We really enjoyed our stay at Brad and Jacquie's B&B! Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was wonderful. And although we did not use the pool, it looked to be very well taken care of and clean. Thank you for the pleasant stay!
Providing a relaxing and enjoyable stay is exactly what we hope to do for everyone. Thanks !

The Inn At Buck Hollow Farm is the kind of place that makes your soul feel whole again, away from the hustle and bustle of the tri-state area. The rooms are clean, neat and quiet. The beautiful sun-room is filled with tons of natural light, a gas fireplace, gorgeous stone floors, and most importantly, lots of charm. We also loved the 2 dogs and being able to bring our own with us to enjoy the nature as well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get away.

Unfortunately, we came to stay at Brook Hollow a bit late in our two week road trip around NE and Canada, so by the time we got there we were pretty tired - but we did appreciate the rest we got in the comfy bed and the room was wonderful. We really enjoyed meeting everyone and the breakfast was delicious and homemade. We were also faced with the one rainy day during our trip, so we did spend too much time napping in the room - but, I'll say that it was warm and inviting and we really enjoyed our naps :)
I hope guests know how much we appreciate hearing these things (and even appreciate when there is constructive criticism).

The Inn at Buck Hollow Farm offers a nice night's stay in a beautiful area of Vermont that is nearby plenty of activities. The owners are very hospitable and great resources for things to do and places to eat. We drove to Smuggler's Notch (35 mins) and at the Family Table in Jeffersonville (30 mins drive). The setting is picturesque. We stayed in late June. The walking trail was a bit overgrown and waterlogged, but I took a walk on the road in the morning that was fine. The Breakfast was super! Pool and hot tub are available too. Wifi worked well. Stayed June 2016

This was the Vermont vacation we envisioned. It's only 35 minutes from downtown Burlington but it felt like we were transported to a quiet, relaxing world, where we were surrounded by fall foliage and rolling hills. The rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable (we stayed in the Foliage room) and the bathrooms were immaculate. Best of all, it really felt like home. We spent a few hours lounging in the living room, reading and drinking tea. Breakfast was terrific too, we got to taste the maple syrup from Brad and Jacquie's backyard. We even got to venture into the sugar shack where they harvest the syrup each spring! It was the first time we've traveled to Vermont, and Buck Hollow Farm perfectly matched that pastoral image in our heads. This gets our highest recommendation.

My stay for 3 days at Buck Hollow B&B was excellent! Brad and Jacquie welcomed me and I enjoyed our conversations. The B&B is decorated in antiques, very homey, and I was pampered. To the big moose on the bed, to all the details; New England coffee in the morning overlooking the field The scenery is breath-taking! Oh, did I mention I'm from FL? Nestled in the hills, watching the birds in the feeder and Brad throwing the Frisbee to the dogs! The bed was comfy, rooms spotless. I rate this a 12 on a 1-10 scale. I'm leaving this morning with Vermont Maple Syrup and a Buck Hollow mug from the gift shop. I will be back, staying here to visit family nearby! Thank you Brad and Jacquie!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a wonderful experience, the room beautiful, the food excellant and the hospitality great. It was fun to meet all the guests and had wonderful conversation. Our dinner at St. Albans at Jeff's Maine Seafood was the best. The foliage in Vermont was beautiful. What a wonderful trip!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buck Hollow. With warm hosts, a cozy room, an excellent pool and hot tub, and a gorgeous sun room, this place cannot be beat. Our breakfast was marvelous every morning as well. The area has so much going on (numerous festivals and get-togethers, including this weekend's French Heritage Day in nearby Vergennes). We loved spending two of our days touring the nearby towns, and the other swimming in the pool and reading in the sunroom. It was ideal! If you are looking for a relaxing getaway in a picturesque setting, you can't go wrong here.

Brad Schwartz was in touch regularly prior to our arrival with a newsletter and welcoming information. Upon arrival we experienced an inn and hosts who were helpful & friendly. The amenities were plentiful -- from snacks to swimming pool. Breakfasts were nicely prepped with menu provided the night before.

It was our first time at this B&B and for sure we will go back. Lots of planned details from the owners, the rooms are decorated with lots of attention. The staff and owners are very friendly and make you feel at home the minute you arrive. Make sure to visit their antiques barn.

