Staying in room 23

5 on January 11, 2011

We haven't been back to Baypoint for a few years but it was just as we remembered it and even more! The Winter trolley package was a fun thing to do and Miles and staff treated us royally for the New year's Eve and Day with special treats. The room is close to the dining area (so I sneak in there in my bathrobe) and the room has a great view. It is a specia place to go for a "get away"!!

Favorite place to stay

My wife and I have been coming to the Bay Point Inn for six years. We fell in love with it right away. The rooms are one bedroom villas with patios and in most instances, a hot tub in the bathroom. The king sized bed is cozy and comfortable, with lots of pillows. The view of the bay is unparalleled. The Bay Point Inn is perched high over the waters of Green Bay, so you have a fabulous of the water and the coastline. The breakfast is delicious. You get waffles, exquisite pastries, freshly cut fruit, coffee, bagged and loose Rishi teas, different cereals, and sometimes eggs. The innkeepers are very friendly and the service is sensational. The rooms are well kept and clean. We really enjoy the fireplace in the wintertime, and the 32 inch HD TVs come with basic Charter cable. The plants and flowers on the grounds are immaculate and beautiful in the spring, summer, and fall. Christmas lights shine through the upstairs breakfast area windows in December. There is a refridgerator in the main office where you can buy soda, wine, cheese, and other snacks if you get the late night munchies. Sweatshirts and robes and lotions and shampoos are also for sale. A best kept secret is the jacuzzi room behind the office facing the bay, with its huge sun room window which heats the room, especially nice in winter. All the rooms are nice, but room 13 has become a home away from home for us. Prices are lower from August through the middle of June, and higher from the middle of June through mid to late August. Watch your email for an occasional $50 off coupon. Kids are welcome, and there is a small library of board games and dvds upstairs, but this is definitely more of a romantic couple getaway type of place. I do recommend that more dvds and books be added to the library. I think I will bring some upon my next visit. The Bay Point is beautiful and affordable and highly recommended.

Bay Point Inn Door County Wisconsin - Jewel of the Peninsula

The joy factor far exceeded the price. Clean, comfortable, interesting, quiet and relaxing. The inn keepers were helpful with my procurement of a piece of artwork from a local gallery that was closed for the season. The piece was a surprise for my wife. She was surprised! A must stay when in Door County Wisconsin. Loved the breakfast!

Door County Splendor

We have stayed several times at the Bay Point Inn & have enjoyed the beautiful views, outstanding service & wonderful pool & gardens each time. The bedding is luxurious & each unit has it's own balcony or patio for privacy. The inn is within walking distance of several restaurants and Egg Harbor shops & is conveniently located to the rest of the Door County peninsula. A very romantic property for couples or a serene, peaceful getaway for friends or alone time.
