recommending Cameo Heights to everyone we know! We felt like part of the family while we were there, you are a hidden gem indeed!!!!
We are pleased to read your comments about being part of the family. Somehow nothing is more rewarding that making you feel very comfortable in your home away from home.

We held a work staff meeting at Cameo. Everything was wonderful, from the rooms, food, staff, and total experience. As always, we had a wonderful time and will definitely come back again!
For an small corporate retreat of 10 or less, sometimes more, I doubt any are more able to provide for a most intimate and creative experience.

My wife and I stayed in the Spanish room for two nights while visiting Walla Walla. Had we fully understood the mansion's offering, we would have cleared the schedule to fully enjoy everything this B&B has to offer. You can easily fill your time with the Romance bingo card you receive upon check-in -- watching movies, walking through vinyards, playing ping-pong, eating gourmet cuisine, or relaxing in a hot tub under the stars. Do yourself a favor and book now, but don't plan anything anywhere else between check-in and check-out. Thanks for the great stay.
We were glad to read your comments about there being plenty to do and occupy yourself with all the time you stay at the Mansion. We aim to be your destination getaway and provide everything you need even if you choose to never leave the Mansion for however many days you may choose to stay.

Many Bed and Breakfasts do not offer on-site dining. We try to provide a destination experience where excellent dining is very critical component in our resort style offering.

My husband and I stayed in the French suite, dining in suite for dinner. Our room was gorgeous and impeccably clean. Every facet of the room portrayed luxury, comfort and romance from the 600 thread count sheets, to the red rose left by the bedside table. Dinner was amazing. Chef Nathan creates food second to none both in taste and presentation and despite dining in our suite, our server's timing on serving courses was perfect. The jetted tub was a highlight of the evening, but we also took advantage of Cameo's fun BINGO style game (CAMEO) and filled out our boxes getting to know the many amenities of the mansion, including a game of horseshoes (my husband won), a game of tetherball (my husband won) and a game of pingpong (my husband won!) I think we need a trip back so I can defend my honor. Wake-up service was yummy and breakfast in the dining room was another excellent meal. We would definitely recommend Cameo Heights for a romantic getaway and we plan to go back in the near future for a longer stay.
Good luck next time in your games but there is no competition in romance, only fun. It is surprising how competitve some can become. I sometimes play ping pong with guests, and though I don't throw any games, I still only play for fun. If I win, great, lose, well that is great also. In fact, a loss is often more stimulating than a win.

I was skeptical about going. It was a lot of money for just a room to stay in for a couple of nights, but my wife really wanted to go. It was super impressive even for me. We had the times of our lives. Everyone is friendly, the mansion is gorgeous and there is plenty of fun things to do. I would recommend it to anyone.
Glad you didn't let the price keep you from the experience. Good things are usually cheap.

We actually aim to surpass. We are never content with just meeting your expectations. A good rate hotel can do that. We go for the "Wow" factor!

We struggled, and literally could not come up with any complaints. Probably the most relaxing getaway we've ever had
Wow! We are pleased to have driven out any need to complain!

Had a pleasant stay - nice room, friendly welcome, beautiful setting. Think it may not have been their best effort. Worth trying again. It was a good stay, but was hoping for more, especially in the restaurant.
We are so sorry to read of your disappointment. Please feel free to call us and discuss the particulars. We literally mean it when we say we guarantee your satisfaction and we aim for your delight. In your case, we need to come to bat again. Sounds like we struck out the first time at bat.

If you are in the Walla Walla area, this is a MUST place to stay. Alan and Deanne are the best hosts, going way out of there way to make the guests happy. Rooms are beautiful, great views, very comfortable. Dinner at the house was a 10+, very intimate. Highly recommend.
So grateful to read your review and recommendation.

Celebrating our 20th Anniversary at Cameo Heights was a wonderful experience! The house itself is elegant and the rooms are uniquely special with each one having a different feel to it. We were able to see all of the rooms arriving early and we liked each one for different reasons. The surroundings at Christmas time were beautiful with lights outside and beautiful festive decorations inside. Our room was decorated beautifully- we loved it. All of the staff and especially Alan and Deanne were welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. You can see a lot of hard work has been put into making this a premier Bed and Breakfast. Our dinner at the Vine was amazing with Chef Nathan! Truly one of the best meals and experiences we've ever had. Not only was the food amazing, the presentation, ambiance and experience of having Nathan right there cooking and talking to us was excellent. We have found our favorite restaurant:) Breakfast was also a wonderful and artistic experience. We highly recommend Cameo Heights Bed and Breakfast and The Vine Restaurant:)
We are very grateful for your kind review. Christmas time is a magical time at the Mansion. We go all out to create a winter wonderland of landscaped lighting. We want a winter stay to be even more delightful than a summer time stay.

I was pleasantly surprised how close this little charmer was to the tri cities area. The beauty of this location is that you get a lovely eyeful with each turning season. Can't wait to return for our anniversary in June!

My husband and I had occasion to visit Cameo Heights Mansion in November of this year and we had a great experience! I was in town for a meeting and we decided to indulge in a stay at Cameo Heights, luxuriating in the surroundings and lush appointments. We even had the opportunity to take advantage of the Wine Tour offered by the staff there and couldn't have had a more enjoyable experience. My only regret is missing Chef Nathan's cooking, which I hear is amazing! The space is perfect for a small business retreat and I would absolutely recommend it.

A wonderful place to go with your lover "husband, boyfriend, or really close friend." This place is an awsome inspiring place to have a romatic get away. Life is to short and the price may be high to some people, but it is all worth it. and the romance will spark the life of love. Go and enjoy your stay.

We found this B&B through a brochure for uniqueinns.com.We decided to stay here with another couple and visit the Walla Walla wineries. The mansion is amazing to behold. The owners have thought of absolutely everything one could possibly need/want for an over-the-top yet comfortable stay. The grounds of the mansion are beautiful, complete with a wonderful hot tub/spa and swimming pool (although since our stay was at the end of Oct. the pool was closed). The rooms are decorated sumptuously but are quite comfortable. I especially loved the walk-in shower in the Greek room, complete with two shower heads, one being a rain shower. I have never been fond of B&Bs because I always felt like I was "intruding" in someone's home. But, even though this is the owners' home, I never felt like I was intruding--I felt more like I lived here! We watched movies in the media/home theater room downstairs, snacked on free snacks, popped popcorn in the "old-fashioned" popcorn maker, used our tokens (2 each per day) for soda and ice cream, soaked in the hot tub, and played an uproarious game of ping pong. We even were able to take a walk in the apple orchards to gather a few apples--yum! The only downside was we were there on a Sunday/Monday night so were unable to dine at the Vine--it's closed those 2 nights. However, the complimentary breakfasts were out-of-this-world good. And the "wake-up" pastries and coffee every morning were divine. Please, stay here. You won't be disappointed. Even in October, the "down season," we had one beautiful sunny day and even on the cloudy day, we still enjoyed the hot tub. And, we practically had the mansion to ourselves on Sunday/Monday nights. “We stayed upstairs on the second level and the rooms were very quiet. I'm not sure how quiet the downstairs rooms near the media room, communal kitchen for snacks, and ping pong table would be.”

This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast so we didn't know what to expect. The Cameo Heights Mansion was so beautiful! Everything about our stay was perfect!
5 on October 25, 2014
We walked inside and were met by a very knowledgeable and friendly person name Jose. She poured us a fantastic glass of tasty apple cider. We completed our check in and proceeded on a tour of the mansion and the grounds. What a beautiful setting for a romantic getaway. We walked into our room and it was all we had hoped for - clean, bright, spacious, and inviting. We ate dinner at the Vine and it was amazing. The atmosphere was warm, romantic and quiet. The chef and wait staff were friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding! The next morning's breakfast was another fantastic meal, wishing we could stay more nights. If bed and breakfasts were an olympic event, you would score all 10s! Well done Cameo Heights!!

Fantastic B&B. Can't think of a bad thing to say about a gret place.

We are regulars of B&Bs and have had many gorgeous and amazing experiences. Needless to say finding this gem may have ruined future experiences!! I'm not sure there will ever be another B&B that can measure up to the standard of Cameo Heights!! The home is breathtaking. Ginormous buy it doesn't feel that way. So comfortable and inviting. The rooms (we stayed in German) are beyond expectations. But the FOOD. Ahhh the good, quite easily the best gourmet food I've ever eaten. And I've been to some pretty amazing places!!! We cannot wait to go back!! I would like to see them offer more activities. Maybe some cooking classes, a pair of bicycles to go exploring, maybe a guided wine tour of all the amazing wineries in the near area.
Thank you for a great review. We actually do guided wine tours. We have a stretched 1989 Cadillac limo and enjoy taking guests on wine tours in primarily Walla Walla. We have wonderful trails for hiking and exploring but they because of some of the slopes and gravel, they may not lend themselves to well to bicycles. I used to send guests down the Walla Walla river but they kept swamping the canoe so I got scared to do that anymore. I guess I worry that they will get hurt on the bikes. But we invite all to walk through 400 acres of orchard and vineyard. staying mostly on the periphery roads.

We stayed at Cameo heights only for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I can't say enough about the exceptional services and quality of the entire property! We payed extra to arrive early and to leave late and it was well worth it! The food is a step above!!!! I didn't know we had such amazing food so close to home. We dined at The Vine the night of our stay and it was such an amazing experience! We savored every bite and the chef was so accomodating to our food preferences! Breakfast was also amazing, and was prepared by the owner!! I honestly can't say enough about the short stay that we had. We will definitely return!!!! Thank you!!!!!

We've have stayed at Cameo 2 times now and will continue to stay for every anniversary. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable, and the dining is just divine! I honestly have nothing negative to say of this place, from the service to the activities, everything exceeds our expectations everytime.
Thanks for the very positive review. You have given us 5 stars for all except for service and value, yet you graciously praised the service and essentially ranked the value as 5 star when you said "everything exceeded our expectations" in your comments. Since we are keen about being totally 5 star, what would we need to adjust to reach a solid 5 stars ranking or is it just an instance where you feel you just can't give a perfect score?
5 on September 29, 2014
The location is awesome. We toured the back roads of the surrounding area and felt as if we were in another time. The mansion was very comfortable. The owners have thought of everything. From movies to ping pong to s'mores, a person would find it difficult to get bored there. And I don't think I've ever stayed at a place that was so perfectly clean and presentable. These folks work hard to please.
I can vouch for the fact that there is plenty of work here. But what work could be more pleasant than that of working in the hospitality and dining industry. True, we have endeavored to create a destination resort where you will not get bored.
5 on September 23, 2014
This place was far above any expectations we could have imagined. The web pictures cannot begin to express the fabulous accommodations. The owners take personal interest in each of their guests, and we were treated as a special guest, not just another customer. We made this reservation as a stop on our 4 week anniversary trip (49 years) which included California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah and Arizona. THIS WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR TRIP. On a scale of 1-10 this has to rate 100. JIM T

They have thought of everything to make your stay romantic and comfortable, exciting and enjoyable. A very delightful and relaxing place to stay. Far exceeded any place we have ever stayed as a couple as far as the whole package. Their service is far beyond outstanding. They made sure we were happy.
Your review was very kind and we appreciate it. But we notice that the ranking is not quite 5 star. We would like to know where we should focus upon improvement in order to merit a full 5 star review. Specific criticisms are essential to our achieving our goal of a "Perfect Stay for Every Guest, Every Time". Additional comments would be appreciated.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Cameo Heights. Our room was elegant, clean and the linens were exceptional. We stayed two nights and dined both nights at the in house restaurant "The Vine" which was absolutely delicious! The morning breakfast was prepared by the owner Deanne which was also delightful with an abundance of fresh fruit. This Bed and Breakfast is definitely a 5 star experience!
Hello, we are so grateful for your review. You mention cleanliness, elegance, wonderful linens, and delicious foods. The words are certainly 5 star but the grade was not quite 5 star? I suppose you are like many guests who seem reluctant to mark 5 star because it pretends perfection and perfection is not possible. That may be true but it doesn't diminish our quest for it!

