Inn Keepers Nancy and Mike are terrific (Becket the dog, too). Up a short, windy driveway off of Rt. 12 in Barnard, the Inn is perfectly situated for a quiet Vermont weekend away from resort life. Hike and snow shoe straight out the door, or find your way to VT trails. Ski Pico, visit Silver Lake, dine in Woodstock or down the road a pitch from the Inn...the attractions go on and on. I've visited the Maple Leaf on and off over the years, and am glad to know it. Comfortable bed, radiant floor heating in the bath, fireplace, cozy and perfect. Of course, breakfast is DELICIOUS.

We enjoyed our stay with our gracious hosts and can't wait to get back - from gourmet breakfasts to local tips, our inkeepers were on top of everything and every little detail was perfect. A great place for a cozy winter escape or a summer holiday!

The Inn is very cozy, rooms are clean and well-appointed. Fireplaces were lovely on cold Vermont nights. Definitely off the beaten path, so no restaurants really in walking distance, and pretty much everything is a 10-20 minute drive away. Breakfast is only served between 8:30 and 9:30, even on weekends.

Once again the folks at the Maple leaf made our vacation the most enjoyable it could ever be. The pristine rooms, the food, the hospitality, and all the amenities are phenomenal. In addition the VAST trails are right out their back door! This was our 6th year with the Maple Leaf and are looking forward to our 7th next January! Laurie and Mike

Stumbled upon this Bed and Breakfast online while looking for a location to spend Christmas Eve at. I had wanted a " traditional New England Christmas" complete with snow and clearly this location and Bed and Breakfast did not disappoint. Our hosts were welcoming, accommodating, and incredibly knowledgeable about the surrounding area and other towns nearby. A wonderful Christmas breakfast and hospitality on Christmas Day. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking to travel to Vermont!!

The Maple Leaf Inn was the perfect place for a nice relaxing winter get away. Nancy and Mike were great hosts and did an amazing job at being available but never invasive. The breakfasts there were delicious, I loved everything we ate! Overall it was a great experience and I will be referring people to the Maple Lesd Inn.

The Maple Leaf Inn is absolutely adorable from the outside and just gets better as you go in. Every room is amazingly clean. The first place, jacuzzi tub, and delicious food made our weekend trip absolutely perfect. Mike and Nancy (and Beckett) were so polite and friendly and made it seem just like Home I highly recommend this location to everyone!

When we arrived, Mike graciously showed us around the beautiful house, and then showed us to our room. Mike and Nancy provided a delicious breakfast each morning, where my girlfriend and myself were amazed each time with what was brought out of the kitchen next. The room was just perfect with the fireplace and massive jacuzzi bathtub. The ground, the house and Mike and Nancy were great, but the star of the B&B was hands down Becket (the dog), just so loving and protective at the same time. If you're looking to go away for a few days with a spouse, I would highly recommend this place because, it's the perfect combination of being in the woods, with a quick drive to Woodstock, VT and other adorable VT towns and shops to explore. Recommend the General Store in Barnard down the street and Simon Pearce restaurant.
