Tree Streets Inn

421 Walnut Avenue , Waynesboro, VA 22980 USA (Show map)

We welcome you to the Tree Streets Inn, a 1914 colonial-revival B&B, presented with "PROPERTY BEAUTIFICATION AWARD" by the City of Waynesboro, VA. We are situated at the “Crossroads of the historic central Shenandoah Valley” and are located just 3 miles from the junction of the famous Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway (Mile Post 0). Make us "your home away from home". Our B&B is ideally situated for “day-tripping” and is just minutes from all the natural outdoor wonders of the Blue Ridge Mountains of western Virginia. Only 25 miles to the east is Charlottesville with it’s historic homes of 3 of America’s first 5 presidents and Thomas Jefferson‘s pride and joy, the University of Virginia. A short distance to the west brings you to Staunton, home of the Woodrow Wilson Birthplace and Presidential Library, the renowned Blackfriars Shakespearean Playhouse and American Frontier Culture Museum. And 45 minutes to the south you can be in historical Lexington and the Natural Bridge. You will also be just minutes from many of western Virginia’s finest award-winning wineries and microbreweries, and in the midst of ‘antiquer’s heaven” for which the Valley is renowned. Tree Streets Inn offers you a soothing getaway in this most beautiful part of Virginia and welcomes you with an abundance of warmth and hospitality.

Wonderful Visit

I spent two nights in the Birds Nest room which is a great perch in Waynesboro. Neat and clean, great breakfast, great location.

Get away

One of our reasons to stay was we wanted something close by and all the rooms looked very attractive online. We did have an opportunity to see all the rooms and our Innkeepers did a vey nice job of decorating and providing a place of comfort and solitude. We had a great conversation during breakfast and they provided some guidance on places to eat and see. We had a delightful time.

Beautiful B&B, owners weree gracious and welcoming.

Great value! Bill and Nickie were outstanding and gave us great recommendations on activities, wineries, and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and had more food than we could eat. We look forward to returning!

Quaint, charming, comfy & cozy

We stayed here for just one night in mid-December. Hubby and I just taking a pre-Christmas break to explore this area of VA. The regular inn-keepers were away for the weekend but the subs were awesome! Really enjoyed chatting with them. The room was clean and beautifully decorated (as was the house). Breakfast was when WE wanted it - and it was tasty (including some home-made granola). One cool thing (in our opinion) was that the owners have photos from the original construction of the home - I love those types of touches. Within walking distance to the cute downtown of Waynesboro with several great dining places and pubs to just hang out in. Met friendly locals while out and about too.

Sweet, Hidden Spot

Great place to stay. Innkeepers are informative and friendly. We stayed in the Chestnut Room and it was adorable.

Beautifully maintained in true keeping to it's historical importance in Waynesboro VA

Wonderful authentic couple as gracious hosts made our own needed getaway intimate and enchanting. Truly an iconic emblem of Waynesboro history sitting a top the highest point in town providing scenic view of Afton Mountain and lower Shenandoah National Park. So many choices being at the cross roads of Virginia's beauty in nature and compelling history. We enjoyed our choice of meeting and speaking with P Buckley Moss at her home and barn opened for an exhibit viewing and signing of her work.

Great place to stay in Waynesboro

We stayed at the Bird's Nest Room this fall. It was lovely and private. The house is beautiful, and breakfast was delightful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Tree Streets Inn again.

Nice stay

We had a very nice one night stay recently and the hosts were very pleasant. The house is charming and had a cozy feel. Parking in the back made it convenient to get around and the breakfast in the morning hit the spot. It was walking distance to a local restaurant which we visited for supper, The Green Leaf, and that just made the overall experience a really relaxing and enjoyable weekend away.

One of the best

Wonderful place to stay. Hosts friendly and makes you feel like a family. Recommendations of things in the area were great. One of the best B&B we have stayed.
