Built in 2004, Rose Cottage is a charming country estate, set in the beautiful Great Hagerstown Valley. Enjoy pastoral views of our 20 acre farmland and stroll our fragrant English gardens. A private entrance leads you to two well-appointed one-bedroom en-suites featuring queen beds, private baths, modern amenities, a lounge, and fine linens. Awake to a delightful hearty breakfast of homemade pastries and local organics. Located a short 70 mile drive from Baltimore or Washington D.C., our close proximity to Antietam National Battlefield and Shepherdstown make Rose Cottage an excellent home base for local travel. Hike, bike, or enjoy the many water sports of the nearby Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Park. The Premium Outlets and city of Hagerstown are also only 10 minutes away. Honoring those who serve, we are pleased to offer discounts to seniors over 65, teachers, and military personnel.

It was perfect place for me to stay for the night and visit Antetium National Battlefield. The room was outstanding and breakfast was even better. If I'm in the area again, I will be calling again!

My fiancee and I stayed here as a post-Valentines break from wedding planning and it was great. Small and quaint with a lovely dining area. Kathy was very accommodating and prepared a wonderful breakfast.

The only suggestion I would make is that each room has it's own ceiling fan to be able to control the temperature in the room! Besides that everything was great! Thank you!

"Rose Cottage is a superb Bed & Breakfast." ¿Location near Interstate Wine Fest and several historic sites. Relaxing atmosphere with exceptionally appointed tasteful decor. Fresh flowers from the lovely gardens throughout the rooms. Common room stocked with choice of beverages and fresh baked chocolate chip muffins. Delicious gormet breakfast served on patio completed our enjoyable stay. Many thanks to Kathy, our gracious hostess.
The Rose Suite guest room is on the second floor in a private section of the house. It features a queen size bed, high-end linens, and a private en-suite bath. Overlooking our rose garden, this suite is cheerful and sunny.