We could not have picked a more amaxing place to get engaged. We really enjoyed the staff and all the amenities of the inn. We will definitely be back...especially for the incredible breakfast!
5 on September 03, 2014
Cameo Heights Mansion is such a beautiful place. Everything you need is at the mansion. They have thought of every detail. We highly recommend ordering the basket dinner. Beautifully arranged full 4 course dinner that you can eat on the lawn , your room, or on the deck. We stayed in the Italian room and the view was gorgeous. They have a pool and fire pit. We sat out under the stars for hours. Do not miss the breakfast. Each morning was a lovely surprise of wonderful, tasty food. The innkeepers are a great couple that welcomes their guest.
Thank you for your kind review! We are gratified to hear your review of the basket dinner. Many have said that to call it a "basket dinner" is an understatement. It makes it sound more like a picnic than a dinner. It really is both--an elegant 4 course dinner served in a basket that you can enjoy as a picnic any where you choose to eat it.

I thought the costs of inn and especially the meal was excessive. The meal was good, but slow (2+ hours) and a cost of $200 (for two). The atmosphere was very nice and the view terrific. Quality of the food was very good. As far as the Mansion itself was magnificently decorated and the stay was very pleasant and relaxing. I was a little bit turned off by all of pentalty costs if you had to cancel your reservations, checked out late etc, but guess with the costs and size of Mansion it is necessary. This was our 2nd stay at Cameo Heights and I attend on returning. It is a special place and very relaxing and the hosts are very nice and accomodating.
Let me attempt to respond to this delightful guest. I can empathize with him. I, too, love to go and do expensive things, cheaply. And when I can't, I am frustrated. But I am not happy when the experience is regular and not special. I am thrilled when we have a singular experience. I understand now, if I didn't then, then somehow the owners need to be compensated for the luxurious ambiance that I find so regally enjoyable. Producing the ultra high quality lodging and dining experience is a very expensive operation. The differences can be subtle, but they are often quite costly. First, the building must be well constructed and beautifully decorated. The groceries and products you use will necessarily be of the highest quality. The building and yards need to be meticulously clean and well maintained, as if they were just built yesterday, in spite of the fact that people who don’t own the place are walking in with suit cases, boxes of wine which they drink in their rooms, bikes, etc, up and down stairways , though the doorways, and into the suites. Yet, when it is your turn to walk in, you expect to see no scratches, dings, stained carpets, or even a speck of dust under the cabinets or beds. We strive to produce that exactly that kind of perfect experience. But guests have to understand that there is a very significant cost associated with creating that kind of experience, day in and day out. I can’t think of a better way to say it than, “If you want good clean oats, you have to pay the price. But if you can be happy with oats that have already been through the horse, that comes quite a bit cheaper.” Many of these kinds of costs associated with high quality ambiance are fixed costs that have to be built into the price. Thus we can’t exactly say why x and y cost as much as they do, but we can say that if we didn’t charge what we do, we would soon be out of business. That’s why there are so few places that truly specialize in the highest quality—it just costs too much. The decision you must make as a future guest is whether you will appreciate the extra level of amenities and services enough to be willing to pay a bit more. Even though our guest here is disappointed in the price, notice that he is already booking his next stay. When all things are known, it is when we go cheap that we find the poorest value. Quality is usually never cheap but, though expensive, it can be a very good value. We accept the fact that our offering here at Cameo Heights Manson is not cheap, but we feel, and the great preponderance of guests seem to substantiate that, a stay at Cameo Heights Mansion, and dinner at The Vine, is a great value.

We spent our 20 year anniversary at Cameo Heights Mansion and had the most wonderful, relaxing weekend. The food was spectacular. The service and accommodations were excellent. I highly recommend this to any couple looking to have a romantic get away.
5 on August 25, 2014
Everything is done so that we feel at ease and better than at home. Every detail has been studied, the staff is very nice and never too much. Luxury seems natural. "The" place to stay for a couple wishing to spend some romantic days. We stayed only one night... it was not enough! People learning hotel management should come and watch the way things are done there. A very good lesson. Keep on doing like this. We enjoyed it very much and we are quite hard to get satisfied.
You have been so kind in writing this review. We do not see ourselves as experts in the hospitality business. We merely try to implement what we would expect when we travel. So much of what we do has roots in something we have experienced elsewhere and then attempted to emulate it by personalizing it to our business and improving upon it wherever possible. That you acknowledge our efforts favorable is very gratifying.

Cameo Heights would appear to sit "in the middle of Nowhere" but it is an absolutely beautiful place with amazing views and is close to wine-tasting areas. The rooms are unique and gorgeous and the dinner we had was so good and the chef is so creative. Would highly recommend this B&B!
We like to think of ourselves as an isolated destination resort. You wouldn't get the views any other way. Thus being in the "middle of nowhere" is part of the magic. But when you want to see the din and lights of the city, they are only 25 minutes in either direction.
5 on August 20, 2014
Wonderful room, beautiful property with lots of amenities. A great breakfast as well as a wonderful 5 star restaurant!
4.6 on August 14, 2014
Our only complaint from the weekend was that the pool cleaning ate up too large a portion of the day on one of the days of our stay - which also happened to be the only day we spent by the pool. Dinner was exceptional (5-courses) and an incredible value - each complimentary was far above what we had anticipated and different each day (we stayed three nights). Incredibly kind and gracious staff, excellent walk-though of the grounds and just all-around kind and genial people. Beautiful setting, very romantic - love the air-jetted tubs in each suite. We'll definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family.
I think I remember the experience. It is always difficult to find the right moment to do the deep cleaning things but they do have to cleaned. We are sorry it was on your watch. If you will call me we would be glad to give you a discount on your next stay to compensate you for the inconvenience.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and no detail was missed in our stay. We loved being surprised with a rose and chocolates in our room as we checked in. This place is the ultimate relaxation destination. There are things to do such as roasting smores in the firepit, watching a movie in their theatre room, swimming and walking around the orchards or you can just relax and sit by the pool all day. The staff was wonderful and by far the food was the best thing about this place. Absolutely delicious food probably the best we have ever had!
Thank you taking time to post a review. Many of our guests seem to be almost surprised when they find out how good the food really is. I suppose it is normal to think that it is just too good of luck to find great hospitality, accommodations, and then dining all in the same place. But luckily for us, as this guest and others seem to imply, you actually can find that at Cameo Heights Mansion. As to the staff, they truly are the ones that make it all happen. To them, we are most indebted and grateful.

We really had a great time at our stay. The meal was super and the romance of the B&B was great. The room was a little hot in temperature as the AC was taxed beyond its means to keep the room cool. Oh well we were there on a day when the temps were 104.
We were experiencing temperatures in the range of 107 and it taxed our system to the utmost. We are learning techniques and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of it all but on those days of such extreme temperatures, we work hard to ensure that rooms will not go beyond 72. Sometimes we are not quite successful. We did purchase fans the same day and placed them in the all the upper rooms to give guests the benefit of moving air.

Our stay at Cameo Heights Mansion was wonderfully relaxing and beyond our expectations. The staff was attentive and courteous. Our room was fantastic. The food was excellent. The owners went out of their way to make sure there was an array of things to do in case we got a little bored. Being out away from town this was an excellent plus, although we were so relaxed we didn't need much to keep us happy.
Peace and Luxury! I like that. Peace is something that our isolation helps produce. Luxury is an extension of our design and construction emphasis as well as our ongoing efforts to maintain it all in a very pristine fashion. AND our staff is truly incredible. Thank you for your kind review.

We recently enjoyed two nights at Cameo Heights and really felt like Royalty. The French Room was lovely and the linens and bedding so, "divine", is the only word I can think of to describe them. I told my husband that this must be what the Royals feel like when they sleep and wake. We enjoyed the coffee and light danish for the optional 8 am wake up call both mornings. The fondue was wonderful but too much food for us, though we tried our best. I think a small note on the menu to convey half portions of the breakfasts and dinners are available upon request would be wise. We eat much smaller portions and felt bad wasting such great food.
We might be guilty of excess! The food portions are carefully considered because more is not always better. But we certainly don't want to leave you feeling hungry, so if or when we error, it will probably be on the side of too much. But if you are always welcome to request smaller portions and we will respond appropriately. And dinners orders can be split between two persons, which is cost effective for you and generates less waste.

The full suites with private and luxurious bathrooms make this CHM more of a romantic, boutique inn than a B&B. Every need is anticipated and fulfilled. Romance and the strengthening of marital bounds through relaxation and fun seem to be their expertise. Although I would also ponder renting out the whole house with friends to make the weekend a private and sophisticated party/reunion. The small touches add to the overall comfort of the stay, from the subtle, floor level motion lights that briefly turn on should you move about your room in the middle of the night, to the morning wake up service with your choice of coffee/tea, and home made danish. The breakfast was amazing, and dining at the Vine for dinner was exceptional. The chef personally brought out very unique but tasty dishes at every course and gave a brief explanation of the food and tips on how to eat it ("this is a finger food, so don't be shy about using your hands") There is so much to do, just in the Mansion, that you need more than one day to experience all of it. We booked our stay for next year before we left and added on an extra night. Romantic, peaceful, beautiful and comforting with delightful surprises of fun.
How great to read your review! I think the take home message here is "you need more than one day to experience all of it". We do joke with our guests when they book for one night that they surely be telling us when they leave they it should have been two. Yet we understand that two nights aren't always possible. But if the reason you are refraining is simply because you are not sure whether the experience will be worth spending two night, read on!

I have been to a few B&B's, but the Cameo Heights Mansion is not your typical B&B. It has a modern feel with Old World charm accents. Very spacious rooms with open floor plan. Their in-house restaurant "The Vine" exceeded all of my expectations with their 7 course wine pairing meal option. If you are planning a trip to Walla Walla the Cameo Heights Mansion is a must see. Thank you Alan and Deanne for a awesome experience..... Melissa and Ellen

Hi, Everything was great at the Cameo Mansion. It was expensive, hence only 3star. The 4star dining rating was based on breakfast, we didn't eat dinner there.
Expensive does not necessarily compute to low value. The adage about buying good oats come to mind. "If you want to buy good clean oats, you have to pay the price. If, however, you can be happy with oats that have already been through the horse, that comes quite a bit cheaper." We only serve and deal with good clean oats here at The Mansion. Most of our guests leave feeling that got an excellent value for their dollars. If you are not, please contact us, because we guarantee your satisfaction.

