The west side of a beautiful antiquely decorated Duplex built in 2010 and located in the North side of Historic Old Town, Alexandria, VA, USA, near Mount Vernon, the historic home of the first president of the United States, George Washington; a perfect, ideal and prime location for national and international travelers on business trips and/or vacationing. The house features a green rooftop with a distant view of the Washington DC monument, a spectacular view of the George Washington Masonic Temple, and part of the Potomac River, etc. The roof top, located just on top of the available guest rooms, is easily accessible from the guest areas and available to guests for their relaxation and scenic view.

We had a wonderful stay for a anniversary weekend celebration. We had beautiful accommodations, it was quiet both inside and outside, and centrally located about 6 blocks from the Metro, and the historic shopping district of Alexandria VA. I would definitely recommend this for a traditional B&B experience - you will love the beautiful decor inside, friendly host and hostess, spacious room, and location.

Had a wonderful time, loved the location at the north end of Old Town Alexandria - just across the street from Starbucks, Trader Joes, FedEx Office - and a Bloch or two from Blue & White ;) Hosts were great, had a glass of wine, chips/salsa at end of day, watching Shark Tank, America's Got Talent... Fun time!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying with Franz and Kellie for two nights recently. It was my first experience at a B&B so I did not know what to expect. When we arrived, we were graciously greeted by Franz who welcomed us into his home with with excitement. As we were shown to our room, we could not believe how beautiful and neat the house was and immediately all reservations I had were alleviated. The room itself was wonderful. It was spacious and had a colonial charm that was warm and welcoming. Our hosts made it very clear that if there was ANYTHING they could do to enhance our stay to let them know immediately so they could accommodate, and they did! Breakfasts were great. We were greeted each morning with a generous spread of items from fresh fruit to hard boiled eggs, and if there was anything we wanted that was not on the table, they offered to prepare it for us. Simple but delicious. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the D.C. area, the location of the house is such that you have access to many different sights.

I recently stayed for 3 nights, attending a nearby conference. Frantz and Kelly are just the kind of hosts I like. Friendly, helpful, attentive without any intrusiveness. They graciously accommodated my breakfast schedule and preferences, and offered great local dining suggestions. The room was very clean and very comfortable.

Bon Sejour is a beautiful small inn with extraordinarily gracious hosts. Such a convenient location and comfort will surely bring me back.

I recently had the opportunity to stay with Frantz and Kelli at their lovely B & B, Le Bon Sejour in Alexandria Virginia's Old Town. The Inn is wonderfully situated, well within walking distance of Old Town restaurants, shops, and attractions. It is elegant, quiet, beautifully appointed, and most comfortable. Frantz and Kelli were the most gracious of hosts, welcoming me into their home, and overseeing every possible comfort I could imagine. I will most certainly look forward to returning to Le Bon Sejour, and can highly recommend it to travelers to Alexandria!!

We stayed at Bon Sejour in early December. An established BnB but new to BnB.com, there were no reviews. We decided to take a chance So happy we did. The home is immaculate new construction in a great location. Everything in Old Town is a short walk away. Frantz and Kelly were wonderful hosts and made us feel very much at home. They welcomed us warmly and offered great dining suggestions. The beds are the best! We have already returned to Bon Sejour for one night on Christmas holiday. We'll be back again.

My husband and I returned to Alexandria, Va., where we were married, to celebrate our 20th anniversary over the last weekend of December, 2013. We booked a room at Bon Sejour and were thrilled with our stay. To begin, our hosts Kelly and Frantz gave us an upgrade in our room as an anniversary gift! They were gracious and attentive hosts, feeding us not only delicious breakfasts based on my dietary requirements, but also serving us dinner on Friday night (Saturday we had dinner reservations). They gave us a car tour of DC, and brought us to their favorite spot outside Reagan Airport to watch the planes come in (right overhead). That and many other unexpected plusses were part of our stay. We highly recommend this B&B, and plan to visit again.
