Our experience in this B&B was terrific! A lot of attention was placed on the amenities- from the large and plush Turkish towels, extra thread count sheets and little extras in the bathroom - to the wonderful breakfast and warm welcoming atmosphere. The owners could not do enough to make you feel welcome: let us check in early, and when we were ready to go to the beach had towels, umbrellas, chairs and even a cooler with water and sodas to take with us! Highly recommend it if you are staying in Cape Charles!

My wife and I were looking for a stop-off point travelling to the Outer Banks over the 4th of July. We decided to give "The Fig Street Inn" a try. We were not disappointed. We arrived late due to a heavy downpour that created flooding conditions. No problem. Greg was there and greeted us upon our arrival. He could not have been more accommodating and friendly. He showed us our room and chatted for a while about his and wife Donna's B & B. The room was excellent. Clean and comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Greg recommended several place close by to dine. We had a tasty dinner, good night sleep, and a great breakfast in the morning. We will absolutely visit again but stay longer to enjoy this interesting little town and this great bed & breakfast.

The Fig Street in provides a peaceful get away surrounded by easy elegance. The charming front porch is welcoming and inviting. After a day enjoying charming Cape Charles, the high-end sheets will provide what dreams are made of. Breakfast is the perfect start to the day with fresh from the oven delights, as well as egg dishes and crepes which were served with fresh strawberries. The inn offers wonderfully updated bathrooms in generous bedroom suites.

Old home beautifully restored and converted to a B&B. Breakfasts were delicious, especially Gregg's homemade muffins. We were made to feel like part of the family. Looking forward to our next visit.

We spent a fantastic night at the Fig Street Inn. The whole home is gorgeous, and the room we were in was fantastic as well. Such a comfortable bed, a great bathroom with tub with jets. Greg & Donna were excellent hosts!

The Fig Street Inn was great! Greg was an awesome host and was there to help with any questions we had. It was great to talk with him and find out about all the different antique shops on the shore. The house was beautiful and immaculate. We stayed in the Chesapeak room which includes a VERY nice king bed, fireplace and private bathroom with shower. Even though we visited during the winter, there were still some nice shops to visit in town and of course there was the whole rest of the shore that we were able to explore. Cape Charles is a wonderful place to visit at anytime during the year and we will definitely be back time and time again. Looking forward to staying at the Fig Street Inn when we do!

Fig Street Inn was a lovely little b&b. I don't have much to compare it to because it is the first b&b we have stayed in. We weren't there but to sleep and eat breakfast- but i can say the owners couldn't be any nicer and welcoming! The breakfast was amazing and the room we stayed in was comfortable.

This place was awesome! My wife and I stayed here recently and had a wonderful stay. The innkeepers were very accommodating...especially with our very late check-in which is rare with a B&B.

It was a clean, lovely, serene and quiet place to stay with all the amenities of a major hotel....wifi, cable, movies, it was updated but still extremely cozy. It has my highest accolades!
