Come and experience the tranquility of our 18th Vermont century home. This historic inn has spectacular views and is located on over 3 quiet, off-highway acres 12 miles north of Stowe. Our location is ideal for exploring. We are at the intersection of VT Rte15 & VT Rte 100, providing easy access to the Champlain Islands, Burlington, the Northeast Kingdom, Montpelier, Stowe, & Waterbury (home of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream). The inn is surrounded by gardens in the summer, and you may enjoy strolling through the woods behind the inn. There are two covered porches and a three-level deck on which to relax. All of the rooms have private baths and views of the Green Mountains, the forest and gardens, or both. The suites have fireplaces, two-person whirlpool tubs, and butlers kitchens. Come and relax away from the hubbub of everyday life, or just rest up after a busy day enjoying Vermont’s wonderful outdoor activities and shopping. We want you to make yourselves at home. Questions? Give us a call or drop us an e-mail. We would love to hear from you!

My daughter and I have stayed at Fitch Hill twice now while visiting at Johnson State College. The Inn is classic New England and to say it is simply clean is certainly an understatement! The entire Inn is nicely appointed. The canopy bed is so comfortable I found myself lifting the sheet to peek at the brand. Julie and John are the perfect hosts and if you are looking to experience the breakfast of a lifetime you will be very happy for choosing this Inn. Always relaxing and restorative. I highly recommend Fitch Hill!

This was our first experience at a Bed & Breakfast. The room was great, excellent décor. The service from the Innkeepers was excellent. The food was great, and they accommodated me regarding some of my diet preferences. I would recommend a stay here to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Fitch Inn. Julie and John were the perfect hosts. Breakfast was filling and delightful each day. The room we stayed in was the New Hampshire Suite and it was perfect. The whirlpool tub was excellent and I cannot say enough about how comfortable the room was. Both Julie and John made conversation with us in the morning during breakfast and it made us both feel welcomed and started our day off perfectly. The inn is very peaceful and it was very easy to sleep there. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay.

Julie and John were the perfect hosts. The Inn is tastefully decorated in Vermont country style. That was the reason I selected it from the website. I saw photos of quilts, original needlework, hardwood floors, 4 poster beds, etc. We highly recommend a stay at Fitch Hill Inn for its ambiance and quiet location near lots of places to go and see.

The innkeepers, Julie & John, are a couple of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Caring and gracious, it was their friendliness that made an excellent experience simply exceptional. As an ex-engineer, Julie keeps the facility in top shape, and John makes the best breakfast ever. Our stay at Fitch Hill Inn was easily the highlight of our visit to the Northeast.

The Fitch Hill Inn is 5 star in every aspect of what one would want in a bed and breakfast! Their is not one detail overlooked in making sure the guest has a delightful experience. Stayed there for 2 nights in mid May of 2016 and would not even consider staying anywhere else if in that area in the future! Kudos to John and Julie¿¿¿¿
