The Virginia Cliffe Inn is a Bed & Breakfast as well as event venue located approximately 15 minutes north of Richmond, VA. The Inn is nestled among the trees in the settlement of Glen Allen on six acre grounds which front historic Mountain Road; the path Thomas Jefferson traveled on trips from Charlottesville, to Richmond, and Williamsburg. All of our guest rooms include a private bath, flat screen televisions with cable, individual temperature control, and wifi. Each room is individually decorated with Georgian style furnishings and decor which will remind you of times gone by. In the winter you can sip spiced tea in front of the fireplace in the wood-paneled den. In the summer you can sit in the back yard overlooking the flower gardens with a fountain, a waterfall, and a pond.

Janice is a wonderful host. She takes great pride in providing wonderful hospitality. The property is amazing. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The rooms are spacious and clean. All the equipment and electronics throughout the property worked. The breakfast was authentic and tasted great. This BnB looks like something out of a postcard and most certainly exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a really fantastic BnB to stay at while in the Glenn Allen area.

I traveled through Richmond on my way from Philadelphia, PA to Atlanta, GA. I can't say enough about the Virginia Cliffe Inn. Margaret and Janice were fantastic hostesses - responsive (during the booking phase), friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The room was clean and beautiful - as advertised. Breakfast was an absolute delight. I would definitely stay at the Virginia Cliffe Inn again! Highly recommended.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast on every account. Great hospitality and conversation by Mrs.Clifton and she also serves a fantastic breakfast. It was satisfying and enjoyable and similar to staying in a southern plantation....
