Nestled in the Shenandoah Valley the Inn at Old Virginia represents the perfect balance of historic grace and modern day amenities. The peacefulness and charm of our 10 rooms and suites are surrounded by picturesque rolling hillsides. Each morning the complimentary gourmet breakfast is served in our English style glass conservatory. This Civil War era property offers a peaceful getaway located just minutes from Staunton & Harrisonburg Virginia and interstate 81. The two buildings comprising the Inn are both luxuriously appointed with imported antique furniture, oriental rugs, area and period inspired artwork, soothing color palettes and modern accessories. In the Main House, you will find the Conservatory, a cozy living room showcasing a small library of books and movies, as well as a brick fireplace. Guests can enjoy the skyline of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the Inn’s landscaped outdoor patios. Architecturally designed to preserve the original structural integrity, the newly renovated Barn, contains eight of the Inn’s rooms as well as a beautiful common area with vaulted ceiling, stone fireplace and outdoor decks, where guests can enjoy views of the Valley.

Gorgeous Property!

Beautiful property not far from the south entrance to Skyline drive and some great dining in Staunton. The fully refurbished "barn" is absolutely stunning, actually nicer in person than the pictures. We will be back :)

Classic B&B Personal Touch at Inn at Old Virginia

5 on November 11, 2017

Our second stay here in a month. Love everything about the Inn at Old Virginia, Beautiful grounds and setting; exceptional rooms, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast is what you hope for in a first class B&B--and it won't be disappointed! Served in bright, airy sunroom overlooking grounds. And the owner Eve and her staff? Simply the best you'll find anywhere. Gracious, friendly and eager to please. Highly recommend.

Innkeeper Response
I used to try to figure out who posted a review. I don't any more. We are just extremely grateful for your visit with us. We so enjoy serving our guests and simply enjoying who they are. And sharing who we are too. :) Thanks for your kind words. So appreciated.

Beautiful Historic Place

We recently stayed at this lovely B&B. The woman who greeted us was warm and inviting and gave us a brief history of the house and "barn". The setting, rooms, amenities were very good. We stayed in the barn - it was beautifully done and the beds were fabulous! You can buy the linens they use from their small gift shop. During our check in, she asked if we had made plans for dinner and quickly made a few suggestions. Breakfast was delicious and the setting in the conservatory was wonderful as well.....We will stay here again.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for your kind words. And I apologize that I have not responded sooner. The leaves have finally changed and our guests are very ready for the colors. We are very grateful to you and for all of your input and sharing of your lives with us. And as well, we are the ones who benefit the most. Thanks you so much - again.

Just what my wife and I needed to end a very trying summer. My only regret is that we had to leave! Will definitely consider going back. Tim and Amanda O'Quinn

Perfect Weekend!

5 on September 14, 2017

Our stay at the Inn was perfect! We stayed in the Jed Hotchkiss room on the main floor in the renovated Barn and we were very comfortable. The views from the deck were beautiful. Kathryn, Laina, Garrett and the staff made us feel welcome and were really helpful. The breakfast and cookies were delicious too. We enjoyed sipping wine while watching the cows graze. Only suggestion would be to place more Adirondack chairs throughout the property to take advantage of the gorgeous grounds and the views! Everything was wonderful. We're already planning our next visit. Thank you again!

We had a very pleasant stay at your Inn.

A Mountain View

5 on August 22, 2017

We arrived Thursday late afternoon. We bought a bottle of wine from the little gift shop. Inn provided glasses & opener. We had a glass of wine on the deck and watched the sunset. What a lovely setting-peaceful and scenic. Our room had a sleep number bed. After a long trip, we appreciated a great night's sleep. The breakfast was wonderful. It's served in the conservatory which has a view of the grounds. We will be back!

Innkeeper Response
When considering opening a Bed & Breakfast, one of our ultimate goals was to provide a quiet and relaxing environment. I'm glad to hear that you were able to enjoy it. Please do come again. We would truly love to see you. It's a delight to have our "repeat" guests who often become "family." Thanks again..
