Perfect B&B

5 on November 10, 2016

My wife and I visited Vermont for a leaf-peeping vacation in October. Our first destination was Applewood and we were so glad that it was! Applewood is a beautiful, historic, charming and quaint B&B and Ralph and Nancy (the hosts) are the best. Breakfast was hot and delicious. The accommodations couldn't have been more comfortable - we stayed in Sarah's room on the first floor. Our only complaint is that we didn't stay there long enough! I highly recommend Applewood Manor for your vacation or even a business trip. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful B&B

We spent 4 nights in Noah's room at the Applewood Manor Bed and Breakfast during fall color season. What a great experience! The rooms were furnished elegantly and Ralph and Nancy were such friendly and accommodating hosts. Each breakfast was unique and delicious. The house was spotlessly clean and gracious Nancy had suggestions for places of interest. Paul and Carol from Colorado

Wonderful B&B

This lovely B&B was everything we wished for. The home was so comfortable, the grounds and gardens were beautiful, the rooms were so well appointed and cozy, the breakfasts were very good and the hosts, Nancy & Ralph, were so gracious and friendly. We had lovely chats with them and the other guests from all corners of the world. We will definitely be returning during the snow season for another vacation.

Absolutely Fabulous B&B!!

We had such a wonderful experience with Nancy and Ralph at their beautiful home. They were so friendly and accommodating, and breakfast by Ralph was absolutely delicious. Nancy was wonderful about serving each guest and assuring we all had our needs met. The room we stayed in was cozy, but just the right amount of space for us, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous and we enjoyed exploring some of the land. The house is beautifully maintained while preserving the historic charm. We will most certainly stay at Applewood Manor the next time we are in Vermont!!

The decor is spectacular and I can't remember when I had a better night sleep, due to the quiet and the comfortable bed! And the breakfast was incredible! We can't wait for our next visit! Thanks Nancy and Ralph!

Amazing Bed and Breakfast

This was our second stay at Applewood Manor and we can´t wait to come back again. It is a fantastic house with a extraordinary atmosphere. Nancy, Ralph, Maya, Alice and Samson are the perfect hosts and the breakfast is a dream. Now we visited you during the very very hot summer and this winters coldest week. I think we will try autumn next time. Take care and see you next time. Maria, Anders och Felicia.

I was so excited when my husband suggested we plan a road trip to Vermont for October 2015. My immediate response was to plan to stay at Applewood Manor Bed and Breakfast. The location is perfect access to all the beautiful Vermont Byways, the accommodations are perfect for a good night's rest and delightfully delicious breakfasts are the best way to start the day. The morning coffee, perfectly wonderful mattresses and bed linens, library filled with a wide range of reading materials, peaceful property to stroll around. It will not take very long to settle in and feel very much like you are home. If you are planning a trip to central Vermont, Green Mountain College, Castleton University this is perfect for your overnight stay.

This historic structure, dating from the late 1700's, is in immaculate condition, exquisitely furnished in the period, and super clean. There are no friendlier hosts than Nancy and Ralph and Ralph cooks a great breakfast. In short, A Real Delight!
