Stevens Point's Hidden Gem

5 on June 21, 2017

I had a presentation near Stevens Point. I had planned on camping, but my wife decided to come with. The weekend stay was one of the Best B&B I have stayed at. Bonnie was flexible with check-in time. The room was exquisite and plush. Every inch of the place is clean and decorated. I felt like I stepped back in time. There was quite a thunderstorm while we were there. The room was very quiet. The morning sun slowly wakes you up in the morning. The showers were hot. The breakfast was amazing. The hosts entertained with enjoyable banter. I highly recommend sitting on the porch with coffee before breakfast.

Innkeeper Response

Victorian...and Chic, Too

"Dreams" is a wonderful place filled with Victorian décor. Not far away, though, are chic art galleries, some in a beautiful park along the Wisconsin River. Add to all that the graciousness and cooking skills of Bonnie, the owner, and its 5 stars!

Wonderful Stay

4.8 on July 20, 2016

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Dreams of Yesteryear B&B. It was a wonderful experience. The house is absolutely beautiful with Victorian furniture and furnishings. Our bedroom, the Isabella room, was quaint and charming with a very comfortable queen sized. Our hostess Bonnie was so personable and friendly. She knew the complete history of her home and shared with us the remodeling and rehabbing they did to make it the beautiful home it is today. Bonnie's cooking was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed breakfasts that were unique and delicious. They actually held us through the entire day until dinner. And coffee was always ready at 7:00 a.m. You couldn't ask for a better hostess than Bonnie. She knows the entire area and recommended a number of great places to visit while we were there. Should we return to the Stevens Point area in the future we will definitely stay at Dreams of Yesteryear B&B.

Lovely Host and Home!

5 on March 07, 2016

My daughter and I traveled to Steven's Point for an Admitted Student Day at UW-SP. We chose the Gareld's Room because it offered two twin beds - perfect for mother and daughter! We were greeted, warmly, by Bonnie who made a wonderful recommendation for a nearby restaurant for dinner. Our room was perfectly decorated and we slept well in the comfortable beds! The entire home was beautiful and the breakfast the next morning was delicious! Pecan-stuffed french toast with sausage, fruit, lime and banana yogurt, juice and mint tea - just wonderful! We will be back and I'll bring my husband next time! :) Thank you Bonnie!!

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for taking time to review our bed and breakfast. I enjoyed having you and your daughter as guests. Having worked at UWSP for all those years, I enjoy meeting our prospective students and bragging about our fine university. Looking forward to your return visits.

Nice stay

4.0 on January 17, 2016

Very charming place. The decoration is tasteful and authentic period. We enjoyed our stay in this large B&B. It was nice and quiet and we got a lot of reading done. The hosts, Bill and Bonnie, shared interesting stories of how the place was restored and of the people who originally lived there. The breakfast was delicious. We hope to stay there once again sometime.