We are vegan, they made us special vegan breakfasts every morning. The owners are very accommodating. The whole mansion is beautiful! Definatly the nicest place we have ever stayed. We loved the pool and the hot tub. The movie room was amazing. They give you lots if little extras that are included in your stay. All in all, I highly recommend you stay here!
Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, diabetic, nuts free, etc....there are many allergies and food preferences people deal with these days. Our dinner and breakfast chefs are unusually adept at handling all these different requests. You may come and eat with us calmly and safely expecting your allergies and preferences will to totally and amiably responded to. Food allergies are no problem at Cameo Heights Mansion.

On the road and made a quick decision to try Cameo B&B. We were greeted with a glass of cider and shown around. Stayed in the French room and couldn't be any more comfortable. A true gem of an inn with a gorgeous view. Will definitely stay again, but longer next time. What a find!
"longer next time"? Where have I heard that line before? Guests that stay with us are welcome to stay as long as they would like!

And just as our first trip we were not disappointed. I booked it as a "romance stay" for 2 days and we arrived on a Monday (the Vine was not open) and the staff quickly and graciously put together a dinner basket complete with candle to go with the bottle of champagne awaiting us in our room when we realized almost immediately that once we had arrived we did not want to have to leave to get dinner. The Greek suite was just as breathtakingly elegant as the Spanish suite where we stayed last summer. This time we got to take advantage of the gas fireplace in our room as well as the doors that open to the patio view and the fabulous air jet tub. We love the Cameo Heights Bingo and added a few things we did not do during our last stay including a movie in the movie theater room with freshly popped popcorn and using the smores kits provided for some outdoor fun. The food from the "wake up service" to the amazing breakfast and dinner is 5 star. We LOVE Cameo Heights. We believe in scheduling time for "us" and the pampered elegance of this gracious home leaves no detail out. We added a third night thanks to the fabulous "same day Booking" price and already can't wait for our next visit!

We live less than an hour from Cameo but it felt like we were a world away. Loved everything about our stay. The Vine served a fabulous dinner. Soaked in the hot tub. We stayed in the Italian suite and had a beautiful view and great privacy. We will definitely go again. Our only regret is that we didn't have time to take advantage of all the mansion had to offer. Maybe next time.

My wife and I needed a place to get away and relax and be restored. We enjoyed the beautiful scenic drive to the Cameo Heights Mansion and spent 2 nights. Alan is so outgoing and amiable - he welcomed us and showed us around the place. It is such a friendly and welcoming staff. You could tell that everyone loved working there! And we had the freedom to come and go as we pleased. I would highly recommend this destination to anyone who needs a special getaway.

Took advantage of 1pm discounted room rate and were not disappointed. Owners treated us like everyone else even though room was discounted. Our room was spotless and hot tub just right, not lukewarm like a lot. Best of all was our meal which was truly the best and we have dined in the supposed best of Spokane, Las Vegas and others. We now are planning my wife's birthday there at full price reservations.

We just celebrated another anniversary at Cameo Heights Mansion. Everything about the Mansion is just incredible. The rooms are so beautiful and spotless. You feel amazing during your stay, and the incredible thing is the feeling stays with you for at least a day afterwards. We love the Mansion.

There is no better place from which to experience the walla walla wine country than at Cameo Heights Mansion. the Vine restaurant on site and Chef Nathan offers a 6 course local wine paired dinner to rival any 5 star experience you may have had in a wonderfully intimate setting where you can watch Chef Nathan do his magic. The rooms are unique and top notch, comfortable and elegant. The amenities are plentiful and the proprietors are warm, friendly and helpful! The freshly baked pastry and coffee wake up service is my favorite extra.

This was an amazing place! Our anniversary was all we could want with the pampering we found at Cameo Heights Mansion. Their attention to every detail makes it a truly magical stay. THANK YOU Alan and Deanna and Cameo Heights Mansion!

Cameo Heights was an amazing place to stay. The care there was very personable and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. The rooms were very nice and all the options for different things to do were wonderful. It was a great evening there and we hope to go back again.

This was the best b and b we have ever stayed in, and we have traveled a lot over the last 31 years of marriage. The house-gorgeous, room-AMAZING, bath-FABULOUS, food-to die for. The little extra touches are wondeful and the hosts are the nicest people ever. Going back with friends!!

We stayed in the smaller Asian Room, but don't hesitate! The room was amazing and the personal touches were appreciated. My husband and I only stayed one night, however we should have stayed more. There was so much to do, we just ran out of time. The highlights were definately the food and amenities. The breakfast was so big and hearty, I felt guilty not eating it all. My husband liked the private feeling of the mansion, I know that all the rooms were booked, but we still felt like we had the house to ourselves. Do not hesitate to book a room! We are certainly planning on returning. Clint & Sarah

My husband surprised me for my birthday with a trip to the mansion and it was a wonderful experience. Alan greated us as if we were royalty and gave us a tour, and we were totally impressed with the mansion, the furnishings, and the story of its history. Our suite was beautiful and romantic and everything at the mansion more than met our highest expectations. The seven course dinner was excellent and beautifuly presented. We had fun looking for the "romance" box (which my husband found), playing CAMEO instead of Bingo, and enjoyed the movie theater and popcorn. Everything was luxurious including the bubble tub and the linens and toiletries. We loved the "before breakfast" coffee and fresh pastry by the pool and all the games that were available for our pleasure. Breakfast was an artist's palette of fruits and smooties and other goodies. We hope to return back many times and stay in a different suite each time. Don't miss this extraordinary experience!!!

The mansion is absolutely beautiful with every possible detail you might want thought of AND taken care of. The pool and patio and grounds are beautiful. The linens and towels are pure quality and the food at The Vine was wonderful. Breakfasts were delicious and beautiful and the service couldn't have been better. It is spendy but worth every penny, we've already booked again for next summer!

We have stayed in a few Bed & Breakfasts and received just that; bed and a breakfast. At Cameo Heights it’s just the beginning. Personal fitness room, swimming pool, hot tub, restaurant, make some popcorn and enjoy a huge home theater, outdoor games and indoor games, pick an apple (in season) from adjacent orchard….you need a week here! Breakfast is served by Alan and Deanne, delightful hosts who treat you as part of their family. We had a splendid stay, unmatched by anything we have experienced. Their extra touches for our anniversary were not only wonderful, but heartfelt.
5 on July 18, 2013
Sitting poolside we enjoyed looking out over the orchard and watching the windmills on the hills. Loved the romantic music playing as we took the staircase to our room to climb between those luxurious sheets! Delicious blueberry pasty and coffee delivered with a wake up call was a great way to start the day. Breakfast was wonderful. The owners and staff are very welcoming and made us feel special. Definitely will return!

Alan and Deanne have created something special here at the Mansion. We stayed in the third floor English Tudor Suite (no elevator) :( but the climb was well worth it. The suite is very large and spacious with a Juliet balcony overlooking the pool area. The bed linens were devine and the towels lush. Everything came with a touch of class. We received tokens to cash in for soft drinks and ice cream treats. The grounds are like a garden setting, just beautiful. Breakfast gave you a choice between 2 breakfast entrees plus a fruit platter. The food was outstanding. Alan and Deanne are "hands on" innkeepers. They both worked kitchen detail in the mornings. This B&B is one that truly lives up to the reviews and the "hype". Since we were here on our 4th anniversary, we made the decision to eat at their "in-house" restaurant, "The Vine" Chef Nathan presented us with a superb seven course meal, all prepared and served by him, with descriptions of what went into each course. They are fortunate to have such a great Chef running the restaurant. The wine list featured Washington state wines, but had other choices available. The common rooms in the Mansion were very well done, with the living room equipt with a baby grand piano. They accepted my Bed and Breakfast .com gift certificates with no problem and they are members of the "Select Registry" group of distinguished inns of North America. Needless to say, this anniversary stay was as nice as our anniversary stays in Paris, Salzburg or Washington DC. Alan even shot off fireworks on our anniversary, July 4.

Even though I live within 30 minutes of Cameo Heights I often overlook it. After having a 'bad day' I decided a quick, close escape was needed. Cameo Heights popped into my head and I made a phone call.... The experience was pure perfection. Our suite was beautiful, with attention paid to every detail from the in-house made lotions, the local fine chocolate, to the long stem rose on the luxurious bed. Dinner was a wonderful, delicious and relaxing experience. The food was prepared and served with skill, knowledge and an obvious passion for quality. Breakfast the following morning was equally creative and scrumptious. We checked out (reluctantly) after one incredible night's stay. Refreshed, rejuvinated and ready to return to the 'real world'. Cameo Heights is now a contact in my phone and at the top of my list for a place to Escape and regroup.

Spent the weekend with 11 girlfriends at Cameo Heights! This is a great place for group retreats as well as a romantic, wine country B&B! Got to enjoy the company and had a fun cooking class put on by the chef! The staff was amazing and wanted to help us enjoy our stay with anything that they could do. Breakfast was so YUMMIE. Dinner at The Vine was wonderful! Go with someone special or if you are looking for somewhere for a company retreat or a place to enjoy a group of friends or family-- GO TO CAMEO HEIGHTS!!!

This place was...pure awesomeness. We took 2 nights and so glad we did because of the quite, romantic place. The Vine is above 5 stars, and Chef Nathan is a master at getting your taste buds to run laps in your mouth...but so is their breakfast! What a place and the best b&b yet!!

Our experience was so much more than expected and we expected a lot. We expected good hospitality, some relaxation, some good food, a beautiful room.... but it was so much MORE! As I try to write this review and tell you how wonderful it was, I am finding it hard because you will really never know unless you experience it yourself. If you have read the other reviews, they say it all - romantic, relaxing, first rate service, and delicious food. But it was more than that...all these things and more added up to an experience that we have never had before (and we just celebrated our 26th anniversary). We highly, highly recommend a stay at Cameo Heights so you too can experience how truly great it is.

This was a fantastic get away! Perfect place to relax and feel like you're far away yet it's so close to the tri-cities. We are already trying to figure out how we can save money and get back. Even though it cost way more than I thought we would ever pay. It was worth it!! Very comfortable beds, nice hot tub, wonderful jacuzzi right next to the fire place (at least in our room), great home made bath and body supplies, good view, great things to do around the mansion, best tasting food we might have ever had, outstanding service from owners and chef. Rooms were just so pretty and we felt so comfortable there.

Alan and Deanne have become a main stay in our lives, as my wife and I have visited this fabulous retreat 4 times now. Every time is a different expereince as we have stayed in a different room each time. We have learned that, although the rooms may be different, the service is exceptional and our expectations are constantly exceeded. We will definitely be back again. You will not regret staying at Cameo Heights. There is no price that euqls the value you receive when you stay here. Wonderful!

