My fiancé and I booked an elopement package in January for May 19, 2018. Robert was the one handling the booking and told me I would get an email from the requesting more details for the wedding closer to the date. We payed a deposit (we were never told it was nonrefundable, nor does it say it in the invoice) and I waited moths to hear from them. I emailed them several times with little response or interest from them and even though they missed my flower request, they never apologized. We also never received a list of different cakes that apparently were available to us. On top of this unpleasant interaction with both, Robert and Linda, when we arrived to the property the day before the wedding, we were really disappointed with the Bed and Breakfast. Not only was it in a poor location (right by a highway) but it was also obvious that the inn keepers do not keep up with maintenance and landscape of the place. The “pub” where they intended to host our wedding night dinner was dirty and crowded. It was expected of us to share such a special dinner with other customers since they do not designate a special, intimate spot for the people they marry. The gazebo where we were expected to exchange vows, was covered in dead branches and falling apart. I wish I had taken pictures of this awful place since it looks NOTHING like the pictures here. Linda was a very rude woman and never returned phone calls or emails, it was always me reaching out. She even told my photographer that I was being a BRIDEZILLA because I wanted things how I wanted them, when I wanted them - very unprofessional. She was very unpleasant and I don’t think she should be in the business of customer service with such poor attitude. Very disorganized situation with all the emails and request being lost and offering no compensation or taking responsibility for their mistakes.

The Inn was selected to be our base of operations for a 50 year reunion of 6 former college roommates and their spouses. The Library and living room in the smaller building, as well as the gazebo were a perfect place to meet informally. Plus we made our own permanent table in the dining room. The Aldrich's and the entire staff bent over backwards to provide whatever we wanted, as well as made suggestions about activities, etc.

A lovely, historical inn, furnished with interesting antique pieces. The breakfast was delicious! The server & chef were very friendly & helpful, enhancing our experience. Just an FYI: Weston is in the mountains, so WiFi service is spotty. Also, because of the historic nature of the buildings & furniture, my allergies were pretty active. Otherwise, our stay was very enjoyable!

First time at a Bed and Breakfast and we were not dissapointed. Rooms were beautiful, owners were a pleasure, and the breakfasts were incredilbe. Pub was quaint, with a fireplace and even had entertainment with a duo playing guitars. Plenty of site seeing and the scenic drive to Simon Pearce was stunning. Thanks to the owners Linda and Bob for a great time.

Our stay was wonderful. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The food was delicious although breakfast doesn't need so much powdered sugar and if bacon fat is to be used on the potatoes that should be announced ahead of time as my wife is a vegetarian. Overall, it was absolutely lovely
