The Safford Mills Inn and Café offers the ambiance of the past with the modern amenities of today. We are not a typical Out in the Country, Peace and Quiet B&B, but an In-Town, Night Life "A&A"...Accommodations and Aperitifs. Make us your evening destination where you can unwind in our cozy common rooms with a martini, wine or dessert before you retire for the evening.

No breakfast here, but evening drinks and snacks were a great substitute. Well priced option for the south Vermont area.

Beautiful, clean room just three blocks from Bennington's business district. My only problem with the room was that it had no reading lamp. The lighting was perfect for a romantic getaway, however. Definitely recommended.

My wife and I stopped here overnight on our way to Stratton Mountain we checked late, the owner was very nice, made us feel very comfortable. Rooms are cozy and very welcoming. He made us drinks to cap off our night, it's not a typical B&B instead it's a place for night people like us who love late check outs and late night drinks. Definitely staying here again!

Great atmosphere. Great martinis. Great desserts. And a great, cute, cozy room. Just a wonderful experience
A cozy first floor room with a dry bar and colonial style mantle with an electric fireplace insert.
A spacious second floor room, with wall to wall carpet, a large flat screen television and an electric fireplace insert.
One of our second floor rooms, also very spacious. A trip back in time, this room boasts wide plank flooring and a claw foot tub and shower.
