Peaceful getaway

5 on April 26, 2018

Domaine Madeleine is a cozy cottage getaway that is perfect for couples looking for relaxation. Each cottage has a tv, fridge, fireplace and indoor jacuzzi for two. Nestled on a property tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Port Angeles, lays a beautiful gated bed and breakfast home which offers several ‘suites’ within the main house and also several disconnected cottages to rent. This lovely bed and breakfast is managed by Stephen and Chris, who take wonderful care of the property. Chris is a very talented artist who has hand painted mesmerizing murals throughout the home and cottages. In the main home there is breakfast packages including to-go meals such as full breakfast items to wine and cheese. Also available in the main home is games and other amenities to make sure your stay is as close to perfect as it can get.

Amazing property. I thought I was entering a secret garden and then the views from my room of water were just incredible. I only stayed here for about 12 hours, but the stay, the property, the service, the breakfast reigned supreme! The nicest inn keepers ever!

Innkeeper Response
We're so grateful for your kind words and that you were able to enjoy this special place. We hope you'll be able to return to enjoy more of our home-like hospitality along with the treasures of the Olympic Peninsula.

A special place!

Long hikes through the National Park forests followed by a long hot bath in a deep tub - perfect! We especially enjoyed our morning coffee on the bench just outside the room with that incredible view of the strait. Perfect weekend!

Innkeeper Response
So glad you enjoyed the amazing view, beautiful hikes and outdoor adventure of the Olympic Peninsula, and the indulgences of an in-room Keurig beverage bar and jetted tub.

Would love to return

5 on January 15, 2017

For some reason this morning, I was compelled to check out the website for this Inn. We stayed here several years ago and a week after returning home, a package arrived in the mail for me. My husband surprised me by purchasing one of the beautiful bathrobes that you can enjoy during your stay. Looking at the pictures evoked a longing to return.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for the kind words and fond memories. Glad you love the comfortable robes! Hope you'll come back again soon.

Highlight of our trip on the Olympic Peninsula

4.4 on October 23, 2015

My wife & I spent 3 nights in the Ming room, and hated to leave. The staff are great, the breakfasts extraordinary, and the views spectacular. What we didn't expect was how beautifully the grounds are landscaped and how incredibly well decorated the rooms and common areas are -- both provide a feast for the eyes. This is a magical place with a strong spiritual essence - great to relax and savor.

Innkeeper Response
We are so pleased that we exceeded your expectations. Our team will be so happy to hear how much you appreciated all the hard work they put in to ensuring our grounds, rooms, and common areas help create a beautiful escape on the scenic Olympic Peninsula.

Can we rate this B&B six stars?

5 on September 15, 2014

If I could offer a six, seven or eight star rating here, I would! From the exceptional five-course breakfasts to the views, the gardens, the incredibly specious suites and the whole eco-setting and philosophy, I loved this B&B. It's t he perfect home-base for exploring the whole Olympic Peninsula! Word of advice: You need a minimum of 4 days here to fit in everything you want to do. More if time allows! Any less than that, and you'll be sorry. The innkeepers are great! The food is made in-house and grown nearby, and the setting is incredible. Don't let the name fool you, it used to be a French-inspired B&B, but has moved with the present owners into a more contemporary Asian feel. Loved it!

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for the kinds words... if we could give you 10 stars for being such an awesome guest, we would! :-) We hear from so many guests that they really wished they had stayed here longer, so I'm glad to hear you agreed and hope you were able to see everything you wanted to see on the Olympic Peninsula during your stay at Domaine Madeleine.

Amazing B&B

Staying at Domaine Madeleine was a happy accident. While traveling through the Olympic Pen. we were calling random locations searching for accomodations, and what a find. Outstanding rooms, service and personnel. The breakfast...WOW! I'll be back, and I'm telling all my friends.

Wonderful place!

We stayed for one night. I wish we had a week. It is quiet, comfortable and the breakfast is unbelievable! It would be a great place to write, a quiet retreat, or a romantic getaway. Jeri is a wonderful innkeeper.

Best b&b EVER