Our special night and dinner were all we had hoped for and more. The French Room is amazing -from the beautiful furnishing to the spactacular view and skylights. Even in the dreary winter, all the lights on the patio turn it into a winter wonderland. Dinner was quite an event. The food was wonderful, the presentation was very special and the service was GREAT. We can hardly wait to have another magical stay at the mansion.

Our daughter and son-in-law gave us a gift certificate to Cameo Heights for Christmas. We stayed in the French room this past weekend. It was lovely! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and eveything about Cameo is over the top! Alan and Deanne are wonderful hosts and they've thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. We look forward to our next stay at Cameo Heights Mansion.

My husband and I have enjoyed staying at the mansion many times. When we go, we always leave planning our next stay there. Due to the location it is quiet and private, but offers many luxurious amenities. From the linens to the landscaping, no detail is overlooked. While staying, plan on eating dinner there. The dinner menu is amazing, and a great value! As parents with two young kids we have really enjoyed going to the mansion to rest and reset. We highly recommend it to all of our friends!

The Mansion is immaculate with rooms that boast different settings, making you want to come back and stay in all of the rooms. From Spanish themed, to Greek, German, Italian, French and English Themed, the rooms are comfortable, awesome and fun! The food is exquisite and the setting intimate. Alan and Deanne are excellent hosts. Alan is also a consummate ping pong player, be sure to challenge him!

This is the best bed and breakfast we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Including all the hotels we have ever stayed. The staff is dedicated to satisfying our every whim. The suite and facilities are absolutely beautiful as are the grounds and views. Alan and Deanne are the consummate hosts. Chef Penny is an absolutely wonderful gourmet chef and the meals were splendid at every sitting. It was a true family experience as Alan and Deanne made us feel part of their family. Room services and amenities were beyond our highest expectations. Thank you Alan and Deanne again for making such a special time for us.

My husband and I stayed in the Italian sweet for our 6year anniversary and Cameo Heights exceeded our expectations far and above what we had in store. Pictures do not do this place justice, the atmosphere is unbelievable......straight out of a story book and I have never had a stay as luxurious, romantic and customer service oriented in my life. You don not get service like this anywhere else. From the moment you arrive the grounds are breathtaking, inside is beautifully and tastefully decorated with music playing, the rooms are immaculate and timeless and the food is a taste of heaven. My husband and I plan to come back every year for our anniversary. Cameo Heights made our anniversary the best one yet.....even better than our honeymoon!!!!

When we went to Cameo Heights Mansion, we were NOT prepared for the pampering and service we found there. It is the attention to detail which makes this B&B stand out from the rest. The Inn Keepers, Alan and Deanne Fielding, have thought of EVERYTHING to make a couple's stay memorable. At 8:00 a.m. we had beverage and homemade pastry brought to our room. At 9 a.m. we were invited to a sumptuous breakfast of every imaginable and delicious fruit possible, followed by a beautifully and deliciously prepared and presented 2nd course. There are activities offered for every couple, including a fun "Cameo" game (formerly b-i-n-g-o ) where you are invited to participate in numerous activities designed to enhance relationships. Our room, the English Tutor, was like stepping into a bit of heaven. The bed was like sleeping on air. The views of the surrounding apple orchards, pool, and hot tub were spectacular. Special thanks to Alan and Deanne for going out of their way to pamper their guests. This is definitely the best B&B at we have ever stayed . We can't wait to return to be pampered once again!

We stayed in the French Suite...what a treat..they have thought of everything... the quality of the furnishings , linens etc. could not be better. If I was offered $1000 to make a recommendation to improve their operation I could not come up with it... the room and bed were very comfortable...We had a great night's sleep....the attention to detail during our stay was amazing..We loved the 8AM knock on the door with fresh coffee , juice and a fresh baked danish. That was only surpassed by the main event....Allen had prepared 6 platters of fruit in a dazzling display of shapes and sizes including my wife's favorite..figs stuffed with walnuts... the almond french toast with homemade lemon curd and raspberry puree has spoiled any other attempt at the dish..We could not eat a thing until dinner...the chef was pleasant and accommodating...She prepared a great slightly smoked Prime Rib as well as Halibut to die for....I would drive out of my way for several hours just to stay again...Oh yeah.. I forgot about the movie in the theater with fresh popcorn we attended before Samores out at the pool. Allen and Deanne have truly found their niche in life.... We will be back...Chip & Frances

My wife and I celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary at CAmeo Heights this past weekend. What a treat! We enjoyed every moment of our experience. Everything about Cameo Heights is 1st class! We stayed in the Greek suite. It is on the 1st floor and right outside the door is the pool and hot tub. Cameo Heights is like a 5 start hotel with all of the luxuries you would expect. Our dinner that evening at "The Vine" was incredible....and the breakfast the next morning was way beyond our expectations! In all, we HIGHLY recommend Cameo Heights. We will definitely plan future visits to this wonderful B & B!

This was our second stay at the Mansion in 2 years. Our first was for our honeymoon and this was for our second anniversary. We enjoyed our stay even more the second time. The Mansion has expanded what it gives guests, with their gift boxes full of pampering and their Cameo bingo, plus the find the "romance" game. We watched a movie in their movie room, popped popcorn, made s'mores, swam under the stars, ate a fabulous dinner, and were served breakfast in our room before we left. We played horseshoes, went on a walk in the orchard, and just enjoyed the peace and quiet the area offers. We wish we could come back and stay again!

My wife and I stayed at Cameo Heights Mansion during our celebration of our first anniversary. Alan and Deanne were away when we arrived, but they made sure that housekeeping was available to check us in when we arrived. She showed us to our beautiful room and the other amenities. Alan and Deanne made sure to greet us when they came home. Everything exceeded our expectations. They are truly a first class Bed and Breakfast. We could not have had a better time. Thank you, Alan and Deanne. We love your B&B.

My husband and I have now stayed at Cameo Heights Mansion (CHM) twice--in the English Tudor and the Italian rooms. Both times the rooms were exquisite and the Fieldings were exceptionally hospitable. The first time we ate at their small restaurant, and the food was fabulous! The second time, I was on a doctor-supervised diet, so we passed on the gourmet dinner--and I was a bit worried about breakfast, but my request for two pouched eggs in lieu of the menu breakfast was handled cheerfully--and I had the two best pouched eggs I have ever had. :) We love CHM and hope to eventually stay in each of the seven rooms--and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely & romantic evening.

We were so pleasantly surprised how beautiful this property is. I surprised my husband with a night on our anniversary and he too was totally impressed. We were pampered, left to do whatever we wanted, informed about all activities and amenities available when we checked in. Alan and Deanne are truly genuine and fun. We will have a hard time finding another B&B that will compare. Recommend highly.

Attention to detail in a beautifully appointed home. Truly an outstanding experience- we doubt you could find a better B & B or first class accommodations in the Northwest. Close to all of the fine wineries in the Walla Walla, Red Mountain and Columbia Valley. An outstanding restaurant and a great wine list at virtually no mark up. If you are gong to Walla Walla, don't miss this place!

Fantastic experience - live locally in Walla Walla, hadn't taken the trip out to Cameo Heights until last week, and believe me, it's a gem in our own backyard! Excellent attention to detail, very nicely appointed suites, and delicious food that FAR exceeded my expectations! Stayed in the English Tudor (WELL WORTH IT), would like to try the German Suite. Movie room is great, hot tub and pool are wonderful (try to schedule in the warm season so you can enjoy it too!), and make sure you don't pass up the dining at The Vine! We will definitely be back soon!

This was my husband's and my first B&B experience and we loved the wonderful mix of luxury and down to earth hospitality Cameo Heights offered. During our stay, Alan & Deanne's home became ours as we walked in the front door of this gorgeous mansion and were greeted warmly, shown around and given our key to our beautiful room. It was a amazing stay that we hope will not be our last!

Unfortunately, we tried for a second night too late -- but we'll be back. We loved the feel of the place, the food and the amenities. The owners went to great lengths to make sure we were fed and taken care of, in spite of our late arrival. Service was great, but a little less talking would have been nice...:-))

Cameo Heights is a beautiful, romantic place to stay! Every detail is taken care of to the highest degree. It is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. They bring you a little tray of coffee, tea or hot chocolate in the morning with a pastry for a "wake-up" call if you want one. It's great for early risers because breakfast isn't served until 9:00. The breakfasts are well worth the wait though. We had the most delicious blackberry strata one morning and huevos rancheros the next. Their dinner in their restaurant is delicious as well and well worth eating at least one of your dinners there. Alan and Deanne are kind and hard working people who go all out to make your experience enjoyable!!
4.4 on June 20, 2012
Cameo is run by honest, hard working people. They work as hard as anyone to ensure you have a great stay and fine service. I can't recall staying anyplace where folks worked that hard. It was a good location - outside of Walla Walla - but we liked that fact. It gave us a more peaceful long weekend and it was close enough to the vineyards.
Thank you for your kind remarks. We do try hard to please. However, the overall score of 4 indicates we need to work a lot harder. We are grateful for customer reviews and evaluations as we search for areas of needed improvement. The mark down on value is a tough one though. We do have occasional promotions but our level of detail, amenities and services makes it virtually unfeasible for us to wholesale lower the prices. We hope most guests factor all the extras in when they determine whether or not it was a good value. Sure, we would all like to have things cheaper but if I can add I little humor here for illustration. The consideration of value is a lot like buying oats. If you want good clean oats, you have to pay the price. If you can be happy with oats that you already been through the horse, then that comes a little cheaper. Though we may sometimes discount the price, we never discount the services. I don’t know of anywhere you can go and get more things free than here at the Mansion.

We had the privilege of spending a night at the Cameo Mansion Bed and Breakfast and enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed four more nights! Everything was beyond our expectations. Food was five star each morning—beautiful to look at and delicious. The owners were obliging to accommodate my wife’s dietary needs. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we have ever slept on. Our room and surroundings were meticulous. Alan and Deanne, the owners, were gracious and made us feel very comfortable. It is easy to see why they have been selected as one of the top ten bed and breakfasts in the United States.

We will not hesitate to go back to this place. It made our 10th anniversary night a dream. All aspects were outstanding. The innkeepers are welcoming and gracious, the food was excellent (they even catered to a special Gluten Free diet for me), the bedding and mattress amazing, the view outstanding, and the coffee was great as well as the extensive wine inventory. This place is amazing all the way around. Talk about attention to detail and spot-on attention to guests who want to be pampered. Loved it.

Stayed here for our tenth anniversary, we showed up excited and left disappointed. We stayed in the spanish room, which was nice yet not worth the price by any strech of the imagination. They advertise a romantic retreat, yet we recieved hours of loud people playing ping pong outside our room door for hours on end. It was very hard to be romanitc with the sound of every ping pong ball hit and hearing the players conversations. Very disappointing and sad. When we called the front deck to explain our situation we were told that quiet hours are at 10:00 PM . Once again...very disappointing. For those parents who have kids like us and go to "romanitc getaways" once or twice a year... THE LAST THING I WANT TO HEAR OUTSIDE MY ROOM DOOR IS PING PONG PLAYING.
We are very sorry to have disappointed this guest. I think we have remedied that by telling all our guests during check-in that there is to be no ping pong playing after 9:00PM. We think this is a decent compromise of providing the recreation of ping pong and other games which the majority of our guests really appreciate while at the same time, limiting the objectionable noise pollution to the adjacent rooms, the Greek and Spanish room during the evening hours. If we knew the name of the disappointed guest, we will gladly call and comp them a free night to try it again. We want NO unhappy guests any time and endeavor to see that everyone's experience meets and hopefully exceeds their expectations. We guarantee your satisfaction. We invite the reviewer to call us for your free night.