We very much enjoyed the scenery. Guest services were terrific and there were lots of dedicated spaces for guests. Breakfast was excellent as well. Brad, Jacquie and Sheri did a great job hosting us. We stayed only for one night but wished we had time for 1 or 2 more.

My husband and I along with our 2 children stayed for 5 days in April of 2012. We all absolutely loved every minute of our stay and even my children ages 6 and 10 can not wait to go back. The staff was so welcoming and friendly including our K-9 friends. We did not realize how much there was to do, every day was something new, except looking for Morris the Moose, hopefully next time we get to see him :-) The breakfast was fabulous, picture perfect for sure. And for the price, you definitely will not get better than this. No more hotels, The Inn At Buck Hollow showed my family how vacation should be!! Thank you to everyone there for a wonderful week and we cannot wait to see you again! :-)

My wife and I stayed for two nights. Loved the Inn, ambiance, and breakfast was wonderful. For our first time here, felt like we were home. Brad and Jackie are excellent Innkeepers, and not only keep a beautiful Inn but are wonderful people to sit and talk with. We have stayed at a number of BnB's throughout the US; this was one of the best we've been at. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights, and left with mixed feelings. When we arrived, there was nobody around to greet us, but it was a Friday night, so that was ok. We grabbed the note that was left out for us explaining where our room was, when breakfast was served, and other things to know about the place. Our room and the common area were beautiful, though there was no sound privacy in the room. The next morning, we came down for breakfast at the time highlighted on the note, but there was no hot breakfast, only another note stating that there would be none today accompanied by some granola, fruit, and store bought pastries. Their reason for doing so was fine and understandable, but we wished that we had been notified the night before. We would have made plans for a breakfast elsewhere. Before heading out, we went for a walk around the property, which was nice, but in the absence of anyone at the house, it was hard to know where to go. Some information about the trails would have been helpful. The next morning we did receive breakfast, and unfortunately it was mediocre. The bread pudding/french toast was dry and the coffee was poorly made, clearly they didn't use enough coffee grounds. Uncharacteristically for a B&B, we never once saw Brad or Jacquie, just their high-school age daughters, who were friendly enough, but not necessarily attentive. While the location was amazing, we won't be coming back.

My husband and visit Buck Hollow every year, and we love it! The farm is gorgeous, the views are amazing, and the peace and quiet feed the soul. If you love mountains, walks in the woods and friendly people, Buck Hollow is the place to be. Close to shopping (Outlets) and Burlington, but totally secluded.

Ok, here is the deal - we planned a trip to be leaf peepers. Never having stayed at a B & B we surfed websites and stumbled across the Inn At Buck Hallow and their newsletters. We feel instantly in love with the feeling of the inn. We were not disappointed, you show up and fall in love. It has a feeling of driving up to a friends house. What an amazing adventure. We stayed two nights and have plans to return to the "yellow room" someday in the future. Gizmo and Utah were a welcome blessing. The food was amazing - apple cinnamon pancakes, maple syrup from their trees, a special blended juice. This place made us feel special and happy. Brad, Jacquie and Sherry - thank you for making our vacation such a wonderful trip. You all are the best and we will see you sometime in the future.

My boyfriend and I spent one night at this Bed and Breakfast last weekend and had such an amazing time. It was our first time at a Bed and Breakfast so we were not sure what to expect. Upon arrival we were greeted by Kumba, Cosmo and Gizmo (the cat and 2 dogs). ADORABLE! Unfortunately the owners were not there that weekend but we were still very happy with the person in charge that weekend, a really sweet girl by the name of Adele. The inn was very charming, it felt like a home away from home. Grounds were clean and the rooms were all very charming. The pool and hottub were great assets and we made use of both of them. The inn is approx 30 minutes from Burlington which was nice as we really wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life. This is the perfect place if you are looking for that. Breakfast was quiche with some fruit salad and a croissant. Was very good. We will be returning in the near future and we do regret not being able to have stayed a second night :( It is definately a keeper in our books and the memories will remain of this wonderful little place. Miss you Gizmo!

My sister, and I and a friend spent one night at the Inn and were very impressed with it. The owners happen to be away that weekend, but the lady in charge was great. We found the accommodations were great. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. And we are hoping to be able to stay there again and would highly recommend it to our friends. You have a beautiful place.

