We stayed in the garden basement room , very cute and spacious. . Lots Of light too . It had a little kitchen too and huge bottled water jug . A really cozy room Because we were in the basement room, in the morning they delivered coffee outside our door , how nice is that . Breakfast was great . The only small thing was in our room( basement ) was a dehumidifier , understandably , but its kinda noisy. We were going to unplug it but it was "full" so it stoped .

We enjoyed our stay here very much- this is a 5 minute walk to downtown Burlington which is also a huge plus. Very well kept, everyone was extremely nice and accommodating and the breakfast burrito was the best I've ever had. Another plus was given the fact this is on a main rd and directly across from a frat house we we're worried about noise but we couldn't have been more wrong. This is one of quieter B&B's we've stayed at- exceptional sound proofing in both the interior and exterior walls. We both got a great night sleep! Highly Recommended! Our stay was in the Fisher room.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay in the Van Ness room. The staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Small surprising touches like fresh baked cookies left in the room were a treat. The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious and they do a great job with dietary restrictions substitutions. The sun room area has board games and magazines you can borrow. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We stayed at the lang house for a one night getaway to Burlington, Vermont. It was the first bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. The garden room was beautiful, comfortable, and clean and we hope to be able to stay there again!

We recently stayed at the Lang house on main in Burlington a week ago and we really enjoyed it as this was our first bed and breakfast experience. I have to rave about the service, everyone was very kind and helpful. The food was incredible! I had the same thing for breakfast both mornings because it was that good. We stayed here with another couple and I do have to mention that my husband had to kill a rather large bug in their room (Captains Lyon) the first night, but other then that everything seemed sanitary and we didn't have any issues in our room at all. Do not want to sway anyone from staying here because it was excellent, but I had to give my honest opinion as well.

Julianna was absolutely fantastic with recommendations of what to do while we were in Burlington. The room was charming but I do wish the bathroom had been a bit more than a 3/4 bath with a shower pan. However, staff and location were both wonderful!

Stayed in the recently renovated Garden Spa Room with a two person Jacuzzi and beautifully tiled shower with body jets.I had to rip myself out of the most comfortable bed in the morning for breakfast and Im so glad I did. The staff was super pleasant and the service was great. The breakfast choice was by the far the hardest decision each day. My partner and I opted to try the sweet and savory choices both mornings. Magnificent-- didn't need to eat again until dinner. The location is great. We were easily able to walk most of the Burlington area with ease. Will definitely be planning a trip back just to stay here! Thanks Lang House for the great experience.

We enjoyed the welcoming and helpful staff, the exquisite breakfasts they prepared, and the comfort of our room. It's one of the nicest B&Bs we've ever stayed at. Walking distance to the lovely downtown and lakefront. (be aware that it is downhill to downtown and long uphill coming back.) We enjoy walking so we went back and forth multiple times each day. The food was very high quality and local and organic as much as possible. Breakfast was always a delight.

This b&b is full of charm. The staff were both very cheerful and very helpful. The room was lovely and immaculate. Breakfast was great, with a choice of three main courses and a few extras. We decided to have a cheese plate and a bottle of wine in the evening, and those were very good too. All in all, a great stay. We'll definitely come back the next time we are in Burlington.

We spent one night here while driving through New England. We had a friendly welcome after parking in the convenient lot. We enjoyed cookies on our way out to explore Burlington using the map that the inn keeper marked for us based on our interests. Our room was quiet and clean, with nice toiletries. We had a huge, delicious breakfast in the morning (breakfast burrito and fresh fruit crepe) after enjoying early bird coffee in the sitting area.

My husband and I visited the Lang House for the second year in a row, and it again exceeded our expectations. We especially enjoy staying in the Carriage House. Last Year we stayed in the McClurkin upstairs and this year we stayed in the Galloway downstairs. Both were great- the McClurkin is perhaps larger with more room to spread out. Two things stand out at the Lang House: The Staff and The Breakfast! The people who work in the House are so friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. They give really good reccommendations. The breakfasts have always been amazing and plentiful- you do not leave hungry! I also appreciate the "little touches" that make the Lang House great..i.e. the cookies and candy left out to enjoy, the fact you may purchase beer (alot of them local) and champagne right there to enjoy in your room, the guest fridge available for use...the list goes on and on. Thanks again for making our trip to Burlington a wonderful one!

Clean room with all you could ever ask for and a friendly, polite and helpful staff and the location puts you within walking distance of just about everything worth seeing and doing in Burlington.