My husband & I stayed here for a one-night honeymoon. This was an experience we’ll never forget. After reading the posted reviews for this B&B, I agree with all the positive comments other guests shared. I noticed that some people ranked the value as less than outstanding, even as other aspects ranked outstanding. Carefully considering my experience of this place, I believe it is an excellent value. It's truly exceptional & it’s highly evident once you step foot in the house & take in the other rooms, that much time, money & consideration were given in the design & decor. To say it’s fine, gorgeous & regal feels like an understatement. I'm not sure how one could even top this place in the B&B category. It was more than anything I could’ve expected, especially considering its close proximity to Tri-Cities. I marveled at all the fine attention to detail that lends to that feeling that you're immersed in true luxury. Though our stay was brief, we did partake in the mansion’s fabulously tasty dinner & breakfast offerings. I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying top-notch food and the food here is now part of that repertoire. The owner, Alan, took time after dinner to bring us scrumptious coffee ice cream & converse with us. I was very gracious & it was neat to relate to him on a more personal level. The presentation & taste of the meals was world-class; the best I've experienced thus far! I must mention the danish & coffee included in the wake-up service. Coffee was perfect; not too weak or too bold. The danish puts every other danish I've ever put in my mouth to shame. It was served warm & fresh; perfectly balanced, from the ideal sweetness of the apple filling to the soft texture & wonderful taste of the pastry breading. We took a walk around the property & orchard, & found the atmosphere so serene. We could’ve spent hours exploring around the countryside. We’ll be saving up to experience this place again soon. I know it will be worth every dollar!

An experience not to be missed. We stayed only the one night and wish we had had the time to spend more. We were in the German room which was lovely and dined in the Vine which is part of the B&B. The food was excellent, the room wonderful and the innkeepers are lovely people. We got a chance to sit and talk with them after our dinner and it was great fun. They really do work hard and their attention to detail really shows. If you are enjoying a trip to the Washington wine country we heartily recommend a stay at this fine B&B. We certainly plan to return in the future.

Cameo Heights Mansion is the absolutely THE most exquisite Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed in! Its 5 Star accommodations, breakfasts, meals, and personnel make it a coveted destination. At every opportunity we have recommended them to our friends and everyone that has been here has been delighted as well.

We were unable to get anything in Walla Walla so I found this on the internet. We are so glad we stayed here instead. It ended up being the highlight of our trip. Much more elegant than the Marcus Whitman. We loved the setting in the beautiful orchard, and vineyard. Beautful views from the rooms. The Hosts were spectacular, best service we have ever received. We had dinner at the mansion as well, I had a delicious bing cherry chicken with rosemarry stuffing and my wife had the prime ribbed. It was perfect. We ate out on the balcony overlooking the pool and orchards. Apples were ripe for the picking, we loved that it's an organic orchard. We had our bikes and went on a nice ride out to the vineyard high on the hill. The views were great. Hands down the most amazing place we have stayed. Please, do yourself a favor and stay here over anything in Walla Walla!!!

Over the top. That's the sentence that comes to mind. We were invited to act like we were at home and we did! There was not one thing we could have improve. Not one thing that we would have changed (except to stay longer). Treat yourself. You won't regret it.

John and I wanted a romantic getaway to some place special. Cameo Heights was that place. It had been recommended to me by a dear friend -- she was right -- OUTSTANDING! The rooms were lush and grounds meticulous. We dined there and it was very special. The service was more than expected and the food delicious made by a very gracious chef who came to our table and explained everything. We truly felt welcomed and only wish they had had another night available for us. We plan on visiting again!

The Cameo is truly an exceptional experience! The rooms are spacious, unique and so comfortable it is a challenge to leave and visit the excellent wine country nearby. We had not been back to Walla Walla in the last 10 years and were amazed at the transformation into a destination that deserves more than the three days we had planned. We recommend staying with Alan and Deanne who make all their guests feel like members of an extended family. The breakfast and dinners are beyond my ability to describe equal to the best resturant experience in presentation and dining experience. The menu features local seasonal foods accompanied by an extensive wine list of the finest local wines selected with assistance of Walla Walla winemakers. If you are there to visit the wineries we recommend planning to spend five days leaving the Cameo each day after an excellent breakfast and lounging by the pool. We will be back to enjoy the hospitality and excellent experience of staying at the Cameo in a beautiful part of the country.

This was the cleanest B&B i have ever visited. The food was all home made amazing and the pool is spectacular. I had a great stay and will be back. Every room was a little different and perfect for any occasion. Kids/romance/relaxation.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the last part of August 2011 and, except for other committments, would have stayed longer because of the amazing graciousness of the Fieldings and their chef and the exquisite amenities of the mansion. It was hard leaving this place because it has almost everything (no Jack Nicholas designed golf course on premises (so what!)). The dinners, by themselves, are worth the trip from the "coast". All, in all, my wife and I had a great time there and will so again in the future.

Everything about our stay at Cameo Heights Mansion was great. The Spanish Suite was cozy and comfortable. All of our meals were delicious and beautifully prepared. Alan and Deanne were gracious hosts, giving us plenty of privacy, but also providing us with the amenities to make our stay memorable and relaxing.

We stayed over the weekend at Cameo Heights Mansion and had a wonderful experience. The B&B is beautifully maintained and the rooms are exquisite. We stayed in the English Tudor suite on the top floor of the Mansion with an amazing view of the adjacent vineyard and apple tree orchard. The owners of Cameo Heights, Alan and Deanne Fielding, make every effort to ensure that no detail is left unattended and I have to agree with other reviewers that they have set a new standard in luxury B&B experiences. The food at their restaurant (the Vines) is amazing with one of the most impressive and well thought out wine lists in the area. A full breakfast is included with the room and was delicious -- better than any B&B I have stayed at previously. The location of Cameo Heights is perfect. It is in the heart of Walla Walla Valley with beautiful grounds and views. It is perfectly positioned between Walla Walla and the Red Mountain/Tri Cities area. As a result, we were able to do wine tastings in both regions quite easily over two days. I would highly recommend booking a wine tour with Alan in the Walla Walla area. His knowledge of the area and wineries is extensive and this experience was one of the highlights of our visit to Washington wine country. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone considering a trip to Washington wine country.

We spent the weekend at the Cameo Heights Mansion and were so glad we opted for staying the full weekend; one night would not have been enough! The Fieldings are lovely people; food was incredible; private, elegant rooms ... We highly, highly recommend the Cameo and will be back, with additional friends in tow to enjoy the country setting. Be sure to plan on dining at the Vine (located in the mansion). Watching the chef prepare our meals was fascinating and I don't think you could find a better meal anywhere in the area.

We've stayed at Cameo Heights three times now in both winter and summer. Each time we've found the rooms beautiful, the innkeepers friendly and helpful, and the food delicious. The remote setting makes it easy to relax and get away from work and other distractions. The pool is great in the summer, and there are several golf courses and many excellent wineries in the area offering tastings and sales of wonderful Walla Walla and Tri-Cities wines.

Our one night stay at the mansion was fabulous. You will not find a more beautiful room, peaceful surroundings and delicious food anywhere. Alan & Deanne (owners) are very delightful host. The jetted tubs in the rooms are very fun and enjoyable. The food is so good we won't wait to spend an evening there to have dinner again. We will be back. You won't be disappointed and you will want to return soon.

My wife and I loved the stay at the mansion. I think it is the best place to take your sweetheart if you want a nice romantic getaway. The Fieldings are great hosts and they treat you like kings. with the wake up service that comes with a homemade pastry and your choice of beverage. Too a gorgeous dinner. The food is outstanding. I would recommend the cameo heights mansion for anyone who just wants to getaway for a weekend. It is amazing. Thank you Fieldings for all you do.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the Mansion. It was a fabulous experience. Romance at it's finest! We enjoyed our spacious suite and the incredible views of the vineyards. Comfort is key to having a great experience and we felt that the entire time during our stay. The food was made from scratch and is truly an experience that is sure to please any palate. We can't wait to return for our anniversary. We would recommend the Mansion to any couple who wants a truly private and romantic getaway filled with absolute bliss!

We love this spot. Secluded, but an easy trip from the Tri-Cities. We have visited twice, about a year apart and have stayed in the Spanish and French suites. The hosts are friendly but not overbearing, the rooms are great--we love the tubs--and the restaurant is spectacular. We will go again!

We've visited Cameo Heights 3 times now. We've never experienced such pampering, classy furnishings and outstanding service as the Fieldings provide. We are determined to take time off on a regular basis and visit Cameo. What a breath of fresh air and new life comes to our marriage when we drive a few miles to this outstanding refuge. Thanks, Fieldings!

There aren’t any options in/near the Tri Cities where you can find 5 star quality and service…..UNTIL NOW. Cameo Heights Mansion is at the top. Each room has their own FULL bathroom, a large bathtub, fireplace, and big LCD TV. Each room also comes with complimentary bath bubbles and stuff. You can choose to be in your room the whole time or experience the other amenities in the Mansion like the theater room, exercise room, ping pong table, piano room, hot tub, swimming pool and even a 5 star restaurant up stairs. For a little extra money they will bring you dinner in your room. We did that and it was so AMAZING. I had the prime rib………it was the best I had ever had. The hosts were so friendly and nice. They were available at all times if you needed anything. We did stay two nights which enabled us to really enjoy the mansion. A one night stay just wouldn’t have been the same. Go and be treated like royalty.

