What a delightful surprise ... who knew the Sunrise Coast of Michigan offered so much? We truly enjoyed our stay in East Tawas. The B&B is beautifully decorated and maintained. Our room was comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was YUMMY! You can be as busy or laid back as you want -- there is a true sense of peace and calm in the B&B. Plenty of space to spread out indoors and out. Leigh is very welcoming and she felt like a friend by the time we left. We're already planning a return trip.
Thank you for your encouragements. It is our pleasure to share the Sunrise Side with you. You have blessed us with your graciousness.

We recently spent three nights at this Bed and Breakfast and loved it. It was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting on the porches and in the very comfortable living rooms. It felt like home. Breakfast was always wonderful and Leigh the owner is friendly and seemed like family by the time we left. We will be back.

The accommodations were exceptionally clean and comfortable. You felt right at home sitting in a wing back chair by the fireplace and reading the latest novel. Our breakfast was superb and our host Leigh was a pleasure to visit with. She did everything possible to make our stay an enjoyable one.We would strongly recommend you give the East Tawas Junction B & B a try on your next trip north.
Ever so pleased that you enjoyed our library and parlor. Your encouragements are the oil that keep these rusting wheels turning. You are most gracious. Thank you ever so much

Our stay was so very pleasant! My wife and I found this inn charming and comfortable. The keeper of the inn, Leigh, was very considerate and made excellent breakfasts for us. Our room was very cozy, and a nice change from 'hotel' accommodations. We thought the trains passing were a bonus (and since only one or two pass late on weekday evenings, not intrusive to us). We were in Tawas for a family gathering, and as enjoyable as that was, we appreciated a welcoming sanctuary for our overnight rests! The rooms are different sizes and each is furnished uniquely. Consult the innkeeper to select the room most suitable to your needs and desires.

We have stayed there the last 2 yrs for the Blues on the Bay ,the 1st time we went alone and last yr we brought 2 couples with us. The rooms are so cozy and clean, the staff is very friendly, Leigh is a hoot and her stuffed blueberry french toast is awesome. After an evening of Blues came came back and sat outside on the deck and enjoyed the night air. The Dailey's

Christmas Blessings Lee and Pam. Many thanks for your kind and gracious review. It's a great area for hunting and fishing and were so pleased you were able to take advantage of it. You blessed our home with your encouraging presence and ask for blessings, beyond measure, for you and yours now and throughout the New Year. Gratefully, Leigh, Karen & Michelle

Our visit July 2013 was our first time to East Tawas. We had a great time. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and super clean. The sheets were so fresh! We stayed in the Giardino room which has a door right off the deck. It was nice if you just wanted to go sit outside and read a book, etc. The front lawn is beautiful. Uniquely, there is a train track running through the large front yard, but we never heard or saw a train. Breakfasts were delicious. Leigh is a fabulous host. Once she knew the type of things we liked to do, she made sure that we didn't miss out on the River Road National Scenic Byway. We are so glad she mentioned it! We had a great couple of days, discovering the beauty and history along the AuSable River.

First time staying at a B&B and it was wonderful! Breakfast was amazing!! It was so cozy and comfy, it reminded me of staying at a family members house rather than a stuffy hotel room.
