"A Romantic Retreat" for that "Special Occasion Getaway". An 1880 "Queen-Anne Victorian Farmhouse" secluded on nine acres of woods, pond, stream, willow trees, stone walls and rolling pastures. Located in historic Sudbury near village green and churches, it looks much as it did in 1683. The Inn is set far back from the road, and boasts high ceilings and large windows, beautiful wide pine floors, fireplaces, a double parlor with grand piano, a formal dining room, Ye Olde Worlde Cafe with access to the Veranda overlooking the pond and pastures. All the guest rooms are individually decorated with comfort and ambiance in mind. Looking for a two-person Jacuzzi bathtub? maybe a King size Canopy bed? how about a working fireplace? or maybe it's summertime and you're craving your own private balcony with great views of Georgie, Moonfield or Daisy grazing away in the green pastures.....let us know what kind of room you're looking for, and we'll recommend the best one for you! If you wish to invite family or friends to Breakfast, make your booking at reservation time, we also offer lunch and dinner with advance reservation. May We Have The Pleasure of Your Company? Unexpected surprise on the way home from Boston

3.8 on September 03, 2018

We needed a place to stay after dropping our son off at college. This was perfect, quaint, out of the way, comfortable and in a great town. The owners are very personable. Decorated with great collectibles. Love the atmosphere, the horse theme, and especially the ability to pet the horses.

Not what we expected.....

Owners were very nice and accommodating. A little odd there was no one there to greet us only an envelope on the door with our keys to our room. Other reviews do pretty much sum it up. The home is beautiful but overwhelmingly cluttered and in need of a face lift. Wouldn't go back.

Memorial day get away

Great location to get away and relax. Clean, quiet and polite.

No horse play! A great weekend get away!

The heart shaped tub allowed to enjoy a relaxing soak together. The foam topper mattress was so comfortable. My husband raved about his farm fresh over easy eggs!

Home away from home

We are in the Sudbury area a few times per year to visit family. This is our go-to inn. The innkeepers are very friendly and the place is very comfy. Breakfast is very good with farm fresh eggs. We enjoy walking around the grounds and saying hello to the horses.

excellent place to recover from your wedding!

We loved our stay here. We arrived late due to our wedding's late finish, but everything was set up and ready for us when we arrived. It was a beautiful stay and super friendly. A+

Outstanding B&B

Great location, great owners (Joan & Rick). Beautiful horses on site. Charming place and just what we were looking for.

Very disappointed!

1.8 on June 07, 2016

I'll start out by saying that the proprietors are very friendly and responsive. I had many questions before arriving and my e-mails were all promptly responded to. That is where the good part ends. This place is dirty and so cluttered that you can't even find a place to sit in the room. The house is in bad need of repairs and paint peeling everywhere. The breakfasts were fair-to-poor. You can have anything you want, as long as it's eggs. It seems as if the owners are not really serious about running a B&B. It also appears as if they have not bothered to go and stay at other B&B's in order to benchmark their offering. Bottom line: Poor!!

Stay during Boston Marathon

4.6 on April 25, 2016

I arrived 11 PM Saturday night and found an accommodating letter directing me to my room with an invitation to an upgrade at no cost the following 2 nights. The breakfast the next morning was a mushroom/cheese omelet with bread and marmalade all made from ingredients on the farm. The rooms were charming with comfortable beds. I plan on staying here next time I visit Boston.

Excellent Stay!

My husband and I decided to stay last minute. We had an amazing stay - comfortable bed, clean room, great Jacuzzi bathtub and warm hospitality. Fresh farmhouse breakfast in the morning made the trip. Can't wait to return in the Spring.

About the innkeepers

Our first love is the caretaking of this delightful spot, and caring for the pets we have and the wildlife that is around us. Rick is an antique car buff, and has restored many vehicles: 1956 T-Bird, 1929 Essex, and a 1952 Ford Pick-up with wooden side rails, decorated with the Inn's logo. He plays golf whenever the occasion arises! I love to play tennis and plan parties! If you wish to celebrate something here at the Inn, a family reunion, a birthday, a wedding, call me!
