Great two night stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Willard Street Inn. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. Our room was lovely. Very clean and provided so many amenities. Breakfasts were delicious! If we ever get back to Burlington, we would definitely stay there again.

Thoroughly Pampered at a Marvelous Inn.

The accommodations were perfect. The Conservatory on the first floor was comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The bed and bedding were excellent, the cleanliness of a high standard. The breakfasts were imaginative , food was well prepared some of it grown in the garden. The kitchen , responsive to allergies and food preferences. The wait staff were extremely pleasant and efficient. The vegetables are grown in the gardens so were really fresh. There is a set up for coffee, tea and water all day. Fresh baked cookies are available in the late afternoon along with the addition of fresh lemonade. Given some food allergies, I was delighted to receive cookies that were set out by my room that were always safe to eat. As highly as I rated everything I think that the service was more than outstanding. The example I would provide involved mobility challenges. An easy fix was stool for the shower. But the toilet was very low and extremely challenging for an older person.. On arrival once I realized that I asked if there was someplace that on Monday I could go to and purchase a seat that would raise the toilet height possibly with side bars. Larry, one of the owners, said he would get me the address of a place for the seat. A short time later, he knocked and had personally gone to a store that was open and found the perfect "fix." I have stayed at four and five star hotels around the world and at many wonderful Inns and Bed and Breakfasts but this level of genuine concern and the extra effort involved on a Sunday is extremely rare and and lifts the Willard from Outstanding to Extraordinarily Outstanding. I have already recommended The Willard Inn to friends should they go to or through Burlington. The ambience and the genuine warmth permeated all the interactions and makes the Willard a haven.

Impeccable

The lovely architecture and cozy interior truly triggers the imagination as to what it must have been like to live in a mansion such as this! The attention to detail was impeccable so too the lovely gardens and sun room. Would definitely return should the chance present itself!

Exceeded our expectations

Willard Street Inn is without a doubt one of the most beautiful inns I have stayed at. Such a spectacular environment, friendly staff, and fantastic location. I hope to go again sometime soon.

I was visiting friends in Burlington for a few days and decided to stay at the Willard St Inn, and I am so pleased that I did. The inn had such charm, and it is in a wonderful location. I appreciated that I could park in their off-street parking and walk to the downtown Church St area. The gardens are absolutely stunning and the views of the lake and mountains were wonderful. I will certainly return at some point!

Pleasantly Surprised

It was very cozy and the staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was good the one day we did have it but for a millennial it was inconvenient that the latest slot was 9:30. Its really close to town so everything is within reach. If you love a quiet time this would be great.

WILLARD STREET INN

Our kids gave us a gift to come to the Willard Street Inn. The Inn is fabulous. The staff is more than friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was Martha's Memoir's, and thank goodness the Inn was as lovely as it was, so we didn't mind being stuck inside for most of the weekend. It was New Years Eve, and it was bitterly cold outside, so we chose to hunker inside for most of the weekend. The breakfast was fantastic. The location is great too very close to everything in Burlington. If it wasn't so cold, we would have loved to be able to walk just about anywhere. We had a great relaxing weekend and would definitely visit Willard Street again in the future.
