Santa Nella House ... in the middle of nowhere ... and at the center of everything! This Russian River bed and breakfast, in the Sonoma Wine Country, is a Victorian farmhouse dating back to the 1870’s. Built by a prominent physician as his residence, the property has been an olive oil mill, a winery, a speak-easy, a stage coach stop and, since 1984, a bed and breakfast inn. Extensively renovated and modernized, the stately structure boasts five bedrooms and five and half bathrooms. Each room is tastefully furnished with antiques, features its own fireplace and a modern bathroom. The spa area is located in the midst of a redwood grove and seats six. A full gourmet breakfast is served between 9 and 10 AM, wine and cheese are set out at 6 PM and homemade treats are available for guests before they retire for a peaceful night's sleep. Mike and Debbie Brooks love to welcome guests with a glass of wine and some helpful advice on where to explore the wonderful Russian River recreation area.
This romantic upstairs room looks out over a grove of 200 year-old redwoods and is decorated with oak antiques, features a handmade quilt, a fire stove and an authentic cedar-lined closet. The private bath has a claw foot tub and a shower.
This room can be supplied with a separate roll away bed for an extra person for an additional $50 per night. If you have selected three guests, this fee has been added and is reflected in the room rate.
The Gold Room's upstairs view is of the Korbel vineyards. The queen-sized antique bed, marble-top oak dressers and a redwood wall, hand-cut and milled from trees on the property, accentuate the room. The room offers a fireplace and private bath with stall shower.
This peaceful first-floor room, with easy access to the outdoor hot tub, features a mile-high antique pine queen-sized bed. The fireplace is bordered by windows that let in the fresh morning light. A sitting chair invites one to cozy up with a good book. The room offers a private bath with stall shower.
This popular downstairs room is named in honor of Emma Prosek, mistress of the Santa Nella House a hundred years ago. A queen-size canopy bed, rich, dark walnut antiques and objects of art grace this guest room. A fireplace and a thoughtfully appointed private bath with shower complete the magical ambiance.
Cottage in the Woods is for those who seek a more secluded environment. This romantic cottage features a queen bed, fireplace, dining table and chairs, claw-foot tub & shower.
Breakfast can be delivered, hot and ready for you for an additional $20 per night. Please call to add this option to your reservation.
