Cold Moon Farm is the best!

5 on February 26, 2018

Our family returns every year to Cold Moon Farm and every year we have the same fantastic experience. Ed & Irene and their staff are so kind and welcoming. It is the best way to ski Stratton Mt as a family. The farm offers the perfect balance of relaxation after a day on the slopes!

Cold Moon, Warm Home!

5 on February 19, 2018

I have been visiting Vermont for 20 years, and have always stayed in a BnB (and have always had a good experience). The owners of the BnB I stayed at for the last 10 years have moved to Hawaii, so I had to find a new place. The Cold Moon Farm is the nicest BnB I have ever been to, and it's not even close. - Irene and Ed are great, great people and hosts. The place is more of a luxury chalet than traditional BnB. The bedrooms are outstanding in every sense. - They have an amazing kitchen and serve amazing food. Breakfast was (to be honest, it was more like two completely different breakfasts) fresh, delicious, and scale busting. - They have two wonderful dogs in the house. - The staff is excellent. Friendly, helpful, professional...everything you would want. - It's a working farm! You get to spend quality time with their amazing animals, including feeding them and milking the goats. - They have a great "downstairs" room, fireplace, TV...again, everything you would want. I can't say enough about the place. I look forward to the next visit!

I found my home away from home!

Cold Moon B&B is the best B&B I stayed at. I came for two nights with two teenagers and all three of us loved it. Beautiful house, cozy and friendly, clean warm rooms, comfy beds, pool table, table tennis and board games to keep kids busy after a day on the slopes of Stratton mountain. Fireplace, comfy couches in the living room, two golden retrievers who would be by your side for hugs and kisses and belly rubs... And the owners, Eddy and Irine, the loveliest people, who greet and welcome you into their home like a family member! Breakfast- delicious! With homemade ricotta cheese and goat milk yogurt! Stratton mountain just a couple miles away... We will be back to Cold moon B&B soon I hope!

Wonderful spot in Southern Vermont

When my wife and I travel we look for unique and memorable experiences. Cold Moon Farm with hosts Ed and Irene are the best example of this we have enjoyed. They are wonderful! Every detail from the beginning to end are taken care of during your stay. Two extremely friendly Golden retrievers meet you outside. The opportunity to feed and milk a goat, wonderful breakfasts and an amazing view of the mountain out back all add to the fun. I highly recommend this special spot. you will not want to return home. Ed and Irene are friends for life. D.Y. Texas

The Magical Cold Moon Farm B&B

5 on April 26, 2017

Cold Moon Farm B&B Is nothing short of magical. Irene & Ed are absolutely lovely, they share the talent of being excellent cooks and charming hosts. While the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the farm was our favorite part of the trip. Sarah, Frank & Matt took us around the farm and let us help feed the animals and even taught us how to milk the goats! The community at Cold Moon is very kind and made our stay incredible. Don't forget to purchase goat milk soap from Irene-it's the best!

Exceptional Get Away

Our stay at Cold Moon Farm B&B was outstanding. Irene and Ed provide a wonderful experience in every way, going to great lengths to personalize our visit while making available so many comforts and amenities. Their expansive yet cozy home with a working farm is nestled away in a fantastic location, near to all we wanted to experience but where we could truly relax. You have to experience their gourmet farm-to-table breakfast as the sun gently rises above their mountain overlook, or as you take in wonderful views of giant snow flakes drifting down all over the farm to begin to know what their B&B is all about. We truly enjoyed our experience, and left feeling very much like family with Irene and Ed, and can see why both couples and families find their way Cold Moon Farm B&B.

A great Vermont Skiing weekend with a personal touch.

From the moment you meet Ed and Irene, you know you have come back to a home you never knew you had. This couple make you feel like family and treat you like one. The breakfast spreads were excellent. Our boys loved the animals and we enjoyed the privacy of an in room massage. Skiing in Vermont was also great with Ed hooking us up with all we needed for a hassle free experience. The goodbyes were half hour long.... Will be back to see you soon...

Had another great stay!

We visited with our family of 4, including a 3 & 6 year old. They loved milking the goats, visiting the chickens, ducks and sheep, not to mention the 3 beautiful golden retrievers. Cold Moom Farm provided the right amount of rest and relaxation to balance out the work we put in skiing nearby Stratton. And Ed & Irene couldn't have been better hosts. We're looking forward to next year!

An exceptional stay

5 on July 01, 2015

My family and I stayed at Cold Moon Farm for two nights. It was our first trip to Vermont, so we wanted to get a real taste of the local culture. The stay at CMF exceeded all hopes. My children (6 and 9) had a wonderful goat with the human and animal residents. Irene and Ed are true gems. Wonderful and thoughtful hosts, and they seemed to truly enjoy spending time with our kids and showing us around the farm. We're already planning a stay for this fall to enjoy the view of the mountain out of the spectacular living area and spend more time chatting with the wonderful hosts....and maybe watching the kids play with the baby goats. Who knew that baby goats love a good game of tag?!
