This place was great! One thing I would recommend would be to have a hook in the Taylor room bathroom. Well visit again!

The War Hill Inn was a very comfortable inn with an outstanding host. Close to all historic sites but in a quiet location set off the main road. Excellent breakfast and very clean home.

Very easy to find - close to everything you would want to visit in Williamsburg. The Jefferson Cottage was private, clean and comfortable and a great value. Breakfast was excellent both mornings. Will is a friendly and accommodating host. You won't be disappointed!

We visited War Hill Inn with a very large group in town for the graduation at the College of William and Mary. What an incredible stay we had, and so much of our wonderful vacation was all due to the Lees and War Hill Inn. Our rooms were sparkling clean and beautifully appointed, the breakfasts were amazing, and our hosts were beyond helpful--accommodating, warm, and friendly...just like family! As our group was so large, we were scattered about in different rooms throughout the main house and the cottages and not a single complaint was heard. Everyone had a comfortable bed, enjoyed the amazing grounds, and loved the colonial décor found throughout the home. Will and Dr. Lee provide warm, friendly conversation to their guests, and their recommendations for activities and area restaurants were perfect! We will be returning to War Hill Inn many more times in the future--even without a student at William and Mary! Thank you for such a wonderful, magical visit!

We stayed at a cottage and loved it. The privacy allowed us space. The facility allowed us comfort during a hot summer. Breakfast is always sumptuous!

Had a great 2nd stay at War Hill Inn. This time I was in the Monroe Room and it was very comfortable and pleasant. The bathroom and shower were large and very clean. Due to my schedule I did not get to stay for breakfast but the other guest told me I missed a great breakfast. I will be visiting War Hill Inn again.

I had a wonderful stay at War Hill Inn. I arrived later than usual, but the owner everything ready for me. I stayed in the Washington cottage, and it was a beautiful Little cottage with two rooms. Enjoyed a good time reading by the fire place during a thunderstorm. It was the perfect atmosphere for someone from California, where it hardly ever rains. I will be returning to this inn.

Will and Bill were the ultimate hosts! We were treated like family. The location was literally minutes from the Premium Outlets (if you prefer shopping) and Colonial Williamsburg (for those of us who enjoy real history). Rooms were comfortable and, if you wanted 20th Century accoutrements, you have both a TV and Wi-Fi available in your room.
