A Gem in Dennis!

5 on August 21, 2018

So glad we chose Mulberry Inn for our 3 night stay in South Dennis! The beautiful home, grounds and our room are lovingly cared for and spotless. Our charming hosts made us feel completely at home from the minute we arrived. Our room was very comfortable with many nice touches. The owners provide the "little things", water bottles and extra beverages in the room fridge, bathrobes, hair dryer, beach towels, makeup wipes, an outlet with USB options to name a few. If needed, they offered us beach chairs as well. The grounds are beautifully maintained. I wish we had more time to relax in the backyard and enjoy the peacefulness. As for the breakfasts, let's just say you won't leave for your day on the Cape hungry (Yum!) - you may even get a few snacks for the road! Mary Beth and Peter are both lovely people and a pleasure to talk with. So glad we chose their Inn!

Better than home!

5 on August 17, 2018

Aside from the inn itself and the charming rooms, the owners are what makes this experience truly memorable. Mary Beth and Peter could not have been nicer or more friendly. They do everything possible to accommodate their guests and provide a productive and relaxing experience. In addition, if you are truly a breakfast person, you will not come across a better spread than the one Mary Beth prepares each morning...she is amazing. Give them a chance, you will not regret it.

Wonderful !

It is the best B and B we've stayed at. the room was beautiful, the owners were exceptionally gracious. The food was wonderful. We will return.

The Best B&B experience we have ever had!

5 on September 06, 2016

This B&B is an absolute gem. Located in a perfectly restored antique home, it is beautiful inside and out, and provided us with the cleanest room we have ever had - anywhere! Mary Beth and Peter are wonderful - helpful and incredibly responsive. She makes breakfasts that are beyond description - baked eggs, ham and sausage, scones, muffins, french toast, her own special fruit concoctions, juice smoothies and more. And, Peter actually loaned my husband a tie when we realized he didn't bring one for a wedding we were attending! We enthusiastically recommend the Mulberry Tree Inn to anyone, and we will most definitely be back. Thank you Mary Beth and Peter for sharing your home with us! Tom and Patti W.

Second stay here and as good as first!

5 on July 06, 2016

Peter and Mary Beth are outstanding innkeepers. From the booking process, the communication for arrival, the greeting with open arms and the quality of the rooms could not be a better experience. Excellent location, solid breakfast and a most beautiful property. Feels like home on the CAPE! Highly recommend this B & B.

Great hospitality! Convenient location!

5 on June 09, 2016

Peter and MaryBeth made us feel welcome from the time we arrived until we waved good-bye. This mid cape location was great for where ever we wanted to go on The Cape and also for getting ferries to Nantucket and The Vineyard. We chose to stay upstairs in Molly's Hideaway as it looked quaint but you do need to watch your head so you don't bump it on one of the original beams. The bed is on the soft side so if you want a hard mattress this may not be the best fit for you. The bathroom is tiny with a small European-style corner shower so if you're a large person, this may not be sufficient for you. The bedroom is large so there is plenty of room to spread out. There is also a separate entrance up outside stairs. We found this very convenient so we didn't have to go through the house. MaryBeth had a different kind of fresh homemade cookies for us each afternoon. Breakfasts were more than adequate. Large 3 full courses of delicious foods were served each morning: fruit salads, homemade baked goods, and an entree + there was granola and yogurt on the table. As it was so delicious and because there was no way we could eat it all... MaryBeth sent the baked goods with us for us to eat later in the day. We enjoyed sitting in the common spaces in the evening. Lots of choices of comfortable chairs and sofas to sit or curl up in. We would heartily recommend this inn and would not hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area.