This is one of the most majestic places we've stayed at in our 40+ years of marriage! Everything about the room and services was outstanding, and the special attention to our specific dietary needs was amazing! Cameo Mansion is a beautiful place with a wonderful view, and everything is set up for an over-the-top experience! The food was delicious, right down to the pre-breakfast tray delivered to our door! Yes, we will definitely return and tell our friends about Alan and Deanne's delightful hilltop retreat in Eastern Washington! Thank you for a much needed getaway! Jan and Jane

By now we have booked five different rooms at Cameo Heights Mansioin. Yes, we have kept coming back for our anniversary, Valentine's Day, and birthdays over the past few years. I has consistently been a wonderful experience in each room and the great amenities like luxury furnishings, in-room jetted tub, the pool and hot tub outside, the theater room, The Vine restaurant, and our favorite, the in-room fondue dinner. The proximity to the hundreds of wineries in the Walla Walla area and the Columbia Basin makes this a wine lover's "must stay here" Bed and Breakfast. We intend to stay in every room in the Mansion at least once and will be back again. Dave and Rosie

This is a slice of paradise in every respect! Inside and out. I just love this getaway and feel the website really does represent "truthfully" the essence of what the innkeepers Alan & Deanne offer you in person upon your arrival. Only in person - they offer even more! I have come to find during my getaway travels over the last 20 years...for my regional radio show and romantic travel book series "Sweethearts Getaway Guide Of the Northwest" that this is not always the case. Rest assured - Cameo Heights Mansion will exceed your expectations. The suites are larger than life - and outstanding! So luxurious and comfortable - one never wants to leave. The privacy factor is absolutely wonderful. One really does feel transported to their own private world when visiting here. The amenities "including the homemade bath products" wake up service, as well as the delicious breakfast and 5 star dinner in "The Vine" are all added features they provide to make each guest feel totally pampered. It sets them apart from all the rest. Spectacular is the only way to describe this service. In other words, Alan and Deanne go the extra mile to make sure each guest feels special - and in turn you will come away with an amazing experience which will last a lifetime. BRAVO! I surprised my girlfriend with a special weekend at the Cameo Heights Mansion for her 50th birthday. Making the arrangements over the internet was simple and the Fieldings followed up later with emails and a phone call to make sure that we and they would be ready for the weekend. I really appreciated that since I was coming off of a heavy travel schedule and the reminders were welcome indeed! Everything about the Mansion was perfect! We parked the car when we got there and never left for the two days we were there. We hiked, played ping pong, watched a couple of movies, and simply relaxed. The chef, Penny, competes in the local Iron Chef competitions and serves up food that would hold its own anywhere! I was looking for a place within a day's drive of my home and the Mansion is only 35 minutes away, but it's like being in another world!

While only a one night get away close to home the stay more than exceeded our expectations. The room, the food, the comfort... were all exceptional. The innkeepers and their staff were friendly and helpful. And the amenities... luxurious. We will be going back!

This was our first wine tasting trip to the Walla Walla area. We now plan to make this an annual tradition and certainly plan to return to Cameo Heights Mansion. Deanne and Alan of CHM helped to make our trip spectacular. Their breakfast is delightful, the rooms are gorgeous and furnished with the finest attention to detail, and the setting of CHM is perfect. What a fantastic weekend!

Staying at Cameo Heights Mansion was a wonderful experience. The hospitality room was always open, so my husband, who is an early riser could make coffee for himself & read the morning paper, which is important to him. The innkeepers were very welcoming. EVERYTHING in this place is plush & pampering! The food was some of the best we've had....excellent chef! I don't believe anyone could be disappointed in a stay here.

Our children found Cameo Heights Mansion for us, and surprised us with a weekend getaway for our 20th Anniversary...This was our first stay at a B&B! We found the innkeepers to be very friendly, caring, and interested in our needs/wants. The breakfast pastry brought to our room was amazing, another hour later we went to the dining room to enjoy a fabulous breakfast. The presentation was outstanding and the taste was amazing. Dinner at The Vine, was fantastic. Great care was taken with each dish that served. We look forward to going back in the future. Visiting Cameo Heights Mansion is worth your time and your money. We had a grand experience; first entering the Mansion and meeting Deanna for a tour of our two rooms ( we had another couple with us) and seeing the breathtaking view. The grounds are outstanding, we both being avid gardeners were blowed away with the landscaping and obvious care that was given to the design and upkeep. While the rooms are sumptious and the attention to detail given by the innkeepers obvious they are still spaces that you want to curl up in, not "stodgy". We have eaten at some of the finest restaurants and this is some of the finest food we have had, we all cleaned our plates. In the morning we were awaken by a soft knock at the door and an announcement that our morning coffee was there, a melt in your mouth danish, fresh orange jiuce and delcious coffee. We think that an angel delivered this because tho we went to the door quickly...they disappeared into thin air. Breakfast was taken in the gorgous dining room overlooking the pool.. Again a most wonderful meal. Our only reqret is that we could not stay longer';next time we will...and take a golf culb for the driving range.

Our very first visit to eastern WA we stayed at Cameo Heights Mansion. Now we are spoiled! Everything was beyond our expectations. The suite was so delightful that we did not even want to leave, but venture out we did. We visited nearby wineries but also dines at their onsite restaurant, The Vine. Chef Penny has brilliant cullinary skills. And the breakfasts prepared by Deanne are devine. We skipped lunch most days because we were so satisfied. The smores by the firepit, the popcorn for the movie theatre, the friendly hospitality. As we said, you can't top this! Our thanks to Alan and Deanne!!

We visited Cameo Heights Mansion for one evening in September 2010. My husband and I were greeted by Alan and Deanne and immediately they made us feel at home. We stayed in the Spanish Suite #1 and the suite was more than we could have ever expected. The decorations were beautiful and we felt like we were in our own little retreat. We sat out near the pool to relax and Deanne fixed a delicious gourmet cheese tray for us. The wakeup call with coffee and fresh pastry was a welcome treat and the breakfast with fresh fruit cup, eggs and pancakes were outstanding. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night. We will most definitely go back and spend the weekend. Be sure to treat yourself to this place - it is perfect in every way. Kevin and Bernadette Alano Salem, OR

The Fieldings take hospitality to a new level of excellence! My husband and I were blown away by all the thoughtfull and comforting details of our stay at the mansion. It would be a challenge even for a Four Seasons hotel to compare! To top it off, Alan took us on a private tour of the surrounding orchards, sampling wine grapes, apples and the incredible views! This is truly a special place created by truly special people. We are telling everyone about our experience!

My wife and I stayed at Cameo Heights Mansion for our wedding night, and (pat on the back) I could not have made a better choice. The Cameo Heights Mansion website is inundated with hyperbolic cliches and redundancies like "opulent luxury," "pampered service," and "pampered luxury" ad infinitum ad nauseum. Fortunately, besides the website, there is little that the Mansion lacks. Our room was well furnished and spacious enough that we never felt cramped or claustrophobic. The marble bathroom includes a jacuzzi bathtub and a shower that comfortably fits two. The shampoos and soaps are locally and organically made, and we never heard a peep from any of the other couples staying at the mansion. Ample insulation seems to be overlooked at some B&Bs, and a romantic getaway is less romantic if you are sharing the romance with the couple in the adjacent room. Eventually, the exploratory impulse overpowered the romantic, and we tiptoed our way through the Mansion early in the morning. Once again, the attention to detail which Cameo Heights prides itself in (in the name of "opulent luxury") paid off. The game room has almost everything I need to be happy. Board games, ping-pong, an abundant collection of movies (unfortunately I did not find a library) and a great view of the pool. What really sets Cameo Heights apart is the landscape around it. For those of us who love nature beyond the visual beauty of a country landscape (which is also very appealing), Cameo Heights offers the rare opportunity to experience the beauty of the rolling hills of vineyards and apple and cherry orchards with all the senses. I love being able to walk in silence through rows of apple trees and grapes, smelling, listening and feeling new sensations. For the adventuresome, there is also a nearby rock quarry that we enjoyed investigating. Overall, Cameo Heights Mansion offers a very enjoyable getaway for couples who prefer spending time together in a quiet, romantic setting.
I certainly appreciate your constructive editorial help with our website. It sounds like we are trying to hard! We will work on cleaning up our "hyperbolic cliches and redundancies." Incidentally, we do have a library of books--it is office where you checked in. You are free to check out and read any of the books from our office. All of the Mansion, except, of course, our master's quarters and the kitchen refrigerator, are open to our guests. We are sorry you did not know that. We thank you for your well written review. I would love to talk to this guest in person about the website, if you would care to call me.

I booked the mansion for our 17th wedding anniversary. It exceeded our expectations. Deanne was very friendly and so accomodating. We first visited the wineries in Prosser on our way to the mansion, which were outstanding! We made last minute dinner plans at the mansion, and was amazed by the high end commercial kitchen and excellent chef/dinner. So much to do at the mansion and not enough space to share our wonderful trip. We will be back soon !

Let me try to describe a place that looks like you should take your shoes off when you enter because of its splendor and then once you meet your hostess, she invites you to take off your shoes so you feel more at home. The mansion is perfectly appointed from its furnishings to its fixtures to the cool marble under your toes, and yet the smells coming from the kitchen tell you that your grandmother is there preparing your next meal. Are you in the movie, "Under the Tuscan Sun" or are those perfect rows of fruit trees visible from your balcony part of the third farm that Mr. Fielding has carved out of the sagebrush in his lifetime? A short, picturesque drive towards Walla Walla from the Mansion found us at our first of 15 wineries that we visited this weekend, and we weren't even trying very hard! You simply must come and stay a Cameo Heights Mansion! Dip your feet in the pool, make some s'mores on the fire-pit out back, put some romance back in your relationship in the decadently luxurious suites, and let some good old-fashioned hospitality pour over you from your gracious hosts. I highly recommend Cameo Heights Mansion - you won't be disappointed!

We celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary at Cameo Heights Mansion B&B. It was very peaceful, relaxing and restful. The Fieldings were very accommodating. They made us feel right at home. The food was totally fabulous. We liked it so much, we stayed an extra night. Being animal lovers we especially enjoyed Dolly the dog and watching a little rabbit one morning seeing stars at night and watching birds; reading by the pool...it's perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate.

The Fieldings define the words "attention to detail"! Their mansion surrounds you with luxury, yet makes you feel ever so much at home. Our room was beautiful and the morning wake up service is a treat. Because they create all their own food, they can cater to people who have dietary needs. They are so accommodating! We loved our time there and plan to go back. It's also nice that they are very close to many, many boutique wineries in Walla Walla.

I cannot say enough about this fantastic Bed & Breakfast. My husband and I have stayed in many over the years, but our stay at the Cameo Heights Mansion was by far the best B&B we've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The food was better than some 5-star restaurants I've dined in; the service, personal touches, amenities, and rooms were absolutely supreme. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a luxurious, private and peaceful getaway. It was worth every penny!

Our experience at Cameo Heights Mansion exceeded our highest expectations. We were pampered--a very special way to spend our 35th anniversary. The warmth of the Inn Keepers personal hospitality; the elegant surroundings; the delicious food; the special Wake Up tray delivered to our door each morning with coffee, homemade fruit danish, and a fresh rose to start our day--all these things have created a kaleidoscope of wonderful memories that say "Let's do this again."

What a fabulous B&B! The attention to detail is amazing! The rooms are extremely comfortable and the B&B is situated beautifully between Pasco and Walla Walla so that it serves as the perfect "base" to the wine country. Deanne serves a fantastic breakfast and the restaurant, The Vines, is just wonderful for dinner. You will feel extremely pampered and relaxed!

