One evening over dinner, Diane and John MacPherson decided it was time to quit the corporate life and pursue a dream of creating a business that combined their passions for food, wine, cycling, and entertaining. In 2004, Diane and John left Southern California, bought a small bed and breakfast in Washington, Virginia and set out to realize their dreams. Diane and John both grew up in New England and have a eight-year-old son, Finn, and a yellow lab, Stella.
