Great B and B

5 on August 30, 2017

A charming B and B with very nice rooms, excellent afternoon wine and hors doeuvres, and great breakfast with fresh fruit, pancakes and bacon, and egg items. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful- they know all the best restaurants in the area, and can suggest which wineries to visit. It is also well located. We would definitely return!!

great bed and breakfast

5 on August 29, 2017

I recently stayed at Bella Villa Messina for 2 nights for my birthday. I have never stayed at a B&B before, and I was impressed with the service and rooms at Bella Villa Messina. Jerry was very kind, easy to converse with, and very knowledgeable of the area. We were given wine tasting vouchers, which came in handy! Jerry didn't know that I had a diary allergy, but was prepared and made a special breakfast to fit my dietary needs. Wine and cheese at 5:30 was wonderful (I can eat goat and sheep milk which was provided) and we sat out on the terrace and enjoyed everyone's company! Jerry and Harold made it a comfortable stay and made reservations and recommendations for dinner and winery's to attend. I would definitely stay again!

Great Stay

Harold and Jerry have a great place to stay in Healdsburg. The location is close to town and both the breakfast and the afternoon wine and cheese are first rate. Jerry gave us excellent advise for touring smaller wineries in the area as well as restaurants for dinner. Littleton Colorado

Wonder July 4th holiday

4.2 on July 20, 2017

My wife and I stayed here the week of the 4th of July. It was a great place to stay. Very comfortable and Jerry was great! The grounds and rooms are very nice. Breakfasts were very hardy and prepared us for a day of hiking, sight seeing, and winery tours. Happy hour with wonderful wines and cheeses made us look forward to 5:30 every evening. We will very likely stay there again when we are out that way.

Beautiful, eclectic property.

Jerry, the proprietor, is welcoming and gracious...if a bit eccentric. He loves to talk, is kind and accommodating.

Outstanding B&B

4.4 on May 30, 2017

The highlight of our trip to Sonoma was definitely Bella Villa Messina. Given that BVM was beautiful and the rooms were what you think of when you think of a B&B, the owner Jerry Messina is the reason we would return. At breakfast Jerry would map out our itinerary for the day, suggesting wineries and restaurants. His suggestions were right on.

Wonderful stay at Bella Messina

Our stay at Bella Messina was wonderful. Jerry and Harold are knowledgeable, warm and welcoming-- in short, the perfect hosts. They told great stories about the area and helped us build a customized itinerary for our visit to the area. Their property is stunning yet comfortable. We look forward to returning soon. A wonderful experience

Jerry and Harold are amazing hosts. The house is gorgeous and comfortable, the rooms very well appointed and the service wonderful. Beyond the experience of the inn, however, Jerry and Harold are true ambassadors to the Sonoma community and they have all the inside information and wineries, restaurants and the area as a whole. Having never been to the area before, it was incredibly helpful to have available to us someone so knowledgeable about the area and the businesses. The inn has connections to all of the wineries and many of them provide discounted or even free tastings to the guests of the Villa. I can't wait to go back.

Wonderful Property

We enjoyed our stay at Bella Messina. We came without a plan or dinner reservations and Jerry took care of it all. Breakfast was delicious! Wine and cheese at 5:30 was delightful.

The best place to stay in wine country!

The location, the venue, the hosts - its all the best we've experienced - cheers!
