We enjoyed our stay very much! We did have to buy our own toilet paper as we ran out and could not find more. The room was very charming and breakfast very good!

My husband and I do not even know where to begin. First, and foremost - Vern and Linny Jones are kind, patient, warm and welcoming. They had this vision, and they made it reality. To own a B&B, you have to have the right amount of everything; creativity, passion, consistent, reliable, etc. I can go on and on. But, they have it all. Their home felt like it was out of a Hallmark Christmas Movie - started when we Linny showed us to our room for the weekend. She had the Christmas music playing in our room (which we kept on most of the time, because why not), she had the fireplace going in our room (YES, you have a mini fireplace in your ROOM) then lead us to the other areas of their house which our mouths kept dropping around each corner we turned. The BREAKFAST - now, there is something to rave about. Vern - you need to think about adding another business venture, maybe just a breakfast spot in town? ;) Thank you BOTH for your hospitality. As we left, we told them we were booking for the following year, in 2018. Calling them today to book!
Thank you so very much for your wonderful review! It is our delight to share our home with others, and you are the perfect example of why we love doing so! Please plan to come again! We will be waiting with the music playing, the fire going and with open arms!
- Linny (innkeeper)

From the moment we walked from our car to this bed and breakfast, we felt welcomed. The owners, Linny and Vern were right there to greet us and help us get settled in. The room my husband and I stayed in was the Valhalla Suite. It was absolutely gorgeous. We had stunning views, a warming gas fireplace, and a fantastic jetted tub in a bathroom with a heated flooring. Both mornings we were there, we were treated with breakfasts made by Vern. Vern is an excellent cook; we felt bad for not being able to clean our plates. This is a bed and breakfast we highly recommend and will be returning to as soon as we're able!

This was our first stop on our trip and the only regret is we didn't stay longer. Great location to relax and unwind. Quiet and great views of the mountains. Breakfasts were outstanding and probably the best coffee I ever had, probably polished off two pots. Vern and Linny were great to talk to and hear their adventures in Alaska. Thanks again for letting stay at your beautiful Inn.

I was blown away by pretty much every aspect of this B&B. Our room, (the Valhalla Suite), was simply beautiful. Private, quite, with gorgeous views from both private balconies, and the softest linens I've EVER slept on. The owners are fantastic! Vern makes the most incredible breakfast which are delivered to your door, at the time you specify. Coffee is set up outside the room about 45 min before breakfast is served. Linny is such a warm, lovely person. You can definitely tell she loves what she does. And little Ruby,(their dog), is so cute! The B&B is very close to town, but far enough away that you feel like you're in another world. The two nights I spent here were exactly what I needed, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

My husband and I stayed in the Birch Treehouse room for two nights for a birthday weekend. The whole place was adorable and very homey! The room was smaller than we were anticipating (camera skills online!) but it was clean and very nice. It was quiet, the food was delicious, close to town and we loved having a pool and hot tub to spend time at with a gorgeous view. We would definitely recommend and would love to return next time we visit Leavenworth!

Great hosts, really enjoyed Linny and Vern. Vern's breakfasts were fantastic, especially the breakfast croissant. A quick jog to the Snow Lakes entrance to the enchantments, for those looking for a challenging hike. The room was very clean, bed and bathroom very nice (we booked the Valhalla suite), and we appreciated the private entrance and good privacy. Breakfast in our room fit our preferences.

Scandinavian Escape is a beautiful Bed n Breakfast nestled in the mountains just outside the city limits of Leavenworth. Upon our arrival we were greated by our host Vern and Linny and their lovely dog Ruby. We enjoyed their pool and spectacular views from the pool deck. Our room was very clean and laid out well. Breakfast in the morning was yummy! We will be back!

Once in Leavenworth East Leavenworth Road is located directly before the bridge leading into town if you are coming from Blewett Pass. It has a wide access. Turn left onto East Leavenworth Road. The road will twist and turn with residential homes on both sides. You will go through a definite "S" curve. After that, the road straightens out as far as you can see. WE LIVE ON THAT STRAIGHT STRETCH! Turn off E. Leavenworth Road on the LEFT at a gravel driveway marked with an old fashioned country sign with house numbers listed in a vertical row. (Our house number is listed. It is 8925) There is also a sign reading: "S.E." (Scandinavian Escape!) Travel SLOWLY down the driveway past three homes. Keep winding through the trees. Our inn sits on a hill at the end of the driveway!
