I used to walk by the Williamsburg Manor when I was a student at the College and when I went back for a classmate's wedding I finally had a chance to stay there. It exceeed my expectations in every way. It was the cleanest of all the hotels and b&bs I have ever seen and the most welcoming. Each employee introduced herself and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They even mailed us a shirt that we accidentally left behind. There are a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy, tea, coffee, and snacks are available (and an honor bar with beer and wine) around the clock, and there is enough space to sit alone or with some of the other guests. The decor is inspired by the colonial surroundings but not fussy or stuffy. I loved the little touches like the jar of toy soldiers with the invitation to take one home as a reminder to pray for the men and women serving in our armed forces, and the upstairs piggy banks that allow you to donate loose change to local charities. Breakfast was as delicious as previous reviews had promised and the eggs from the chickens in the back garden were a definite highlight, especially the first morning when we got to enjoy them with tomatoes and basil that were also grown there! I loved staying here and can't wait to return.

Stop here if you are exploring Colonial Williamsburg or anywhere around this area. This is the apex of a bed and breakfast experience. From the beauty of the house and rooms, plus the outdoor areas to the amazing delicious breakfast, I don't think you can top this. There are snacks and beverages available 24/7. When we stayed, the house was so quiet (as people were out sightseeing) it felt like it was all our own. You can walk to anything you need.

My husband and I had a wonderful time in your Green Room! The very first night we stayed there, the television was not working. We decided to call the innkeeper even though it was late at night and they were extremely kind and came to check on our television within 10 minutes. We were very impressed by their customer service! Breakfast was delicious and they made our bed and gave us clean towels everyday. We will definitely be going back again!

We stopped for the evening on our way to Florida. The Blue Room was very nice and comfortable. The B&B is a short walk from Colonial Williamsburg, which we visited shortly after arriving. The home was quiet, and the coffee & breakfast in the AM was also very pleasant. We would have spent more time but were on a schedule of sorts and were off to North Carolina mid-morning. Otherwise we would have enjoyed more coffee in the sitting area out front! Will definitely stop again if we're back that way.

Overall the property is cute and quaint. There are some minor cosmetic issues that could easily be resolved. The biggest issue was the bed. I understand that it's probably an antique but it creaks so loud we had the most unrestful night and happy we were only there one night. The woman that prepares breakfast is very kind and breakfast was lovely. We never once saw the innkeepers.

We loved our stay at this B&B. Our room was comfortable but bathroom could use a little updating. Living room furniture could be updated as well. The best part of our stay was the 5 star breakfast each morning prepared by Maggie. She's an amazing chef! All homemade and so much variety. Loved the blueberry lemon pancakes and home fries. They also had a wonderful 24 hour coffee/tea bar with plenty of available snacks. We would definitely come back again!

This is a really great B&B. It is in pristine condition and is decorated perfectly. It is close to Colonial Williamsburg and a short drive to Busch Gardens. The service is beyond outstanding. We once left a jacket in the closet and without us calling they mailed it to us. Highly recommended!

Holiday getaway for college daughter on the train from DC (4 hours one way). Easy walk to Williamsburg Manor from train station. Great location by W&M and shops, restaurants and colonial district. Southall Blue Room was beautiful and cozy with private bath. Coffee, many snacks and baked goods were delicious and appreciated. House is lovely. Check in went smoothly with envelope taped to front door (alerted to this prior to arrival) as there is no staff onsite after 5pm.. Breakfasts were delicious! One wish---It was so cold during this week that a fire burning in a working fireplace would have been enjoyable. Overall a wonderful experience. Will recommend to friends and family.

What a beautiful home in a beautiful town. This is the perfect place to stay for a cozy, colonial getaway. The rooms were well kept and comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Williamsburg.