Buck Hollow farm has very friendly hosts, and the breakfast was sufficient but not amazing. The location is very beautiful and the rooms are well-kept. However, the rooms do lack any sense of privacy -- the porches between rooms adjoin, and we could hear the television and every sound made in the next room's bathroom as though it was in our room (yes, gross). Overall, I'd say this is a beautiful place to have your entire family rent for a weekend with dorm-style expectations, but certainly doesn't suffice for a romantic getaway.
5 on October 10, 2010
My husband and I visited during the beautiful fall foliage and were very pleasantly impressed at the entire experience at Buck Hollow Farm. We checked into our room and then spent a leisurely evening in the warm and comfortable sun room on huge sofa. Plenty of TV stations, in addition to plenty of interesting antiques. We hope to make another visit soon and spend a entire week in the suite.

My husband and I spend a weekend in the Burlington area every year and stay at different B&Bs. We loved Buck Hollow Farm!! The setting is perfect: quiet, beautiful, yet close enough to things to do. The room was clean and cozy. The food was exceptional. The owners made us feel at home and comfortable. How nice it was to get out of the car after a 6 hour trip and to jump into the clean, refreshing pool. We cant wait to go back. This is one place we will definately return to.

Over the past 4-5 years, my husband and I have had the privilege and pleasure of staying at this lovely B&B. Brad and Jacqui open their home to all including the four legged kind. We have never been disappointed in our stays. During one March stay-- we were snowed in for a couple of days and found this to be one of the most relaxing and lovely vacation we had. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well furnished. Their great room is lovely and very comfortable with lovely leather sofas and chairs, a large TV and a wood stove. Out of the windows which fill nearly 2 sides of the room, you can watch many birds and Brad and Jacqui's own four legged friends. There is a pool and a hot tub available to all guests. You will love your stay as you are greeted warmly by Gizmo (who has his own facebook page) and Utah. Many kitties also inhabit this lovely place-- so see Vermont and stay here. You won't regret it.

My partner and I had a wonderful three-night stay here. It was March, and the weather was still cold, and yet we still had some great walks around the grounds. Brad and Jacquie are fabulous hosts at the Inn of Buck Hollow Farm. We came up from Maryland for a 5 day anniversary trip with our two young sons, 8 years and 16 months. The accommodations are country, eclectic, and comfortable. Our children were made to feel at home and valued as visitors to the inn. The inn has a port-a-crib for infants/toddlers and the Presidential Suite is perfect for a family of four. Brad and Jacquie are very knowledgeable of the area and can provide guidance on entertainment and dining for all ages, interests, and budgets. The food is wonderful, filling, and most importantly fresh! We felt as if we were at home from the moment we arrived. The sunroom is great for lounging, enjoying music, and curling up with a great book. The Inn at Buck Hollow is a great place to stay while exploring all that Vermont has to offer, or simply to stay and relax for a few days without ever leaving the property! The Inn at Buck Hollow Farm has now been added to one of our many yearly traditions! We cannot wait to come back! Thank you! ---The Lopez Family

All B&Bs are unique and interesting and The Inn at Buck Hollow is no exception. The Inn was beautifully appointed, the rooms comfortable, immaculate and the antiques and furnishing fit the decor nicely. The Inn has several acres to explore, horses and a Sugar House where they make their own syrup for breakfast. The breakfasts were fit for a 5 star restaurant, sumptious and filling and served the way Mom would when she wanted to spoil you. Since I had a nut allergy they were careful to plan the menu so there was no nuts anywhere near me. There was plenty of information about local points of interests, restaurants and shopping. On the website it clearly mentioned that there were dogs and cats present. I'm used to having animals, so I wasn't bothered by their presence. The animals were obviously used to meeting and greeting strangers, extremely well mannered (even the cats) and happily escorted me as I explored the grounds. They were kept out of the dining and common areas and were not begging for attention, although they were happy to receive it from anyone who cared to pet them. The Inn is definitely out in the country and for anyone who's not used to silence it could be a bit disconcerting until you get used to it. It is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city and will lower the blood pressure. The only cons were minor -- they were having problems getting the wireless internet at first, however, this was resolved. Also, the television was fairly tiny, however, I didn't come to watch television, so this was a minor problem. There is no doubt that the next time I wish to stay in Vermont, I would call Brad at The Inn at Buck Hollow Farm without hesitation.

