My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Stonewall Jackson Inn! Our room was spacious and very welcoming. Very Relaxing. The breakfasts were top notch-very much deserving of the phrase "A breakfast to remember". We would definitely stay again. Thank you Terri and Roger!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Stonewall Jackson Inn. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and the entire house was comfortable and quaint. We were greeted right away and they offered to accommodate for any special needs and dietary requests. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. We used the living room to hang out and play cards and they offered us drinks and chocolate cake (homemade). It was like a home, we were given everything we needed to be comfortable and happy.

This Inn is a terrific place to stay and tour the Harrisonburg/Shenandoah Valley area. The delicious breakfasts are sustaining and a wonderfully comfortable parlor area for easing into your daily activities or relaxing after your excursions. The first class linens and comfortable beds provide a restful night away from home experience and the innkeepers Terri and Roger graciously and efficiently attend to every guest's needs.

I've passed this place before when I've visited Harrisonburg in the past. My usual B&B was booked, so I thought this would be a nice place to stay. This has become my first choice for a B&B in the area. I'm definitely coming back. Breakfast was outstanding. The croissant French toast is delightful. Next time, I'm going to ask for half the portion. It was too much for me. I don't eat so heartily and I heard some others dining that they don't eat as much either and Terri accommodated them. I'll do the same next time. The first day was a busy day I personally don't eat eggs on their own. It was a full house and eggs benedict was on the menu. I told Terri that I didn't mind if I just had everything but the egg. She surprised me with pancakes. It was accompanied by the best sausages and potatoes I've ever had. Those sausages were spicy and sweet and nothing like I've ever had. We stayed in the Belle Boyd suite, which is by the kitchen. You can hear the other guests when they come through, but I was an early riser and it didn't bother me. I'd love to stay in a different room next time. I didn't really hear anyone upstairs, even though it was a full house. So, that tells you something. It was a pleasant stay and I'm certainly returning.

My husband and I came to Harrisonburg and stayed 6 nights at The Stonewall Jackson Inn. We are relocating to Harrisonburg and loved the central location of the property. Terri and Roger were AMAZING!!!! From the moment we set foot through the front door we felt like Family!!! There was not anything they wouldn't do for us during our stay!!! Our room was super quaint and pretty, the property is so quiet and charming. Every detail was thought through and if there was anything we needed we got it!! I liked to sneak out into the living area and read a book with a glass of wine in the evening! (they have an extensive wine list...don't skip ordering a bottle..or two!) Breakfast was delicious EVERY SINGLE MORNING and certainly a Breakfast to remember. Dr. Wayne, the owner is an encyclopedia of all things Harrisonburg and such a sweet and charming man. We enjoyed talking with Christina as well and she was equally welcoming and warm. During breakfast we met so many nice people including a lot of return customers. The local chef of one of the Valley's (and Harrisonburg's) fine restaurants stays there when he is in town, along with couples, business men and women! We both highly recommend this property, you won't be disappointed! Love, Brandi and Ron Stayed March 2017

I love this Inn. I stayed here last year with a group of friends and was excited to return for two nights in October 2016. All the rooms are beautiful, the staff is wonderful and the breakfast is the best I've ever had. It's a lovely place to stay.

We stayed at the Stonewall Jackson Inn - Philip Sheridan Room. We were impressed with the quality of service and the cleanliness and charm of the property. We very much enjoyed the hospitality and everything was very easy and strait forward during the brief and informative check-in with the (live-in) keeper. Our breakfast was awesome and a great service was given to us during the morning with multiple people in the kitchen providing for our every need while dining, The food was top notch and a must do, do not skip breakfast. The room it-self was very large and a great space, clean, tidy, and enjoyable. Private bathroom with ample towels, soaps, etc. The bed was very comfortable and we truely enjoyed the property, staff, breakfast, etc. I would recommend this properly as a good value.

When I and my husband pulled into the drive, we noticed a manicured lawn and well kept Inn. Upon entering the Stonewall Jackson Inn, Wayne, the owner, greeted us with genuine enthusiasm. He was sincerely interested in our comfort. He gave us a tour of the Inn and informed us to alert him if we needed anything at all. We had booked the Sherman Room, and it was absolutely beautiful. Wayne made us aware of the locality of the Inn and nearby restaurants and other attractions. The next morning was indeed a "breakfast to remember". Aurilla and Alex are astonishing chefs! This will indeed be a place that we will visit again!

We went there for our anniversary weekend and we had a great time. The innkeepers were very friendly and accommodating and the room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was simply amazing! Beautiful presentation, tasty and filling. There are wineries nearby and activities such as canoeing and kayaking if you're into that. Overall, I would highly recommend the inn to anyone who wants to escape from the city for a weekend and have a relaxing time.
"Antique extraordinaire with a big bay window and wet bar" This is our premier suite, and the perfect choice for a romantic occasion or extended stay. It is located on the second floor, in the middle of our bed and breakfast, and features a king bed and sitting area.
"Sweet Magnolia Room" Located on the second floor and on the north, or front, side of the Inn, this room features a beautiful view of our magnolia tree. The side windows look out over the downtown Harrisonburg area, and on clear evenings you'll have a glorious view of mountains in the distance beneath our famously brilliant sunsets.
"In the treetops" In the middle of our second floor, this room is the perfect choice for kicking back with a loved one. Decorated to have a just-like-home feel, this room looks out towards downtown and offers a glimpse of mountains and saturated sunsets in the distance.
"Cozy, with a fireplace" This first-floor room is accessible from the entryway, making this perfect for those with limited mobility. With a full house of guests, this location makes it vulnerable to guest traffic noise. As such, it is our most cost-effective room choice, and we also offer a business/corporate special rate.
"Autumn delight" This second-floor room is located at the end of the hallway on the north (front) side of the Inn facing out towards our beautiful magnolia tree. Perfect for friends traveling together, visits with a college student, or adventuring with a hiking buddy.
