A Great Escape

4.6 on July 01, 2018

Off of the beaten path, The Inn at Riverbend was a great place for us to get away from the fast pace of our every day life for a few days. The place was wonderful, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the view was spectacular. We can't wait to go back again.

A Place to Return

5 on May 07, 2018

April 19, 2018 Inn at Riverbend is a memory-maker with its beautiful views, lovely bedrooms and baths, and its inviting public rooms. It was the first time we had ever stayed in a bed & breakfast that had been specifically designed as a B & B. The hospitality and breakfast were wonderful, and well worth altering our travel route a bit to stay there. We look forward to doing that again.

Amazing Stay

5 on January 23, 2018

We were amazed on all levels during our stay from check-in to farewell. John and Jeanne were so knowledgeable of the area, breakfast was healthy, tasty and plentiful. Our room was comfortable with a large bathroom and closet. Loved the three days we spent and will return in another season.

Cozy little heaven in the New River Valley

4.6 on January 03, 2017

I don't usually write reviews, but this place deserves a review. We stayed here for 3 nights at this B&B during Christmas 2016. The owners as well as their staff are very warm & affectionate people. They even went out of their way to take care of our dietary restrictions. And of course, the view from the balcony is unbeatable. John, Jeannie and Donny: We thank you for making our stay extremely comfortable and memorable. We will definitely visit you again! Thanks.

Beautiful and very homey

My husband and I spent the Christmas holidays at the Inn and it was wonderful. My family is from Pearisburg so being by the New River brought back so many memories. The breakfast were wonderful and I enjoyed drinking my coffee by the roaring fire. Rooms were very nice and the perfect size. I loved the big bathrooms.

Get Away Weekend Inn at Riverbend

Many thanks to Janet and Jim for ensuring that a much needed get away in the midst of a challenging time was fun, beautiful, and relaxing. We will most definitely return to this lovely location.

Fell In Love...

5 on September 26, 2013

With the Inn at Riverbend! A two night stay in mid September was not enough, so we booked another night for our way back through the area after conducting business in a neighboring state! The views from every angle are spectacular, and the inn itself is comfortable and has a relaxed, peaceful air. Truly a refreshing and lovely experience!

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much. We loved having the two of you here (twice in a week!). We enjoyed meeting you and look forward to a future visit. PS - The leaves are starting to change....

What more could you want??

5 on September 12, 2013

I stayed here with my family for 3 nights in August. The Inn and the scenery were just like the website photos! Views were amazing and we had fun on the New River kayaking. Janet and Jimm are fabulous hosts and Janet's breakfasts are out of this world. Their attention to detail in everything just made our stay so memorable. It was our wedding anniversary while we were there and we were very touched by the card, chocolates and sparkling wine that we found in our room to celebrate. If we are ever in the area we will be booking at the Inn on Riverbend.

Relaxing and beautiful stay

We loved our time at the Inn at Riverbend. It was our first time, but we'll be back. The views are spectacular and the rooms are very comfortable. Hospitality and breakfast are just right (food is great, hosts are really friendly, but respectful of your privacy). Can't wait to go back.

Best B & B Ever!

4.4 on August 23, 2013

This is a newly built B & B with a fantastic view. It is high on a bluff overlooking the New River. You can see fore miles. A very relaxing and most enjoyable place.
