Wished we had stayed a extra day

3.6 on August 01, 2016

We spent two weeks traveling New England and this place was up there with the best for overall service. Loved the location and welcome, right down to the drink, cheese and crackers provided on our arrival while relaxing on the back lawn. Should you enjoy a good breakfast to start the day then you will not be disappointed with what is server up for you..

Very Cozy

4.6 on September 22, 2012

Sparkling personality, Shiela, met us outside with a very warm greeting and ushered us into her homey, comfortable house. It is filled with very interesting antiques and pictures. She has a flair for putting it all together. After showing us to our rooms she took me on a tour of the chickens, where we plucked three beautiful eggs from her chicken coop, watched the bees from her hives, and enjoyed the river down below. Then she seated us in front of the fire and served a yummy cheese and homemade jam, crackers and tasty wine. We went to the Bees Knees for dinner and enjoyed a fabulous blues singer while eating scrumptious food- a real find. In the morning, one of her students served us a perfect breakfast. Thank you, Sheila. Linda and Bill