We got a gift certificate for christmas to stay at the mansion from my in-lasws. My mother and father in-law have stayed there before and loved it. My husband and I decided to use it on our 1 year anniversary. I fell in love with their home as soon as we pulled up the driveway. When we walked in the front doors it took my breath away. The pictures Alan and Deanne posted on the website do their home no justice.. You have to see it in person to really appreciate it. I wish my husband and I could of stayed longer then just one night, in my opinion you need ATLEAST 2 nights.... So we will be joining them again very soon. We stayed in the Spanish Suite and it was perfect. The breakfast Deanne made the next morning was deliscious. Thank you very much for opening your home up to us!! The two of you a a very special gift.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Cameo heights and had a great experience. Our room, the German Suite was breathtaking. The decor, furnishings..everything was excellent. A state of the art flat screen TV that could open out to face the bed with Direct TV in high definition was included. My room even had a loft up one floor you could climb up to. The Jacuzzi tub was large and functioned flawlessly. The bathroom was beautiful as well and the various lighting throughout the suite could be dimmed to whatever level one chose. I would highly recommend eating dinner at the Mansion as well. The food was superb and expertly prepared by the chef, Penny. I had a Prime Rib that had first been put into a special smoker outside and then further cooked inside. It was the best Prime Rib I've ever had. My girlfriend had a Braised lamb and a shrimp and scallop appetizer that she found incredibly delicious. I had also a great salad with goat cheese and sliced pear. Also, we partook of some excellent wine selections from some nearby vineyards. Speaking of food, the breakfasts were also fantastic and the view, while eating, was something to behold. The recreation area downstairs was fantastic with a True Home theater like we had never seen. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

We have just returned from a trip to the wine country of Washington state and our stay at CHM was the highlight. If you love to sit and look at activity from afar, the pool area looks down on a herd of cattle and the highway while you seem to be floating above the apple orchards. A hike into the hills should be done if you have the time because the vistas change so much. You can look at grape vineyards, apple and cherry orchards, or the power generating windmills on a nearby ridgeline. Unique. The Greek suite was our choice because it is large and right off the pool and hot tub. Their dog, DollyParton, was there to greet me outside when I went for a hike at 5:30AM. Amenities are described in the other reviews here and on tripadvisor. PLENTY describes them best, including mongrammed CHM accessories everywhere. Deanna prepared us a complete fondue dinner for 2 served on the deck which was as good as we,ve had. Their available wines seem to be over 100(300?) and we had a great dining experience. The breakfast(s) the next day were equally great. Deanna was our personal tour guide as this was a week-night and she had the time to visit. Alan was out busy canoeing with a youth group on a Walla Walla lake. Most canoe stories end with a tip over which Alan can re-tell if you ask him. He even tried to line me up with a tennis match with a high school player. In summary, the CHM experience is all about service. Don't miss this!

As the title of this review indicates, I reserved the Italian Suite for my parents on their 26th wedding anniversary. I was a little worried since the suite I really wanted was already reserved, but my parents absolutely loved their accomodations! They had a stunning view (with plenty of pictures to show for it), they loved the food at The Vine, the Apple Cherry cider, and the atomosphere. They especially loved the view of the sunrise from their bed. They were thrilled, and I highly reccommend this as a place to pamper yourself or others.

I can now imagine being true royalty: an awakening which includes a gorgeous view, with a ready fire next to the bed, coffee arriving at our door with a fresh pastry, prefacing, an hour later, a scrumptious home made breakfast overlooking the patio, orchard, and vineyard. All with the gracious (and fun) hostess and host in attendance. Wonderful

My husband and I spent one night there and fell in love with the place. It's absolutely beautiful, the hospitatlity was magnificent, and the rooms are immaculate! We stayed in the German Suite, but the owner gave us a tour of the other rooms before the other guests checked in. Each room has its own theme, and the pictures really do not show the fine details - plus the rooms are a lot bigger than what is pictured. For example, the German room has a secret loft with a comfie couch and table but you can't see it in the picture!! There are so many extras there, I cannot even try to list them all...a private movie theater, hot tub, fire pit equipped with s'more excessories, ping pong table, chess table, piano, harp, fireplaces....There is such a romantic appeal all over the place! And the food was the best either one of us had either had. In fact, we are planning to head out there again soon just for the dinner. I do not know the name of the chef, she was awesome! The food was fresh and wonderful. We ended up having breakfast brought to our room and it was absolutely amazing!! We are planning on making a stay-over reservation every year from now on for our wedding anniversary. The owners were down to earth and just fun to be around!!
The best part of this business is the guests that come through our doors. This is an example of the gracious types of people who have been our guests. We are humbled and gratified by your very kind review. We feel very grateful and lucky to have the services of one of the finest chefs in the Northwest. Her name is Penny Addison. The positive reviews of our guests inspire us to try even harder to merit your compliments. And to these guests and any others who choose to celebrate their anniversary, birthday, or other special occasion at the Mansion, be assured we will continue to provide, to the best of our ability, the most romantic and fulfilling setting possible for each of your upcoming special events.

We've stayed at the Cameo Heights Mansion twice now and will stay there again as we travel frequently to Walla Walla. Although there are places closer to Walla Walla where we could stay, CHM is too good to pass up! The rooms are very nicely done and the rates are fair. But, they really surpass expectations in the area of service and the restaurant. They have worked through the details to provide the ultimate in a B&B stay. We give CHM our strongest possible recommendation.

Cameo Heights is like an oasis in the desert, surrounded by wine country the B& B provide my GF and I an amazing relaxing stay. It offers you as much or as little as you would like to do so perfect! We enjoyed the dine in the room service and its was great, the fondue was to die for! In addition for breakfast the mexican style quiche was phenomenal! I would highly recommend for those of you in need of a complete chill to take 2 nights arrive at soak it all up. It proves a very romantic location for special occasions and just because.

I suprised my hubby with a 1 night stay for Valentines Day. I was so excited! The owners helped me keep my secret and even changed the menu to meet my husbands picky food habits! (THANK YOU!) We had a lovely time and felt spoiled in every way. The food was perfect and so was the room. My husband even got to play ping pong with the owner and had a great time. We used everything they offered and enjoyed every minute! When I tried to go back this year for Valentines Day, the place was completely booked!! I guess good news travels fast! Im going to have book our mini vacation a lot sooner next year.

It was our first stay at a B&B and it far exceeded our expectations! The German room was so fun! There was such a cozy and homey feel to our stay. The cook prepared the BEST salmon I have ever tasted! We will be back to try all the rooms!

I was taken here by suprise on a "spontaneous" outing. Cameo Heights Exceeded my expectations on the room and the food was by far the best I've had in some time. I would recommend this B&B to anyone. We'll go back to experience this again. Joe & Tracey

Amazing! I felt like a princess! My husband and I went there for our 10th anniversary and we couldn’t have picked a better place. We stayed in the German suite but she let us tour the rest of the suites. I actually liked the German room the best, it was so beautiful. As far as the food goes; the breakfast was one of the best we ever had and we paid extra to have them bring it to our room which was so nice. It was a perfect morning I loved it. Dinner was fine but very pricy and the food was too rich for my husband and I; that was the only downside for us. For desert I had a caramel apple cheesecake that was possibly one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. We will certainly be back!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Cameo Heights. We decided to take a quick trip for a Saturday night after Thanksgiving. It was so nice that it's only about 20 minutes away from the Tri-Cities, but it feels like you're really "out-of-town." The rooms and facilities were immaculate. The jetted tub in the bathroom was awesome, and I can't think of anything I would have added to the room to make it better. The grounds are beautiful, even in the cold, and there is a wonderful view from the hot tub. We watched a movie in the very cool theater room, of which I am extremely jealous. We had dinner at The Vine, which was very good. To top it off, we had a pre-breakfast danish and coffee laid outside our door, which was so delicious, as was breakfast. We felt very comfortable the whole time thanks to the Fieldings hospitality! We will go back!

We were treated like royalty, we felt pampered, we were so very comfortable. I have food allergies and the menu was made to fit my needs. I truly recommend this B & B.

We have traveled extensively, nationally and internationally. Cameo Heights definitly rates at the top of the list for comfort, food, and overall beauty and cleanliness. The Fieldings are delighful and attentive hosts. Take your camera and a big appetite.

As wonderful as this location looks online, the photos absolutely DO NOT do it justice. The owners are very personable and made sure we were comfortable. The Chef that is on staff is beyone 5 star quality. The pool was romantic and a wonderful temperature. This place ranks right up there with Roma, Firenze and Napa!! Thanks for everything and we will be back. Sonia & Jose Garcia Washington State

It's like a slice of Vegas but w/o the noise, gambling, or trouble. Quite shocking attention to detail and the food was very delicious. We will return, probably w/ other friends and family.

We aren't typical fans of B&B's because we like to get away just the two of us, and don't want to be with other people. But, we were short on time, and only had a limited area that we could travel to, and thought we would give it a try. We were very pleased with the home, the amenities, but our favorite part was that we were not "bothered" by staff, other guests, etc. We could just shrink into our little twosome and enjoy each other all over again. I would definitely stay again, and would recommend to others! Thanks for the great weekend!

What an incredible place. We have stayed in 5 star hotels in Venice, London, New York: None of them came even close to Cameo Heights Mansion. Their eye for details in decorating, serving, amenities, etc. to the view overlooking the pool and grounds are extraordinary. You will not be disappointed. We only had breakfast as we arrived on Sunday evening and stayed only one night, but those lemon pancakes with the fresh fruit on them were so very tasteful. The presentation was delightful. We will definitely be going back to stay longer next time. Deanne and Alan are such delightful people and such gracious hosts.

We stayed in the Italian room and it was fabulous!!! We took full advantage of the vast wine list, the theatre, the pool, the jetted tub, and the soft/fluffy bed!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this B&B to others!
5 on July 18, 2009
We will be spending our third time since Cameo Heights Mansion opened! The Spanish room is our favorite and will be spending our next week visit in the Greek room! All our previous stays have really been OUTSTANDING from the food to the service of the inn keepers Alan and Deanne. You can't find a better value any where else! Jim & Jaime - Kennewick, WA

Our stay at Cameo Heights Mansion in Touchet was phenomenal. Everything about our stay exceeded anything that we had ever experienced in any other bed and breakfast.

"Oasis" is the name of the road driving you to the Cameo Heights and it is an appropriate coincidence. The Mansion is like a little jem on top of a hill, overviewing a splendid apple orchard. I was pleased to see so much attention to details, from the little welcoming chocolate to the refined materials used throughout the house. You feel like at home but with a twist: you are pampered!

The Cameo Heights Mansion far exceeded our expectations. The pictures are beautiful, but seeing the mansion first hand was unbelievable. The room was gorgeous, the food phenonmenal, and the service explicite. We only wish we could have stayed another day to experience more!!
5 on June 28, 2009
Our experience at Cameo Heights was one of pampered bliss. The room was spacious and romantic with a fireplace, eating nook, soft bed and a roomy jet tub. The candlelight fondue dinner was outstanding. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful time.

My husband and I stayed at Cameo Heights Mansion to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the moment we drove up to the mansion we were impressed with it's beauty and elegance. Alan was the first to greet us as we walked in the door. The hospitality and graciousness we were met with made us feel like we were family. We found our stay here to be relaxing, pampering, and a great escape from the daily grind. We are now planning when we can return!

