This B&B exceeded my expectations! The place is so quaint and tranquil. The grounds are beautiful with flowers, a water fountain, and porches to sit and relax. The inside common area feels like home with a complete kitchen that has refreshments and snacks that are available at anytime. The fresh fruit cups they make are so delicious! My room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. Jan and Fran the owners were so kind and very attentive. Fran is a hunter so he has animal heads on the walls of deer and other animals. If you are sensitive to this type of thing just be aware that you will see these there in the main areas of the house. I was fascinated by the stories Fran told me of this historic place. I can't wait to go back and stay longer next time.

The purpose of our visit was stressful, but coming back to the Stone House each evening was like coming home, warm and cozy. Will definitely return if we come back to the area.

The room was spotless and had all the possible amenities one could ask for down to the flower petals in the toilet, no detail was left unattended.

I stayed in the "Primitives" room which is a perfect size with all the amenities. Everything is amazing down to the flower petals in the toilet....The breakfast was incredible with really fresh fruit. delicious food and the feel of a high end restaurant. At the same time, the host could not have been more attentive. You need to stay here if you are anywhere in the area.

Stone House Inn & Spa provided me with the perfect weekend of relaxation and pampering. The facility is immaculate and welcoming. The spa was a 10! Professional and friendly staff with a great environment, strong services, and very affordable prices. Regarding the Inn, I like that the owners were accessible without being intrusive or making me feel like I'm more of an intruder than a guest (I've seen that a couple B&B). No detail is overlooked here. The area offers so much to do as well. I'll be back and I strongly recommend for a weekend away alone, with a spouse, or with girlfriends.
