Wonderful Stay

5 on October 23, 2017

The Croff House is everything you want in a B&B and much much more. The rooms are comfy, clean and so well decorated. Russ and Duncan go over an above to make you feel at home. When we arrived Russ took the time to go over a map of the town and give us wonderful recommendations for Restaurants. Duncan was our Chef for the two days we stayed and the breakfasts were amazing. The house was deocorated for Halloween and Fall, I tell you no detail is overlooked. Each night they turn down the bed and leave a little weather information card on your pillow. I can't imagine going to New York again without visiting the Croff House. Janice and Mike from California

Hudson Heat Wave With Duncan

3.8 on October 01, 2017

We had a lovely stay at The Croff House in spite of unexpected 90 degree heat in late September. Duncan had the AC going full blast in our room and there was a ceiling fan, so we were very comfortable there. He gave us fabulous breakfasts and a great history overview of the area. The dinner recommendations were spot on...yum. Best of all Duncan and Russ kept their cool in a hot situation!!!

Innkeeper Response
We're happy to hear you enjoyed your stay so thoroughly, but are a little confused by your ratings compared to your comments. If there was anything we could have done to make your stay more enjoyable please let us know. We thank you for choosing to stay with us at The Croff House and for taking the time to share your experiences with future guests.

Signature Dish

Baked Amaretto French Toast
Our recipe takes a twist on the traditional Grand Marnier French Toast and uses Amaretto instead. The light almond flavoring pairs well with all of our homemade berry sauces and flavored fresh whipped cream. The overnight preparation ensures the French Toast comes out crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside!
