The Green House Inn was a great place to stay. The house is unique, the outside pool area is amazing complete with a beautiful macaw parrot, and the service is top notch. I did not get into the pool or hot tub but others did. It was clean and private. The staff is friendly and they do the little things that make a difference such as a pantry of snacks (little chocolate bars to name a few) to fresh coffee in the morning. Breakfast includes: fruits, waffle iron, assortment of oatmeal and cereals, muffins, etc. The location is great and a $7 Uber ride to the Quarter or jump on the street car for a buck 50. I stayed four nights and would stay again.

This was the most relaxing time we have had in a long time. Jesse and Frank were awesome. Frank was at our beckon call anytime we needed him and very knowledgeable about the area. Beautiful backyard even in the dead of winter. Very private and quiet. Great time, great people, would highly recommend ! See you soon guys!

The Green House Inn has a relaxed sense of elegance - nothing fussy about it. It was a very comfortable, friendly place from which to explore the Garden District, Uptown, and Audubon park. The staff gave us great recommendations, our room was very tidy, and we loved the lush greenery that surrounds the whole place. Would definitely stay again.

My boyfriend made reservations for an after-Christmas/Birthday get-away for the two of us & the Green House could not have been more perfect! The NOLA weather was cold && gloomy, but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.! The rooms were cozy and we did find time to enjoy the hot tub. We will be back soon!!

I had a great stay at the Green House. Nice grounds, nice rooms, quiet, and very safe. Coffee house and brew pub are very short walk away. St Charles Ave trolley is just around the corner.

We stayed at the GHI for the fourth time the week before Thanksgiving, and it was perfect...as it always is. The rooms, the service, the pool/hot tub, the relaxing environment...it literally is our favorite place to stay in the US. We'll be back next year...and again and again!

This was the fourth time I have stayed at the Green House Inn. As before, I enjoyed it immensely. A lovely old house with a tropical courtyard with pool and hot tub. The courtyard is "European Attitude". Its great to walk the few blocks from the convention center after a meeting and have a good soak in the hot tub, no need for soggy bathing suits. The morning breakfast is great, with a good assortment of breakfast foods available. Any time I visit New Orleans I'll be staying there again.

We came for the "European Attitude" pool and court area but we will come back for so much more. We couldn't wait to come down for breakfast each day just to mingle with other guests while our marvelous host, Jesse, held court on the attractions, culture and history of the city as well as engaging recollections on his colorful life. It never got old. If you're willing to walk, the GHI is ideally situated among the Garden and Warehouse Districts, the Superdome, the French Quarter and the Riverfront. If not, all are a short taxi or Uber ride away. Did i say that the GHI is only steps away from the incomparable WWII museum? In all, just a marvelous and memorable stay. We will return!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! Like you, many of our guest are pleasantly surprised at our centralized location and the ease of reaching many of New Orlean's sights (including the WW II museum). We are looking forward to your next stay with us!

Wife and I were in New Orleans for a big cycling event. We were able to ride from the Inn to the Superdome for the ride. Afterwards a soak in the hot tub was amazing. We spent a day and a half walking the Magazine Street and St. Charles Ave neighborhoods, finding many places to eat and some great shops. But chilling out in the clothing optional pool and hot tub was the most relaxing part of our trip.
Thank you for posting your review here on B&B.com. We are thrilled that y'all enjoyed your stay during the cycling event! As you noted, our saltwater jetted hot tub is the perfect way to unwind after a day exploring New Orleans. We would love to have y'all stay with us again!

Private, quiet, with great views and occupying the entire 3rd floor of the Inn (2 flights of stairs - no elevator), it is our finest accomdations. The Royal Poinciana Suite has a large private sitting room with 55" plasma TV & DVD, a writing desk, mini refrigerator, and microwave. This leads into a large bedroom with king size posted bed with a deluxe Sterns & Foster mattress, a 42" flat screen TV &DVD. There are the original hard wood floors throughout. The large bathroom has a view of the city skyline, an over sized shower for 2 tiled in Italian subway tile and an antique footed tub under the eaves with skylights above. Great for honeymooners, anniversaries, stay cations, business travelers or anyone else who wants to "Relax, Stay, Just Be".
