We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay much longer. This B&B was exceptional. The view of the Ocean and Olympic Range from one location was wonderful. The home was designed as a B&B and our hosts were careful to make sure their guests were well cared for. Our room was spacious and wonderfully furnished. This place is special..

We spent 2 nights at Eden by the Sea. We found the inn keepers to be gracious and helpful. The inn is set just outside the city in a gorgeous valley tucked between the Olympic mountain ranges and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The setting is absolutely amazing! Plan to spend some time on the grounds soaking in the sunset or watching the ships pass through the straits. We stayed 2nights in the genteel room which is the only guest room on on the ground floor and has its own separate entrance. It was spacious and inviting. There is no internet connection in this room; however just steps away in the living room or rest of the main house, the connection is strong. The property was thoughtfully designed by Evelyn to be a B&B with guest comfort and tranquility in mind. Her gourmet breakfast were a delicious start to the day. We found Eden by the Sea to be a peaceful retreat in an incredibly beautiful setting.

We booked for one night on our way home from another destination and B&B, the room was cute and clean but we were put off by the locked door that greeted us at first, and the room we had the bottom floor room, had a tiny TV, & the WIFI did not reach it at all. I would say this place had gorgeous views, and the breakfast was pretty good, but compared to other B&B's we've stayed at, it wasn't as inviting and it was almost eerily quiet the whole afternoon and night. Also note the afternoon refreshments are self serve kurig and tea kettle, i was actually assuming people and treats would be there from the description on the website. So my impression is, if you want to get away from all technology and have some good books to read while your here, this is the perfect place. But if your looking for a more updated and to me friendlier/homey environment another place would be my choice. It also seems to be more geared to older couples instead of couples in their 20-30s.

If you are looking for a quiet comfortable getaway, this is the place! It was very inviting and relaxing. We had beautiful weather, but could see ourselves spending time there in a storm. It was homey and cozy. Best of all was the food! FABULOUS breakfast and great company! Waking up to birds singing is a lot better than an alarm. The whole place was exceptionally clean. The home and grounds absolutely beautiful! They thought of everything we needed.

We stayed three nights at Eden by the Sea. Because we couldn't get the same room for all three nights, we got to spend our nights in three different rooms. This actually was great because we got to see the different views and different amenities of three different rooms. Our favorite was the Garden Room because the views out to three different directions were breathtaking. There was also a little deck right off the room, and a window right over the big tub so we could look out at the lawn, trees and out to the ocean. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and an equally lovely sunrise looking out these big clean windows. From the time we arrived until the moment we checked out, we were treated with warmth and attention by Evelyn and David. They saw to our every need, and went out of their way to make things perfect for us, they even baked our pizza for us when we decided to eat in one night. We felt thoroughly spoiled and catered to by this lovely couple. And like everyone else who stays at Eden by the Sea, I must mention the gift Evelyn has for cooking. she makes incredible breakfasts, in several courses each morning. One morning we had prawns for breakfast. And we had dessert too for breakfast!! My favorites were the little squash cups with almonds, the raspberry crisp, the prawns, the crepes, and oh, it was all mouth watering good. The grounds around the house are full of flowers and bright green lawns, with big trees near the ocean cliff (Strait of Juan de Fuca). We highly recommend this lovely B&B. If we have any criticism, it is that the first room we stayed in, the downstairs room, was so full of things, that we didn't have any table space to put our things when we checked in. We had to move bric a-brac, the owners own family photos, and other "pretty things" in order to have room to put our things down. On a positive note, though, this room had a huge walk in closet.

My wife and I stayed at the Eden by the Sea B&B for 2 nights around Valentines Day. We were in the smallest room they have, but it was plenty large for my wife and I, and all rooms have their own bathrooms. We were the only people saying there at the time, so we had the shared areas all to ourselves. It is a beautiful house and very clean. The owners couldn't make breakfast for us one day, so they comped us an equivalent amount at a local restaurant. It was DELICIOUS, as well as their recommendation for dinner at other places. Overall a wonderful experience!

This was our first time to a B&B. We were not real sure what to expect. After all you're going to stay at someone's private residence. I don't know much about other B&B's, but this one made me want to find out more. We received a gift card which knocked the price down for us, so we went with one of the nicer suites. La Suite De Jardin (The Garden Suite) was perfect. We came for only one night because that was all the time we had. It was just a quite night away for my wife and I on her birthday. We're expecting out third child, so we were kind of thinking this was our last chance to relax for about the next twenty years. Well that one night convinced us that we'll have to figure out how to do it for at least two sometime soon. Dave & Evelyn are great hosts. They do a good job of not being to intrusive and still offering that personal home like touch that you might expect at a B&B. Oh ya, should mention that the pictures of the views can't say enough. The Straits, that mountains, the Dungeness Spit, scenic Sequim area are all there to help you relax.

Evelyn and Dave are fabulous hosts. The bed and breakfast was classy, yet casual. The grounds were manicured and the inn spotless and very well decorated. We've had the pleasure of staying at 5 star hotels and resorts, and would need to give Eden by the Sea 6 stars. Evelyn is an amazing chef. I can't begin to describe the delicious 3-course breakfasts we enjoyed. Understated elegance and peaceful is how I'd define Eden by the Sea. To our right was views of the sea, and to our left was the beautiful snow-capped mountains. The stay could not have been more perfect. Did I mention how peaceful it was?

Born and raised in the Phoenix, Arizona, the Browns life experiences took them to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1980 where for 23 years they developed, then sold several businesses. Seeking a new entrepreneurial venture, the Browns dream from 1995 to 2001 was to live on the water somewhere in the USA as owners and operators of a Bed & Breakfast. This dream became a reality when the Browns purchased then later built on this Port Angeles, WA property, in March of 2000.

Dungeness Crab Crepes
Evelyn's very own golden crepes, stuffed with Dungeness Crab, Evelyn's herb blend, spinich and other delicacies. Rolled crepes are topped off with a soft nutty cheese then baked in the oven. Each is served with a variation of complimentary sides, such as roasted fingerling potatoes and roasted peppers. A favorite for all crab lovers.
