Great cabin. Nice. Clean. Everything provided. Extremely roomy and comfortable bed & bedding. Awesome location and beautiful too. The water smelled bad, like sulfur, but tolerable. Stink bugs were horrible but owners had treated. Seemed to be an area wide problem. We did not have a good experience dining out at all (Salernos, do not recommend. Nice staff. Nasty food.) good access to Kroger. We cooked at cabin the next night, had everything we needed. Would for sure stay here again. Recommend!!!

We tried other places but none have been better. Autumn Ridge is the best. Always neat, clean and just perfect. We highly recommend staying here

These cottages are very nice and quite secluded, yet only a few minutes from restaurants and shops in Lexington or the Blur Ridge Parkway in the other direction. We particularly liked the new bench swing a short walk from our cabin where we enjoyed the view of the mountains each night as the sun went down. Our cabin had everything we needed to enjoy quiet week alone. No daily maid service as at a hotel, but that wasn't a problem. It was actually nice to not have to worry about anyone coming around every day.

My husband and I loved our stay at Autumn Ridge. We stayed in the Bayberry Cottage, which is a great place for a couple wanting to get away from it all, yet have it all. Loved the whirlpool tub, so relaxing. We didn't cook, but the kitchen had everything you would need to prepare a meal, except food. Close enough to town, yet feels so secluded.

This property was exceedingly well thought out and immaculate. One of the best self-catering places we have ever stayed at in the US. Lexington offers great restaurants and museums. The cottage was well equipped and roomy, yet still maintained a homey feel. The bed was VERY comfortable. We stayed in the Twinleaf cottage which did not have wifi.

We came here to get away for our 10 year wedding anniversary and to visit the local winery/brewery and we also caught a movie. We enjoyed the peaceful serenity of the area as well as the beautiful view! The cottage was clean and cozy! We enjoyed a nice long relaxing bath in the jacuzzi tub in our cottage and enjoyed the downtime we took! Will certainly consider coming back in the future!:)
Thanks so much! We're glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to hearing from you again in the future!

This is a great couples getaway, not for kids. Wonderful on ALL points! Received info from Norm concerning everything we would need to know. The cabins amenities were above par. We have stayed in several cabins in the past, this one was superb! They forgot nothing of the creature comforts, just like home. Everything has its place and it is there to be enjoyed.

We stayed in the Bayberry cottage for a weekend in August, and we were not disappointed! Well-maintained, clean, and private. We were celebrating an anniversary, and they helped make it special with chocolates, balloons and flowers! We hope to stay again.

A fantastic place to relax and refresh yourself. Cottage keepers were excellent. We'll be returning in the fall.

A peaceful, serene retreat that is close to the lovely town of Lexington, Va. My husband and I visited in the fall which was a perfect time to see the glorious color Virginia has to offer. The cottage was lovely, and very well equiped and oh so comfortable. We were able to eat in, which we enjoyed. One of the highlights was the deer that visited at dawn and dusk! Will definitely visit again!