If you are looking for a place where you can disconnect from the rat race and relax -- this is it. These people go above and beyond to make your stay worth the money you pay for it. Dining in your own room for any meal (though it does cost a little more for this luxury -- it's worth it if you want complete privacy during your stay -- and the food is to die for!) -- entertainment options (movies in your room OR in a theater-style entertainment center, pool, hot-tub, etc. All of this is well-away from any distracting cities (though close enough to reasonably big cities (20 miles from either Tri-Cities or Walla Walla) that will allow you civilization -- should you desire it, though we did not when we booked our stay). We chose the Spanish Suite -- which after seeing the others, we still think is the best (though they are all very nice). My wife and I choose B&Bs whenever we travel together -- and this one gets among the highest marks. If you are coming to this area and want time to yourself/yourselves -- you can't go wrong here. Oh -- one thing you'll want to be aware of -- the access road to this B&B is a little rough once you leave the highway (we drove a '99 Toyota Avalon, and while it was bumpy, we did just fine), though it isn't very far, and the amenities are worthwhile.

We loved this place and plan to go back for sure! It was very romantic for a getaway weekend! The innkeepers were very polite and professional, but it still felt very comfortable and homey. When we went for breakfast the next morning it was like mom was down there in the kitchen cooking us breakfast-LOVED IT! The room was beautiful! There was enough room in the tub for the both of us- Very nice! Thank you so much Mr and Mrs Fielding- Keep up the good work!

Amazing............That's about the only word that comes to mind. The English Tudor Suite was the the perfect place to spend Valentines Day with the love of my life. We planned a wine tasting event for a surprise birthday party/winter time get away and combined it with a murder mystary dinner. The whole weekend was OVER THE TOP. We had 5 couples in our group and it was the Perfect weekend. Lot's of things to do it was hard to get everything in. If you need to get away for a day its great because the one day stay let's you pamper yourself without breaking the budget. The price is high but well worth it. I STRONGLY recommend that you plan on getting at the mansion by 3:00 so you can enjoy it. We plan to do it again in the spring sometime.

My husband and I had a wonderful night at Cameo Heights Mansion celebrating our anniversary. The mansion was decorated beautifully for the holidays and we were impressed with Alan and Deanne's hospitality from the moment we came to when we left. We have stayed at some of the best bed and breakfast in North America, Arie in Canda, Colettes in Sequim Washington and many more. Cameo Heights is truly one of the best. We were pampered from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Cameo Heights is a must stay. The gourmet that comes out of the kitchen is the very best and portions are generous. The design and decorating of Cameo Heights are the very best. We are very lucky this bed and breakfast is only 25 mins from our house. We can vist often as we will most certainly do.
Thank you. We appreciate all the gracious guests, now friends, local as well as distant, who have stayed at Cameo Heights Mansion.

My new wife and I headed out to the wine country in Walla Walla for a relaxing weekend and certainly found all we wanted and then some in the Cameo Bed and Breakfast Mansion! The location is quiet and peaceful while the property itself is breathtaking and the mansion is gorgeous. Inside we found a very modern but quaint layout with all the modern amenities you could imagine while not taking away from the coziness and warmth you would want in a bed and breakfast. The owners were extremely friendly, the service was beyond our expectations and the food was excellent (we recommend the in-room fondue!).. All the above does demand a premium and throught the prices reflected that, however we certainly will look into Cameo again when we eventually return...

We just came off the best week-end, the wonderful memories are still floating in my mind. We celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary at Cameo Heights Mansion. We a wonderful, relaxing pampered week-end. The owners are incrediable. The food is fantastic, make sure you book your dinners. If you are coming from out of town be aware it is a 30 minute drive to get sometime to eat elsewhere and then you are missing out on one of the best offerings at the mansion. We are very lucky we live only about 30 miles away but it is a whole different world out at the mansion with rolling hills and western views. We did have the opportunity to see all the rooms and all are more fantastic than they look on the web.

Our stay at Cameo Heights was very enjoyable. The accomodations were luxurious. However, disappointments included the fireplace not being turned on yet, and the hot tub being just warm and not usable. We would definitely book again though, and expect these problems to be remedied. We did enjoy the shower and tub, the robes and all the nice details.

This high quality mansion is amazing located half-way between Tri-Cities and the Walla Walla wine regions. It's in a rural area, quiet and secluded...a good overnight spot if you're traveling for wine tasting. The mansion itself is gorgeous, food was excellent and made fresh by Deanne, the hostess. We couldn't take advantage of all the pampering opportunities as we only stayed night (pool, theatre, watching the meteor shower from the balcony, etc.) Hopefully we'll be in this area again so that we can stay come back and stay longer. Make sure that you plan on eating dinner at the B&B because it is excellent and of the rural location. It would be challenging to find your way down the private road in the dark!

I must say that I had a fabulous time at Cameo. I have recommended it to everyone I know at work. I can't wait to come back. I don't think I have ever been to a more wonderful place to stay. I can honestly say that Cameo was better than the Westin in Japan, the Four Seasons in Seattle, and the even the Fullerton in Singapore. The owners, Alan and Deanne, make you feel like you are part of the family. I wanted to cry when I came home and no longer got my 8 AM wakeup call with a warm fresh pastry and hot coffee delivered to my door the morning. They how to pamper and treat their guests to a feeling of home and luxury. I can't say enough about the dinners! Why eat in Walla Walla when you can have fine dining at the mansion? I can't see why. I can't wait to return. Especially now that I know there are three golf courses in range! Wine, fine food, and golf! It doesn't get much better than that!

We stayed at Cameo Heights on Mother's Day Weekend. This is one of the best B&B experiences we have ever had, and we've stayed at many B&B's and inns over the years. The setting, food, ambiance, hospitality, and amenities make this B&B a must see. It's a great value, too. The owner is an AMAZING COOK and you shouldn't miss the four-course fondue meal - extraordinary and tons of food! We recommend the chipotle cheddar and dark chocolate fondues. The pork is wonderful on the meat course as well. Bring your bathing suit if you are visiting in warmer weather as the pool overlooks an expansive orchard/vineyard vista. Plan to be pampered and to have a personal, private and romantic setting.

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves for our 15th wedding anniversary upon looking at various B & Bs online we chose the CHM as it looked like a fun and relaxing and place to stay. We were pampered from the moment we arrived until we left. Our room - the Greek Suite - was beautiful. We loved the bath tub. The private entrance to the pool was very handy as we spent a lot of our time out there. The home had a palethera of amenities. We didn't have to leave the premises our entire stay. We took in a movie in the home theater - be sure to bring your favorite DVDs as it is wonderful to watch on the big screen. They do have a limited amount of DVDs to borrow while you're there. The meals are extravagant. The wake up service alone would have satisfied our breakfast needs. We also stayed for dinners which were wonderful to eat on the balcony overlooking the pool. I managed to gain several pounds just in the short time we were there as we were so relaxed -not running from here to there - and very well fed. Overall a wonderful place to stay and we couldn't recommend it highly enough. We will definitely come back for later anniversaries.

My girlfriend and I just celebrated our one year anniversary. We went to the Cameo Heights Mansion and found that the photos on the website do not do the mansion justice. Every little detail was thought of and the people that own the mansion are absolutely wonderful. Every morning you wake up to a light knocking on the door and look outside to find a tray full of fresh coffee and a warm pastry that was just baked and includes fruit from an orchard on the property. If that wasn't enough, an hour later you walk downstairs to find a full meal being prepared for you. You are waited on by the chef who is also cooking meals for six other couples and the service is better than any restaurant. The grounds of the mansion are beautiful as well. The atmosphere is so relaxing, you may not want to leave. My recommendation is to stay in the French room. The skylights over the bed and the huge claw tub, marble shower, and amazing view are all spectacular. I could go on and on, but the important thing is that I would recommend this place to any couple wanting to get away for a romantic and relaxing weekend. Just don't use google to find your way there, we took a 70 mile detour thanks to google maps.

My husband whisked me away to stay at the Cameo Heights following Ironman Coeur d'Alene (an easy drive) and chose the Italian suite for the most luxurious night I've ever experienced at a B&B. Having lived in England and traveled extensively using B&Bs in both Europe and the US, I can honestly say this exceed my every expectation. (Except wireless connection - but why did I want to use my laptop while I was recovering from Ironman.) The food was plentiful, healthy and scrumptious. Deanne and Alan were a real treat to meet and dine with, as were the others staying at the Mansion. In short, I can't recommend the experience at the Mansion enough. Loved the Isenhower "house" wine they had available for us to purchase on site for dinner. Wish i could take any one of the rooms home with me with their luxuriously appointed details (linens, towels, lighting, flat screens, bathtubs, etc. etc.)

Our 39th Wedding Anniversary - 25, 30, 40 and 50 are major events, but 39 just doesn't seem so significant. Deanne and Alan, however, turned the event into the most memorable celebration of our marriage to date. The B&B/Mansion goes far beyond expectations with spectacular suites, a magnificent setting, and true friendship with our hosts. We enjoyed a quiet Anniversary dinner with Deanne and Alan the first evening - Deanne is an incredible cook/hostess - and a delightful four course fondue meal in our room the second night - the chocolate fondue was a meal in itself. Visits to each of the suites and a limo tour of the 600 acres of orchards surrounding the B&B/mansion were fascinating. Although less than an hour from our home, we escaped into a "far away and delightful world" for two days...... our 39th Anniversary was truly spectacular.

I worked in the travel industry for 36 years and have had opportunities to stay in luxuray hotels around the world, there were none that held a candle to Cameo Heights Mansion. My husband and I booked all 7 rooms for our friends and family to celebrate our 30th anniversary. All of us were in awe of all the attention to details, in the rooms, the food, the grounds, the theater room, the bedding, it exceeded our expectations. Recently, my husband and I had an opportunity to celebrate his birthday at the Cameo Heights Mansion. The Cameo Heights Mansion is beautiful and luxurious. Our room, the Greek suite, was indeed evocative of Greece and the furnishings and decor were stunning. The breakfust was sumptous and the hosts were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. Alex & Sheila

Cameo Heights Mansion was everything I could have hoped for in a b&b. The rooms were gorgeous and spotless, the tub was an unexpected treat, the food was so ymmy and the hosts could not have been more gracious. We will definately return!

The Mansion is beautifully decorated, the media room is spectacular. Such warm hospitality! The four course fondue dinner delivered to your room is divine as well as the oversized jetted tub with the complimentary home made bath soaps/saltz. It is the perfect romantic get away!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this bed and breakfast and will definitely be back. The mansion is gorgeous and our room (The Spanish Suite) was not only beautiful but also contained a plentiful array of ammenities (flat-screen HD TV, jetted tub, fire place, etc.) The food was to die for and the hospitality offered by the Fieldings was wonderful. What a wonderful time - we highly recommend!

The mansion was wonderful. Beautiful rooms with flat screen tv, DVD player, jetted tub and plenty of privacy. there was also a media room, hot tub and swimming pool. It was lovely. The best part was the service. My husband has several food allergies and Deanne Fielding (owner & cook) accommodated him without blinking an eye. Rather than making him separate (and usually less tasty dishes) limke most places we go to, she made him the same meal minus the ingredients he couldn't have. It was thoughtful and was just one indicator of how far the owners are willing to go to make our stay incredible.