Our stay at the Lang house began when we pulled into the parking lot of an adorable house filled with charm. We arrived too early to check-in, but were guided with a map of Burlington and suggestions of things to visit before checking in. There was a great farmer's market only 2-3 blocks away lined with yummy cheeses, maple syrup, wines, and chocolates. When we entered our garden sweet there were fresh cookies and water waiting at the door. The room has a gas fire place, T.V., king bed, day bed, and a separate area for the shower and spa tub. There were fresh towels, robes, and slippers to be used at our convenience. We spent the rest of the evening exploring Church St. and a local brewery. After a warm bath and well-rested night we were delighted to have complimentary coffee brought right to our front door in the morning. The house serves a delicious made-to-order breakfast that you can choose to add to your morning routine. I couln't have asked for a more convenient and lovely stay in Burlington.

Stayed there in late August and had a wonderful time. The staff was super friendly and eager to help, and breakfast was far beyond what I expected! They were even able to arrange chocolates and a cheese plate to be delivered to the room, as well as recommended local restaurants (they'd have made the reservations for me too, but I had already taken care of it.) I'd be happy to stay there again, and look forward to my next visit. A+!

A very comfortable and welcoming home perfectly situated between and within walking distance of the University of Vermont and downtown Burlington to Lake Champlain. Great hospitality. Hearty 3-choice breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Priced right.

We stayed in the Vincent Room one night in June. The room was comfortable. We spent the evening downstairs watching TV and drinking beer as the air conditioner was off and there was a nice breeze. After we got up to our room, we turned off the AC and opened the ceiling window and had a very nice night's sleep.

We had a nice stay (walking distance) at Lang House, close to dwntown, quiet comfortable; very good breakfast; room a little small for three. Would return but in a larger room.

I am so glad that my travels will be bringing me back to Burlington as I can't wait for another excuse to stay at Lang House. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had at a B&B. The smell of baked goods wakes you up in the morning (but not too early) and the 2 meals I was lucky enough to have were perfect. And as a plus were not so heavy that I needed to take a nap afterwards, like some B&B's. The location is perfect a short walk to downtown which is great because I did not want to deal with parking down there. Cozy, friendly and clean! Really everything that a B&B should be.

We had an excellent weekend stay at The Lang House. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We didn't need to use our car (love the free parking) for the entire weekend because most major attractions are an easy walk away. It gets better: the breakfasts were incredible! There were three great options to choose every morning and service came with a smile. Thank you, Lang House!

Not a fan of New Years Eve, but our favorite musician was performing in Burlington & gave us an excuse to actually travel & enjoy the celebration. With that said, we found the Lang House and it's ideal setting so close to Burlington central, and had a wonderful stay. My better half is vegan, and absolutely tested the staff each morning in preparing breakfast. Not wanting to repeat, the chef prepared her very interesting & thoughtful breakfast's daily. The staff's warmth, attentiveness & charm made our stay wonderful. We stayed in the Galloway Room, and enjoyed the seclusion of the carriage house. This is a beautiful place to stay and a great place to get away. We will be back.

Hi, I have stayed at the Lang House three times. The inn is excellent - comfortable, clean rooms, delicious breakfast, very close to downtown and very friendly proprietors. If you are spending some time in the Hurly Burly, this is the place to stay.

My stays at the Lang House have been so enjoyable that I’m always looking for excuses to return. In the center of Burlington, the inn is beautifully maintained and full of thoughtfully chosen period details. The staff is warm and accommodating, and the breakfasts are not to be missed. The menu, which changes each day, features local Vermont produce and muffins and breads fresh from the oven. Bottom line? Kudos for comfort, warmth, food, and décor.

We stayed in the Captain Lyon room (202) during college graduation of our son. The room is superbly accommodating, and the bed is marvelously comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and efficient at a very busy time. Champlain College is across the street and downtown Burlington is five blocks down the hill on Main Street. Don't miss this B & B for a Burlington stay.

We stayed in several B&Bs in Vermont over our trip and this one was absolutely adorable! The room was cute and quaint - exactly what we were looking for - and the B&B was SO close to the main street through town. We walked to everything - no car needed! Room was clean, B&B was easy to find, service was wonderful, the parlor adorable, and the people very friendly.

My husband and I stayed in the Garden room. It was wonderful! Extremely romantic. We loved the jacuzzi tub, and the cheese plate and wine were excellent. Best of all-the blueberry pancakes and coffee in the morning!
