Designed by famed architect W.R.B. Wilcox, this home has been beautifully restored with historical sensitivity and modern convenience. Winner of a 2016 Vermont Preservation Trust Award, staying here is to experience the comfortable life of the early 20th century. Our breakfasts receive rave reviews and are created with locally and hyper-locally sourced ingredients including pork, eggs, vegetables, and of course, maple syrup!

After traveling the world as an academic, I returned home to Franklin County, Vermont where I began renovating historic homes. Sharing those properties and our fantastic food with as many people as possible has since become my passion. I have two adult children (my daughter helps to run the family businesses) and a thirteen year old son. During the off season I often close the inn for a few months to go traveling. I look forward to meeting you!
