Richard and Theresa were wonderful, very gracious and so very friendly. My wife and I went here for our 10 year anniversary and we would definitely go back. Totally a place for some much needed R&R. Rooms were very clean, views were awesome, service and food were great! We booked the Mt Hood cabin, little on the higher end cost but in my opinion worth every dollar. Ned and Bethany

My husband and I chose the elopement package and the experience was amazing. Richard and Theresa made everything so special, and we look to go back for future anniversaries. The property and cabins are beautiful, and the attention to detail was unbelievable. The elopement package made us feel pampered and relaxed. Sincere thanks to Richard and Theresa for a memory that will always be cherished.

The owners were absolutely wonderful, very friendly and informative. The met us with great smiles and were there for anything we needed or had questions about. Even suggested dinner spots and things to do if we needed. The location is just across the river from hood river and there are many wineries and breweries close by to check out. The rooms exceeded our expectations as they had everything you could need. They even had snacks, coffee, and teas available free of charge, along with an extensive movie collection and games to check out, and if you want to purchase a bottle of wine, there were over 20 to choose from. The breakfast was homemade and delicious, they had yogurt, granola, and dried fruits to start, then eggs Benedict, and finished with scones...all made from scratch. I would recommend anyone to stay here for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins. Everything was perfect, the breakfast was amazing. Backwoods Brewing across the street had super good pizza and beer. I can’t recommend these cabins enough.

My husband and I stayed at Carson Ridge for one night in late December. Theresa was very prompt about answering my questions through email about check in before our stay and was very friendly when we actually arrived at the property. There were warm baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us at the lobby which made us feel right at home. We stayed in the Green Leaf cabin which was beautiful. It is one of the best in my opinion because it is a little farther forward than the other cabins and overlooks the meadow. The cabin was one of the coziest, nicest cabins I have ever stayed in. Richard and Theresa have done an amazing job of covering every little detail making it feel better than a home away from home. I am the kind of person who notices everything, so when I say every little detail I mean it. Whether it was the Lavender bath salts with actual lavender pieces in it, the board games or popcorn if you want to curl up by the fire and watch a movie, the hand selected local bottles of wine in room, even the toilet paper holder was in the theme of the cabin. One of my favorite parts was the jetted soaking tub. Ultimate relaxation. Everything was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights rest. The next morning we had the best homemade breakfast we could have asked for. Richard does all the cooking and Theresa does all the baking. She makes everything daily. and the honey butter was absolutely delicious. Theresa visited with us a bit at breakfast and was eager to give us recommendations on where to go and what to do for the day. She even recommended a great drive on the way to Hood River which had an amazing viewpoint of the Gorge. This was one of the best vacations we have ever had and even though it was only for one night you can see the care and compassion Theresa and Richard put into their property. Hopefully we can make it out for a visit every year because I cannot wait to go back!

We stayed here from Thursday to Sunday. Our cabin was gorgeous, full of details, completely immaculate and with a wonderful view. The premises are beautiful and the service is outstanding. We ate our breakfast in our cabin terrace every morning and everything was delicious every day. They were very accommodating with my dietary needs and still provided delicious options. Every corner of this property is magazine worthy. 100% recommended!
Thank you for the nice review. Its has been enjoyable updating the cabins to a higher level of quality, so we are pleased to read when guests enjoy the cabins. Cooking and baking is one of our passions and diet restrictions only add to the creative side of the breakfast we enjoy making. The grounds are the labor of love for us and our staff. Thank you for the compliments and we are pleased you enjoyed the property so much. Your recommendation is greatly appreciated.

Probably the most expensive place we've ever stayed, but such a treat!! The hosts thought of everything possible to make their cabins a home away from home. This is the place if you want a "special weekend" and a little spoiling.
