*In walking distance to the Original Shops in Helen* Open since 1982, this alpine-style Bed & Breakfast is located on a beautiful and secluded tree-covered hill above the Chattahoochee River and only 1/2 mile from the village center. Helen is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in one of North Georgia's most scenic areas and just six miles from the Appalachian Trail. A German Oktoberfest is celebrated each September and October. Listen to the Bavarian Music of Octoberfest and watch the deer that fequently feed on the front lawn. Enjoy a full breakfast each morning in the Sun Room. Occasionally we offer a German-style with hard rolls, cold meat and cheese, pastries and fruit. Your hostess will be happy to direct you to the many outdoor activities and sights.

Frankie and Barbara are great hosts and made our trip really outstanding with their hospitality. Great breakfasts and great service make the Hiltop Haus a must visit on your trip to Helen. Our truck needed to go to the shop for repairs and they so graciously loaned us their vehicle to use while we waited for ours to be repaired. You can't go wrong here!

I chose this B&B as a weekend retreat for my girlfriend who was visiting from out of town and the place was perfect! Barbara and Frankie are extremely nice, accommodating and informative innkeepers. The room was very well-kept, extremely comfortable and private. Frankie and Barbara pay attention to the details and it shows, right down to the plate of fresh baked cookies on the night table and the ready-light fireplace well stocked with fresh wood. The breakfast is very tasty, and was different every morning. The homemade yogurt parfait was particularly good! Outstanding location, overlooking Helen and the riverfront. For the price, you can't beat it! My girlfriend and I will definitely stay here again.
