My stay at the Lavender Heights started out wonderful. Of course the first thing was the House itself but Jenny made it all worth while. She was such a pleasure and made the stay absolutely enjoyable from her delicious breakfast (pancakes & scones) to the extra touch she put on my Surprise Engagement. Yes, my now finance proposed to me at Lavender Heights and I could not have asked for a better stay or way to spend my 2016 Valentines!!!! Thank you Jenny for making such a memorable moment, extra special. Sincerely, Jamie ¿

Lavendar Heights was a great getaway with southern charm. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful with benches, water fountains, and flowers. I only wish I had had more time to spend relaxing in them. The rooms were incredibly clean and breakfast was filling and tasty. Jenny took great care of us!

This is how the B&B experience should be throughout the enterprise. Innkeeper is warm, helpful and friendly; rooms are immaculate and well appointed; and there are lots of reminders of local and personal history to really make it feel like home. I recommend it highly and without reservation (pardon the expression).

We celebrated our 25th anniversary with a two-night, three-day getaway in Fredericksburg (VA) and at Lavender Heights - kayaking, hiking, wine tasting, dining, and relaxing. Location, site / house, rooms, ambiance, hospitality, and food were simply superb. We couldn't have enjoyed our getaway more. A true "keeper."

Owner Jenny could not have been more gracious from reservation to goodbye. Great location a little way from downtown. Lovely room. Great breakfast. Easy parking. Easy access for this limited guest.

My husband and I booked the last available room for a family wedding that was held on site at the B & B. The accommodations, food, graciousness of the host Jenny and her staff, and the overall ambiance could not have been better. What a relaxing stay in a perfectly desirable location - close to downtown Fredericksburg and just around the block from my sister's. We will definitely recommend this spot to others and plan to book again, hopefully in the not too distant future. Ann & Mike

My fiance and I got married at Lavender Heights B&B in July 2013, to include both of us and our wedding party staying for two nights before the event. All of us have been talking about the experience ever since and will be going back in the very near future! The owner provided wonderful service to us and our guests and her hospitality exceeded all of our expectations. She went above and beyond during our stay and we all felt like we were amongst family our entire stay. Would HIGHLY recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a get-away.

My daughter and I stayed at Lavender Heights for a quick getaway, after experiencing a significant loss in our lives. We were welcomed so warmly, and felt so comfortable immediately. The inn is lovely, with such attention to detail. The rooms are so cozy and comfy, and the entire house is just beautiful. Everything is designed with rest and relaxation in mind. Though there were other guests staying in the room next door, we never even heard them. Historic Fredericksburg is literally minutes away, and we had a delicious meal at one of the many fab restaurants. Then the next morning, we were treated to an absolutely delicious breakfast before returning home. We will definitely visit again, bringing the rest of our family with us!

Lavender Heights Bed and Breakfast is in a beautiful area with lots of history. The gardens are beautiful and plentiful with seating that allows a breathtaking view over the historic city of Fredericksburg. The rooms are spacious and decorated with comfort and charm in mind. I was greeted with such hospitality and a lovely tour. After a comfortable night's sleep, I was offered an exquisite breakfast. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.
