My husband and I chose the MoonDance Inn for our 25th wedding anniversary, and we are so glad that we did!!! :D It is a beautiful bnb right on a huge lake in northern Washington. The drive up from the Seattle area was spectacular. When you arrive, the Inn is in a quiet little alcove next to the lake. The views from the living and dining areas as well as their huge beautiful balcony/deck are breathtaking!!! The breakfasts that they catered to your individual needs/preferences was spectacular; and the owners are super helpful and really nice. They have charming and delightfully decorated rooms and bathrooms as well as really nice toiletries for their guests. The walks around the lake, through forests as well as near waterfalls and across an old stone bridge were spectacular. The MoonDance Inn is also wonderfully located next to many things to do, including: old town Bellingham, the mall/shopping, lots of nice restaurants, the Puget Sound, Mt Baker, as well as lots of lakes and forests. We had an amazing time and wouldn't have gone anywhere else!!! :D Thanks everyone at the MoonDance Inn for a special experience!!!

This was our first bed and breakfast and we loved it. We had the room with the view and it was beautiful. We were the only visitors that night. It was warm, county and very welcoming. We felt like we were miles away even though town was 10 minutes away. The bed was like sleeping in the clouds. I have gone as far as researching the Vera Wang bed to get one for myself. The bathroom was my favourite. The jetted tub and the 6 shower heads were amazing, yes I tried both! We are already planning our next visit! The power went out but we made the best of it and helped our host light the stove and make breakfast. The views are majestic and so is the sound of the pond.

We drove down with a group of friends to relax for a couple of nights. The place greatly exceeded my expectations. The setting is absolutely stunning, and the property is large and full of greenery, and private beach access. In the evenings, the owner fires up with outdoor fireplace, and we gathered around sipping wine. The next evening we all partook in a group bbq by the lake on the private beach. Breakfast was delicious. A very classy place.

We stayed at the MoonDance on a wet and stormy March weekend and met two people who we hope will become close friends, the owners Linda and Gary. They are wonderful people who have turned a nondescript old house on Lake Whatcom into a magical fairytale B&B. Their personal story of love lost and refound fits perfectly with the aura of warmth, comfort, and invitation they have created for their guests. Gary is a master craftsman who has personally designed and constructed the renovations that have turned the old house into such a beautiful masterpiece. Linda's touch in decorating has made every room wonderfully inviting and comfortable and her breakfast creations are mouthwateringly delicious. Unfortunately, due to the time of year and the weather, we were not able to fully experience the beautiful outdoor spaces they have created, but look forward to going back when we can. Although the location, building, furnishings, and food are among the best we have ever experienced at a B&B, the nicest element of the entire MoonDance experience was getting to know Linda and Gary. They are truly wonderful people.

I stayed at the MoonDance inn this summer and it was just magical! The setting is beyond words and the staff are so friendly. Linda and Gary made me feel at home. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone that is heading up to Bellingham!!

First time staying at a B&B. It was better than we had ever expected. The home is beautiful, the owners go above & beyond to make you feel comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious (GREAT coffee!) Lake views are exceptional. If it had been warm, we could have dived right off their private deck to go swimming. We hope to return for another visit when it's warmer. Thank you Gary & Linda!