This was our first stay in a B+B and it won't be the last. We were travelling from Cleveland to Quebec City and we always like to stay in Vermont. Brad and Jacquie were on vacation at a HS reunion and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was excellent, better than expected, the pool was real nice and the animals were great. We were told that Gizmo walks YOU thru the woods, not vice versa and that is exactly what happened. If you want to get away from it all in a wonderful setting with friendly people this is the place to be. We will be back soon.

Buckhollow Farm is our "home away from home" We live in Montreal and whenever we feel the need to get away from the big city, we come here. The facilities are super. There's a great outdoor hot tub and wonderful places to walk. Breakfast is ample and well cooked and prices are really reasonable.

A real find! A private, peaceful place where we were able to bring our black labrador retriever and feel at ease with him in the inn and on the spacious property in the country. Our dog enjoyed the owner's two friendly dogs and all the open space on the property! Every morning we were treated to a HUGE, delicious country breakfast (and our dog, a homemade biscuit), then we could sit in the cozy sunroom and enjoy the beautiful snowy scene for a while before heading out to snowshoe on the property or just go for walks. Gizmo, one of the owners' dogs, lead us on some great hikes up the hill on the trail. Smuggler's Notch ski area is nearby so we we were able to try out snowboarding for the first time. And Craftsbury Outdoor Center is a little over an hour's pretty drive from the inn. We went cross-country skiing there. So nice to be able to come back to the inn and get warm by the wood stove in the sunroom! The owners and their staff were so friendly and helpful, we truly felt very welcome here all week. My husband and I have stayed at a lot of "dog-friendly" inns before, but this inn, unlike a lot of others, truly met our every need in terms of value, comfort and fun! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A delightful place for lovers of big friendly dogs and cats. Very comfortable bed. This place is too far from everything and difficult to find sfter dark. Unreliable and slow internet access.
One of the downsides of being a "country inn in the country" is satellite internet access, which (like satellite TV) can occasionally become degraded by weather or technical issues. Besides, who needs the internet while on vacation ?

My husband and I have stayed here before and it was a wonderful experience. Brad, Jacquie and Cheri were so welcoming and accommodating. Jacquie catered to our special dietary needs and everything was delicious. The pets are extremely sweet and fun and make you feel like part of the family. We loved it so much, that we we had our private wedding ceremony in the sunroom last weekend. The grounds are gorgeous for pictures and Brad & Jacquie made it such a memorable time for us. We were 'snowed in' here for a few extra days! Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend the Inn at Buck Hollow Farm!

We held fond memories of our visit 4 years ago and brought friends along for this weekend's encore. We couldn't feel more welcome or more at home. Even the animals treated us as their own. (It's clear, though, that "pet exposure" is optional). We enjoyed a winter wonderland hike with complimentary guide dog, Gizmo. Great!

This is our second stay at the Inn at Buck Hollow Farm. As was the case the first time, once we pulled into the drive we never had to leave. The farm itself is huge, with enough trails to hike or snowshoe (snowshoes were provided here) for hours. The Inn pets are really something, especially Gizmo, a one-of-a-kind dog who will guide you on your walks through the woods. The rooms are comfortable and feel very much like home. Breakfast is simple but good with everything homemade, and the service is excellent. Dinner for sale, complimentary coffee and hot chocolate, and snacks for purchase any time mean you can arrive, relax, and not have to worry about a thing.

The Inn at Buck Hollow Farm is our home away from home. We have been guests at the Inn for 16 years because of its special charm, unique facilities and tremendous service. The Innkeepers go out of their way to make you (as well as your pets!) feel welcome. The antiques are lovely, the surroundings are beautiful and the breakfasts are delicious. It is truly a four season retreat. We love it!

One of the most relaxing getaways we have ever had. Though it was just a two day stay it was a perfect break from work. The room was furnished with country antiques and the bed was very comfortable. The hot tub with the light falling snow was magical and calming. We loved the breakfasts! They provide snowshoes to guests, so we snowshoed through the endless trails on the property in search of Morris the Moose. Anyone who sees him, gets a gallon of maple syrup. This was a wonderful escape from our busy lives and a great way to revitalize. Brad and Jackie, were great hosts and made us feel were at our home away from home. The animals, dogs, cats and horses add to that wonderful country feel. Can't wait to return!!!

Accommadations were nice but did not have the at home feel that I'm use to when staying at B & B's. Food was just ok.
